This Texas Roadhouse just opened a few weeks ago and it's already very busy every weekend. We went last night which was a Saturday, so I knew to put my name on the waitlist ahead of time. Once we got there, we only had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. I ordered the New York strip which was good but not amazing. I do really like the rolls they give you though. Mashed potatoes and fries were also good. Our server was friendly and I didn't have to ask for any refills, she was on top of it even though it was busy. I would say the atmosphere gives more bar vibes. It was loud and they were playing sports on all the TVs. I don't mind any of that but if you don't like places really noisy, than this isn't it. We happily found out about this new Texas Roadhouse being built, which is closer to us than the one off of 28. It was pretty busy for a Tuesday night, but there wasn't any wait for us to get sat. We were greeted immediately when we sat down, and our server was very attentive. I will say that the music is very loud, and that at this location they do dance/sing. The entire staff was very friendly, and they seemed to genuinely enjoy their job. Now the drinks amazing, their bartenders know what they're doing. You could still taste the alchohol, but it wasn't overwhelming. The food came out quickly, and my steak was delicious. Dine in | Dinner | Update: 7/12/23 So I gave this place another chance and yet again failure was the only thing being served. I brought my family here and me and wife decided to get the catfish since we know from previous experience that the meat is not the best and the chefs that are preparing it are even worse. My mom got the filet as it being the best cut on the animal even if it's not cooked correctly its still tasty usually. The food took an hour to get to us. Once we received the meals I realized that both the wife and I catfish was very cold and my mom's steak was gravely undercooked. This seemed to be the mantra there that night as I noticed other patrons also complaining and leaving. The manager did come over and take the meals off our table and ticket though. I will never return. This was the 3rd strike at this restaurant so bye bye liberia manassas location. You are failing the manassas area. HIRE BETTER COOKS AND A BETTER EXPEDITTOR TO ENSURE THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS AND SERVED HOT. WHAT A SHAME. The franchisor of this establishment is very nice but definitely needs better more experienced employees in the kitchen if he wishes for this new location to thrive. We ordered takeout right at Sunday opening for a birthday celebration. Ribs were charred black, and half the size of an order you get sitting down. Herb crusted chicken was also burnt, salty, and very dry. Had to throw half of it away because it was basically inedible. steak fries were cold, also very stingy on order size. Broccoli was cooked to death. Lettuce for burger was soggy. they've lost our business. If I'm going to spend that kind of money it will be a place that serves better food. read more

My family goes to this location Texas Roadhouse at least once a month and it's always been a very pleasant experience. The 6 oz and 8 oz sirloins are always quite tender and affordable. They have a lot of options so everyone can find something they're excited for! The service is always at least average, but most often exceptional. The food was good and our server did everything to accommodate my food allergy. The decor and all that was fine. Here's where the story turns...I noticed an ant crawling on the booth bench of our table. My sister takes a napkin and gets it. Then there was another one, and another one, and.....The manager stops by our table to see if all was well and we tell her about the ants. She tells us that they had an exterminator in the other day and apologizes. My sister ends up sitting beside me, as the ants were on her side. A different server brings my dinner and we advise of the situation. She asked if we wanted to move to a different booth. We declined, as now my sister was beside me, but the little ants were still crawling around on the other side. When our server returned, we advised her and she also asked if we wanted a different booth. We stayed where we were. The ants seemed to be only on that side. When it was time for our bill we asked if there was going to be any compensation for the ant situation. Our server said the manager "paid for one appetizer". The manager never came back to check on us nor see if what she thought was proper compensation was agreeable to us. I seriously feel that (1) "paying for an app" was not enough and (2) the manager should have offered to move us AND taken care of our entire bill. We didn't cause a scene or anything and we most definitely could have. Not only was that POOR customer service in a restaurant, but that section should have been CLOSED for the rest of the evening. I'm rating the restaurant as I am with the hopes that Texas Roadhouse do some serious training all around for situations like this and more. read more

Each time it was sent back there was a LONG wait for my meal. During the time I waited for mine, my two companions finished their meals and ready to go! FINALLY, I asked for the Manager. The waitress returned saying that she informed the Manager, but the Manager was very busy and would come when she can! Those words left me in shock! The final straw was when the steak was brought to be the last time and it was burnt! The Manager didn't try to get me a good steak, she said.....I can take it off your bill and if you want you can take it. That was a slap in the face! I came for steak! I had money! The only resolution she had was remove it from bill. That makes her problem go POOF! But, I'm still hungry and embarked in front of my friends! My boyfriend took it (he and I had discussions later! It should have been trashed! He claim he was thinking of the dog!). The bottom lines was I wasted my time and energy for NOTHING! I left as hungry as I entered! Taking a burnt steak off the bill is NOT why I came to that restaurant! Burning that steak and serving it was mean, crude, unprofessional and inappropriate. The Manager didn't try NOT do her job which was to ensure the food was satisfactory and to customers satisfaction! The waitress did what she could. I like to visit a restaurant at least three times before reviewing. I must say the food gets a 4.5 out of 5. Amazingly consistent food each time that I've gone to TRH. The .5 is for the broccoli it was a little too crunchy for me more raw than cooked. The service has been great the first two visits but the third visit not too much. I'm familiar with upselling at TRH and I'm VERY familiar with TRH. I personally like to know about an upsell...don't ask my family if they want mushrooms and onions and don't tell them it's 2.29 to get that. You get a bigger tip from me if you let me know the extra cost. This last visit my family ordered 2 of the combo 8oz sirloin and shrimp. It was stated that it was 22.99 on the menu. The bill came out with everything ala carte 8oz sirloin 15.99 and 2 shrimp smother 8.58 per combo. This made the combo more expensive than what was printed. We brought it to server, Ray's attention and he stated he didn't feel like going to get the manager so he would just give us the cash. No we didn't want his cash we just wanted the ticket corrected, especially after upselling the hell out of my family. He proceeded to tell us he didn't feel good and tried to make us feel sorry for him. But at the end of it all he upcharged us. Why are we feeling sorry for him? We had talked about trying out TR and finally went today. I have no idea why the place is so busy. The food is really bad. The pros: Our waiter was really nice and attentive and tried his best to make up for the rest of the place. The cons: Everything else. I ordered the steak tips medium with rice. They came cold with cold rice and no gravy (the tips have gravy). They took it back to heat it. It returned warm ( I was kind of hoping for hot). I didn't have the heart to send it back again. The meat was tough, overcooked and too salty. The rice (warm btw) was also too salty. I don't have a problem with salt, but the rice was inedible. He got a sandwich with fries. Fries were stone cold had to be sent back. There are at least 5 steak houses in Manassas alone (Lone Star, American Steak, Logan's, etc. and Outback is in Centreville). Not to mention all the highend steakhouses in No. Virginia. Why are people eating at Texas Roadhouse? That was our first and last visit. read more

Horrible experience all around. We had to struggle to get our orders taken and receive our orders. The music was way too loud. Our waitress could not hear us and we could not hear her. We had to shout our orders. I could not even talk with the people at our table. Our orders can in pieces. My 89 year old grandma spilled a cup of water and ice. We thought we'd try out the Roadhouse since it's been opened for several weeks so they should be operating at 100%. We were greeted well and seated by our waiter who, although she seemed not particularly knowledgeable about drinks and prices, she was very nice. We had asked about sitting in a booth in bar area but they said those were not available at that time (4:30 on a Tuesday). So, waiter walked us to a booth. I was momentarily very happy with the seating because we were not seated next to a booth full of another group. A pet peeve of mine is restaurants that seat people on a row of booths, one next to the next until an entire row is full. I'd prefer to have a little privacy if possible. Our waiter did so, but then the next 2 groups were seated on each side of us, while booths on the opposite side sat empty. We ordered drinks. My wife's drink came wrong but was corrected. We ordered potato skin appetizer- It was very good. We ordered the BBQ Chicken/Rib Combo plate wide 2 side salads. The salad was very good-One of the best side salads I have seen. BBQ Chicken ordered with sauce on side-it came with sauce on side but sauce also on top of chicken, it had to be corrected and came back fine and tasty. Ribs ordered came very charred black with sauce attempting to cover the burnt part. I ate most it but would never order it again. Go to Dave's if you want good ribs. Ordered 2 meals of catfish. I know it is a steakhouse but our local seafood location closed. The catfish was not fried completely. Instead of white, flakey fish it was sort of clear and glossy. We expect better of Texas Roadhouse. Sides were good and the bread, as usual, was delicious. read more

Went there on a Thursday night and it was busy but not crazy. We had a great waitress who was attentive and kind. This review is not about her at all. After ordering our food our meal went down hill. First they ran out of salad then found some and brought it over. Then my husbands food and my daughters food came out. My stake did not. 20 minutes later mine came out almost mooing. It was raw and cold ,so bad that the waitress said she couldn't let me eat something like that. She told the managers and they kept on looking at our table. After an hour and still no food for me my husband asked to talk to a manager. He stated that there has been a lot of food being sent back so they are backed up. I told him we just want the check and to take mine off our bill. He then stated that he will get mine to go and still take it off the bill. 40 minutes later and we finally got the check. The managers we're letting the waitresses take the heat for the bad service. That is a terrible way to treat the employees. Getting to the Texas Roadhouse was a little hectic and confusing to be quite honest. From the map we thought it it was next to the Krispy Kreme but it's actually across the street. Staff was super super nice kinda miss having peanuts on the ground but due to covid they got rid of it but totally understand it's now considered a health hazard. So happy to have another steak house close by. We placed a take out order, the text message reply directed us to park in the 'to go' area. It took a minute for me to understand that they were not going to bring it to the car, you walk up to a window to get your meal. The food was delicious, we love catfish and it was very tasty. My husband ordered a baked potato and a sweet potato with his dinner. The bag had the toppings for a baked potato and toppings for a sweet potato but he got TWO sweet potatoes.
