I visited the Texas Roadhouse in Vincennes, Indiana for the first time today. The food was delicious, but I won't get the Ceaser Salad next time. The dressing was to tart for my taste. The waitress was very nice, but the seating was cramped. Between the drink menu and food there wasn't any room left at the table. I am used to space. I got a first-time customer pack, but the appetizer coupon is designed for a couple or more and not a single person. Not much is designed for a single person anymore. Usually enjoy a roadhouse night to end the week but this time they left out the family Caesar salad in our family chicken critter meal. The togo bag was tied off so I just assumed everything was correct which most of the time it is. I called the restaurant to see if I can get it removed from the ticket and I was placed on hold for 10 minutes and then I called back again and the same girl picked up and said "you really that worried about a salad" and put me back on hold. After listening to the "holding song" 12 times I have decided to give up. Don't waste your time at the west Little Rock location. Go to the one in Conway, Benton, or NLR. read more

I mean... who doesn't love their rolls and butter!?!?! My kids love coming here for their kids meal steak bites. I usually get a small steak and a baked potato or sweet potato with a side salad. It's so much food that I take the potato home with me. The steaks are typically done just the way I ask for them to be made. I appreciate that they have you check. The staff is always really friendly. Last time we sat at the bar because there was such a long wait for a table and that worked great. Where do I start.... One friend didn't get his sweet tea till 15 mins after the rest of us during the time she was supposed to go get it she brought us three baskets of rolls (second round) and plates and took our food order each stop at the table she claimed she would got straight to get the tea. Well we ended up having to ask a random employee walking by! She never came to check on us or anything after taking the food order. My steak was ordered medium rare. It was about as dark as the asphalt in the parking lot I gave them the benefit of the doubt on That because I had to hold my very squirmy son because they HAVE NO HIGH CHAIRS! The steak pictured and every other steak at the table looked identical to the picture not even room temperature inside. We couldn't even get any one to come by to have them make it right. We weren't mad we know mistakes happen but just wanted to enjoy our meal. The little table tablet to pay didn't have the checks split right and the waitress finally came by to fix it after waiting so long that half the party left to take the babies outside to the car. She finally fixed it after multiple attempts and brought us our tickets. We then went to hand her our cards but she didn't take them she just turned around and walked off. The tablet didn't appear to be right so we assumed it wasn't on there. Back to the waitress: we saw her maybe two times. She stood at the register thing the WHOLE time yapping her head off. She was so quiet you come t hear her and took your order like a Waffle House cook. The bathrooms weren't too bad just really needed some attention, over flowing paper towels, little to no soap, and just needed to be paid a little attention! -100/10 do not recommend! October 19,2025 A few family members were celebrating my husband's 67th birthday and was his first time getting out in public since his major surgery, therefore he was really excited to get his favorite meal at his favorite steak restaurant, Texas Roadhouse on Shackleford in Little Rock. We both ordered the 12oz Prime Rib, others in the party ordered the Catfish Platter. Our steaks couldn't have been any better, they were perfectly cooked to our specifications, which was Medium. The Catfish Platter looked like a photo in a Food Magazine and was a hit for people ordering it. The Service was good but the server was a tad to talkative and interrupted our conversations and meals. He made it clear he wanted a nice tip. It was not noise and we sincerely loved that. I went in a group of six. Our waitress got our drink orders after we had finished our rolls. Then never got one of our drinks, after waiting 15-20 min we had to go ask another waitress cause ours had been asked twice and was nowhere to be found. The guy that brought out our salads would just yell what salad it was and wait for one of us to grab it. The only pleasant service member was the bus boy who came by with his tray to pick up our dirty dishes. I ordered an 11 oz sirloin medium rare and I have a picture of how it was cooked, it also had a gamey taste. A waitress spilled a drink on the floor and didn't clean it for over 30 min, and two waitresses were yelling at each other from across the restaurant. I've come to this restaurant for years and it has always been great but the last three times in a row the service was sub par. This particular time I called ahead to see if there was any waiting. There was none. We were seated in less than two minutes,then crickets. We sat for 15 minutes then left. I talked to the manager and although she did try to "make it right" I said no thanks. She then said have a great night and walked off. How do you make it right with consistent bad service? You don't. The customer either keeps coming back and hopes for the best or leaves and doesn't come back. I chose to leave. I'm sure they will get it together someday but I doubt it will be in the near future. My wife and I placed our order on 1/21/2025 which consisted of: 1. Early Dine Special / Sirloin Steak (sides - salad and broccoli/carrots) 2. Early Dine Special / Chicken Critter (sides - chili and broccoli) We each ordered a drink; Crown on the Rocks for me; Margarita for my wife. The food came out in this order: 1. Chili 2. Each Entree 3. Salad When I complained that the entree was brought before the salad, the waiter said he couldn't control when the salad person prepared the salad as they are 2 different preparation areas. He admitted the salad should have come out before the meal, but again said nothing could be done about it. He said when someone orders their steak medium rare, it will come out sooner. I asked to speak to the Manager on duty. She came to the table and said the exact same thing as the waiter and that nothing could be done about it. I asked the Manager if the order could be placed as separate items to eliminate food coming out improperly. She said we would lose the discounted pricing benefit if we did that. I told her that it seems like there is no conclusive way for orders to always come out correctly based on their system. She agreed. They both apologized. However, that didn't alleviate the matter whereby my entree came a few minutes before the salad and by the time I ate the salad, my meal was very cold. I consider this very poor service and terrible coordination within the food preparation process. Surely, you can do better than that especially if you agree the salad should have come out first. I questioned the Manager if they receive complaints about the process. She said she was not aware of any. I asked for a comment card. She said I would need to go to TexasRoadhouse.com to lodge a complaint, comment or survey. Terrible service. I will be posting this experience to the Texas Roadhouse review site. read more

The food we ordered was actually really good, the only thing I didn't too much like was that our waiter Andrew brought us our check right after our food was delivered to our table. Here I am on my second bite and trying to enjoy my entire meal while staring at the check constantly wondering if this is a hint to hurry up and leave? What if I wanted dessert? Are you going to waste more paper by bringing me a new check after the dessert is added on? Needless to say, I ordered no dessert, I just let my concerns be known to the manager who happened to stop by our table to see if everything was enjoyable, which it was except for that. I say let people enjoy their food, ask if they would like dessert, THEN bring out the check when they are done. I don't know what has happened here to one of my go to restaurants but this is twice I've been here and tonight my Ribeye was over cooked a little from my normal medium rare. Its wasn't enough to send it back but it was barely warm. I got the mashed potatoes as a side and they were so cold the butter and cheese wouldn't melt. Our waitress "Yolanda" was great and tried to make things right but when I got my replacement mashed potatoes with butter and cheese, they were molten hot and you could tell they had been nuked. With the exception of the waitress and host person that was below customer service standards the restaurant was very noisy to much chatter going on amongst the waiters/waitresses felt like I was in a carnival. I was seated about 6:20pm and my order was taken approximately 10 minutes later. 30 minutes go by and I don't have my meal. Our server informed us that she didn't know what was going on with our food and she would check on it. 10 more minutes go by before I stop the same server and ask for a manager.
