When we were seated the bus boy was still working on cleaning up. Obviously feeling rushed by two guests and host just staring at him in the middle of the aisle. He scrambled to pick up and clean the table but he left a beer bottle from the last people. This was nothing more than an accident on his part so I kindly picked the bottle up and placed it at the end of the table prompting the host to grab it. She made eye contact with me then the bottle and walked away. I immediately felt like leaving and this was obvious as another waitress came by and asked if the bottle was left and grabbing it while apologizing. Finally our waitress came and she was very kind! We loved her even though our moods weren't exactly happy! During the meal the manager was doing the usual rounds of asking people about their experience and food. All the tables in our aisle were asked and met with the manager but ours! The meal as in only the food was nice and met the usual standards we have for this business. I usually am very pleased with this location but I was immediately disappointed from the start tonight as it all seemed lazy and neglectful to a space that guests would be consuming food at. read more

Insisted on standing there and rushing my mom to take a bite of her food to make sure it was good, rather than walking away and coming back to check on us. Steak was so over cooked I could not cut into it. This is no joke. I ordered medium and got well done. Didn't want to make a big deal. Ate part of it and couldn't cut through the rest of it. Ordering to go went pretty bad. They must have miniature rolls they make for to go orders lol. Never seen rolls so small and almost burned, a side order of fries included a child size handful, the side of cheese looked like 5 shreds of cheese, and the salmon was so raw it was bright orange and cold in the middle. read more

First time at this particular Texas Roadhouse. The overall atmosphere was decent. My waitress was nice. Forgot her name though. I'm made at TR because they have been out of catfish at all location in Midlothian for months and months but it's still showing availabe on the menu. But this particular location was also out of tatar skins and rattlesnake bites. For the alternative, I ordered the smothered chicken with baked potatoes as my sides. I'm not a steak eater. The chicken was okay but just wasn't giving me what I needed it to give. The mushrooms in my brown gravy were burnt, so I picked most of those out. One of my baked potatoes was extremely small also but oh well. Anyway, I love the catfish at TR. So it's been real disappointing when I go for that specific thing and don't find out until when I'm sitting or placing my to go order that they are all out. I think that needs to be displayed or let known way ahead of time. Maybe put that announcement on the website. I guess I'll start calling ahead. I probably won't return until the catfish returns but at this rate I doubt it ever returns. Such a disappointment Also, our drinks had SO much ice in them. I cant believe how busy this place is. Either it's because it's new or people love it but plan ahead when wanting to dine here. It's a chain and is on brand with what you would expect at a Texas Roadhouse. The food isn't anything to write home about but it tastes good and the staff is friendly. I was in a large party so I called ahead and then helped me out regarding what time would be best to show up since they dont take reservations. We were seated quickly and our server was buried with multiple large parties but she kept up well. Very nice lady. read more

When I say this is the worst Texas Roadhouse I've been too on the east coast... I will never be coming back to this Texas Roadhouse ever again. The service was horrible and acted like she hated her job and the food tasted like a McDonald's grade cheeseburger. I will be sure to tell my friends and family not to visit this location also. Unfortunate that if you are not a regular, the manager does not care if you get good service or not. Do not ever sit in the bar as the staff will serve their regulars on the wall right behind your booth. Talk about how rude and uncouth that was...having a loud mouth man sloshing his beer and fried pickles right behind my head. If I had reached up to scratch my head, I would have been wearing the beer and pickles. We left before eating our dinner, because of the deplorable situation, and the loud mouth patron followed us out. He must be a true blue regular as he wanted to intimidate us in the parking lot. I felt threatened by the whole situation. When I wrote to the owners, no one felt the need to respond. So you see, if you want great service and food go elsewhere. I went to this Texas Roadhouse location a couple nights ago to pick up my to-go order and in that order was a dozen rolls. I go to the store to pick up my food and then go home. I open the box of rolls and they look disgusting. The look like they were smashed in the palm of someone's hands and then thrown in the box. Texas roadhouse is known for a lot of things including the fresh baked bread, generous portions and the fun and friendly atmosphere. The fact that this is a new restaurant a lot of the reviews have been especially hard on this location. We've been here a few times already! I'm thrilled that it's close by to our growing area. We've done call ahead seating with no problem. To go was no problem, just slightly confused about the setup of two stands that look like hostess stands. To go should probably be elsewhere imo. Regardless, we were immediately greeted by multiple staff, they were attentive the entire time. Managers checked in on us. Our server was amazing. There was a minor mistake or two, but they were super quick to fix the mistakes and apologized. We did not experience any lengthy wait as our choice of time to go was early enough perhaps. Any restaurant that's just opened in this area especially, It's going to be busy! They're experiencing mistakes as most new restaurants do. As they learn from those mistakes it's going to be forgotten by the other patrons who come in. It would be great to see the ones that had a different experience try it again. The holiday season is past & that must've impacted the wait times most complained about. It's a great place with fantastic food and it's not the to go or call ahead seating employees fault if they don't have control over the kitchen. Yet the kitchen can only do so much when the amount of interest in coming is so incredible. That speaks to why the wait times were long or orders weren't perfect- People wanted to come right as they opened. I visited this establishment on 4/15/2022 and on 4/16/2022. On 4/15 my waitress Taylor did an awesome job. She was friendly. I ordered a herb crusted lemon chicken. It was amazing and well seasoned. When I returned on 4/16 the wait time to be seated wasn't too bad since I was able to put myself on the waiting list online. Love that feature. Once we were seated it took a long time for our waiter to come. He tried to pretend as if he was not suppose to be our waiter at first but his name Asuelu was on the ticket as being our server. Once our plates came mine was a bit messy as bbq sauce from the rib was on the rim of the plate. However, the food was delicious. I dislike that the tables are not adjustable in the booth. The bathrooms could definitely use attention. The stalls are small and position close to the wall with a big to toilet paper dispenser in the way. On top of that the dispenser was broken causing less room. Overall, if you are looking for good food this is a good place. Looking for good service it can be hit or miss. read more

Went for lunch Sunday. Not sure why they don't open until 11:30. Other locations open at 11 and there was a line outside waiting to get in. The service was mediocre at best. Our server didn't seem to care much. Also when given salad as a side choice, they should mention there are eggs in it since that is not a normal side salad ingredient. Overall the food was just OK. Dreadful food. Driving home, looked for a place near 95, with gas near for lunch. It had 4 stars. Take out service okay( no napkins or fork etc) Food was awful! I looked up what I could eat that was healthy & low salt ; only bbq chicken sandwich. Ok, but it was freaking enormous, dry, greasy, and the bbq was bitter flavored, bland and salty. The negative- I ordered a smothered steak & paid extra for it but they never added the gravy and I was already home when I noticed. I also ordered a blooming onion & it was completely raw in the middle! The batter that it's coated with was still wet & completely uncooked! Only the very outside was cooked. This is the second time we have been here and the food was absolutely awesome for a reasonable price the only downside was the attitude of the hostess Jasmine. Both times we have come here she acted as if it was an inconvenience for customers to be there she was very short curt and unfriendly. Really needs to get their act together.... our party of 6 came in on a Sunday evening having used the online wait list. In the hour + we were at the restaurant we received beverages and some sugar packets, and 1 server check in. We gave up and left. We understand that stuff happens but you need to communicate with your tables when something has gone wrong- not just leave them waiting, not even checking to see if apps/soup/salad was run (hint: it wasn't). So we enjoyed a robust meal of 1 roll and peanuts each. Simply unacceptable. read more

It wasn't good. The burger was greasy & to much seasoning salt like they mistakenly over seasoned it. The wife's mixed drink had all club soda. The kids said the rice tasted weird. The steak sauce on the table was old and tasted funny like it's been on the table forever and never cleaned at the cap area. But the bread and butter was delicious. Please fix the sweet tea. It tastes like so much sugar is poured into the tea. Honestly, that's not healthy to have all of that sugar in there. You don't even taste the tea. Evaluate the color of the tea and see for yourself. Train your staff how to make the tea properly. Get advice from the other Texas Roadhouse on how to make the tea. Hopefully by the next time I visit, the issue will be fixed. I will wait at least 1 month. I would like to add that Kennedi, the waitress, was a true delight. Great atmosphere, great value, great food. Love the fresh rolls, and everything I've had there. Kids have a blast and love just sitting at the large booth and enjoying the scenery. New chain restaurant. The crowding for this type of restaurant is difficult to believe as this is not the first in the area. The staff is friendly but inattentive as they are very busy. The noise is quite loud. Appetizers were delivered quickly. Food was good and portions are generous. But the crowd and slow service are insufferable. They are thriving on the newness of the restaurant. Curious to see if it survives once things slow down. They definitely have some work to do to maintain longevity. This place failed to follow multiple state requirements regarding hygiene & social distancing on 8/7. Have video of family shoe-horned less than 3' front our table (not their fault). Not even 30 seconds later 2 servers are observed separately hugging patrons at adjacent table then going right back to delivering food to another Table. I spoke with manager following this who said (a) "they were observing 6' social distancing" (absolutely not true) & (b) "she has no authority to prevent her staff from hugging family & friends." If that is how the manager feels about her restaurant & patron's health & safety...judge for yourself. Me... last visit here. By the way...no problems w/ Chesterfield location.
