So just had a terrible experience here. Hostess seated us and no waitress showed up to take our order/ bring us water. A couple of ladies beside us got up and left after waiting for about 30 minutes- they were chatting and lost track of the time. They got up and left and we were right behind them when we saw another couple seated in the section we'll after us and get their order taken right away. Pretty bad. Manager saw 2 tables get up to leave and did ask what was happening. We both explained and she seemed genuinely embarrassed and while we weren't interested in trying again, did give meal vouchers to give them another shot. She made it right but not as right as Glory Days! Next time we'll save time and just come here first!! read more

My wife and I got orders to go and hers was fine however my Steak was so tough I couldn't eat it. I called just to let them know that it looked fine but wasn't at all. The young lady took my email address and apologized and said she'd send me a gift certificat. I told her it wasn't necessary but thanked her but have yet to receive any further correspondence so we will never patronize their establishment again. Very poor customer service. First and last time I go to this location. Was shivering from cold before I even ordered. I know employees get hot but it was ridiculous. The food was cold too obviously. Steaks were full of grisle. I went to the new Texas Roadhouse on Hull street tonight and it was fantastic. Our server Tajah was excellent and the service she provided was over the top and will ask for her in the future. We ordered appetizers and they were served hot and fresh. Their were six of us and the food was paced perfect. First and last time I will ever order from here! Placed order at 5:15 and told to arrive at 5:45. I arrived at 5:45 and waited AN HOUR in my car. I called into the restaurant twice and was told my order was ready and someone would be right out. I watched people come in after me and leave before me. At 6:45, I went into the restaurant and got my food. No apology or anything. I got home and the food was cold. It was obvious my food was ready for a while and no one brought it out. The hostess of this location was nasty and unprofessional!! She has no hospitality service and should not be employed at a service industry. My family and I waited an hour and a half with no communication from the hostess. When we went inside to inquire she said " we will text you when we are ready".If it wasn't already late with my family waiting, we would have selected another spot. Everything went really well until we got our food. Our waitress was sweet and did nothing wrong but 4 out of our 5 orders were incorrect. One had multiple hairs in it, one came cooked completely wrong, and the other two were just plain wrong. We went to dinner early today and I ordered the Country Fried Steak. While our service was great, the meal was not up to par. The steak was probably 75% or more pure grizzle. May guess is that is why it was covered in a cup of gravy. The gravy was good though. It came with mashed potatoes that were cold and a overflowing cup of broccoli and carrots. The vegetables were warm but only slightly cooked. I would call them raw with no seasoning at all. My wife mentioned the steak to the waitress who repeatedly stated she would let the manager know and that perhaps we could get a discount. While this was a nice move on the waitress's part, we declined. We have been to this location several times and have had great food. read more

Texas Roadhouse was my favorite (chain) restaurant until today. This was our second experience at the Hull St. location. The first was with takeout and the food was terrible. I chalked it up to the 7-minute drive home. Tonight we actually ventured in, the waitress was friendly but overall service slow, even operating at what seemed to be half capacity because of COVID. When we finally got our food, the fries (once a highlight of my TX Roadhouse experience) were limp and cold. Though I hated to complain, I did... the waitress brought fresh fries, but they were still limp... only hot. The rolls were doughy as well, and the pitiful bowl of vegetables (broccoli and carrots) were cold and underdone. If we ever go back to a TX Roadhouse, it will be to the location we used to go to, and hope that they haven't changed. read more

Well, I've tried to allow for the issue with this location for the last 5 times. The steaks just keep getting worse. The wait staff is awesome. Service is great! Drinks great. The steaks that used to be good are now not qualifying for my dogs meal. Just awful, can't cut them, full of grizzle. Oh, well I hope I've learned my lesson. No more for us. Sad! read more

Got an order to go: Filet Medallions and Sirloin steak and ribs with extra sides: mushrooms and onions. The medallions were burnt on the outside and disgusting the sirloin steak was an end piece and so tough I couldn't eat it. Ribs were dry been around a while. Mushrooms were black from being over cooked. 2.49 for onions and there was a tablespoon of them. I called the manager. Brook and I got "sorry about that". A coworker shared the managers special with me. 4 8 Oz sirloins, salad, rolls and sides for $39.99. It was a no brainer on a Friday after a long week. I wasn't expecting much, I just didn't want to cook. I was pleasantly surprised! The waitstaff was quick to come to my car and brought the food out promptly curbside (Covid). My entire family enjoyed the meal which was generous portions, cooked perfectly and very tasty! read more

I would not recommend this restraint. My wife's burger was raw when she bite into it. She said well done and this thing was FAR from it. They also lost part of the ticket. My sons food didn't come out until after they recooked my wife's burger. We ordered him the kids Mac n cheese with mashed potatoes. So how it takes until the end of the meal is beyond me. AMAZING experience. i've gone here countless times since the opening. the host treat me like i'm their friend, the servers treat me like a person not just another tipper. The steak i had hand picked was one of the most hearty steaks i have ever had. the bread was amazing as always. the management team made sure we were well taken care of! We had a little entertainment when the servers and hosts line danced for us!! The bathrooms looked brand new! And to top it all of the made my friend feel so special on her birthday by gathering around the servers! WILL DEFINITELY be coming back as a regular! read more

We absolutely love Texas Roadhouse and we were excited to try this new location near our house! The wait time is very long. We had a party of 6 and did the online waitlist reservation but still ended up waiting a while. Food was very good but we were bothered by the fact that 2 people from our party ordered the porterhouse. The waitress came back with the "2 porterhouses" that were clearly not porterhouses and when we asked her is this was correct she said yes. She leaves then comes back and says "my apologies we ran out of porterhouses so that is actually the bone in ribeye." She NEVER came to our table to inform us that they ran out of porterhouses and to see what the 2 people would like instead so instead the staff assumed they wanted a bone in ribeye...how ridiculous is that?! That's really my only complaint here. Do not come out with a new steak assuming people will like it. read more

My family and i eat here at least once per month. I rarely have a problem with a restaurant. Today was one of those rare occasions. At this Texas Roadhouse i usually order either the prime rib or rib eye steak. Medium. Today the 16oz "rib eye" was perfectly cooked but it lacked the expected marbling and it was tough. Tough to cut and tough to chew. I brought it to my server's attention and the manager came over quickly. She began to argue with me that my steak was indeed a "rib eye" and that she had worked at Texas Roadhouse for 11 years and knows what a rib eye is. I told her that i had been eating steak for 60 years and i know what a rib eye steak is and that is why i ordered a rib eye. She proceeded to argue with me, i told her to go away. This apparently was an invitation to say something more. I reiterated my wish that she go away and was more stern. She continued to talk but did offer to take it off my bill. When the bill came, it had not been removed. I may go back as this is the first real problem i have had here in the couple of years i have been dining here. The bottom line is, if your order includes a rib eye steak, be sure that is what you are getting at this restaurant. read more

Walked in yesterday at 1134 and was seated after a few minutes. They open at 1130 on Sundays and the parking lot was already half full. Hostess and waitress seemed friendly. had a party of seven, 4 adults and 3 kids so sat in the bar area in the corner with a table that could seat 9, not bad. Ordered everything pretty quickly. Had to return a cup of water due to something black floating in it. Waitress said sorry and got a new water quickly. then waited 55 minutes to receive our food. So at 1225, we finally received our food. Catfish that I order had no taste at all. I have had catfish many times before, and it was simple and to the point, very bland. Wife ordered the shrimp and steak, medium rare... guess they thought my wife wanted to eat sushi. the shrimp was cold and her steak was more rare than anything. she could not even chew it. Their chicken salad seemed like they went to Kroger and got a bagged salad and just added chicken. Kids macaroni and cheese came out cold but my boy loves cold macaroni and cheese so he was happy. The only reason that my wife and I did not ask to speak to a manager is that we had guest from out-of-town invite us out for lunch and they were paying. They had a house salad and a chessburger, which they did eat. my family will not come here again if we are planning to go out to eat, but if someone else is paying, then maybe. not at all a great time or experience. read more

We love Texas Roadhouse and often frequent the Midlothian location. This was our first visit to this Texas Roadhouse and it was the absolute worst day experience that we've had. We didn't get refills on our drinks. We never got our salads and ended up having to get them to go. Two of our meals did not have sides and we finished our steaks before they even came out. We understand that this is a fairly new restaurant but we expected better from the chain restaurant that we had grown to love. We're extremely disappointed. read more

My son and his girlfriend ordered steaks cooked medium and they both were served VERY rare steaks. My son who has a weak stomach threw up twice in the restroom. His GF's dad went today and sent us a photo of the steak he ordered that was brought to him very rare. This is a steakhouse so you would expect they would know how to cook a steak. My advice to you guys from a business prospective - you guys need to expedite the kitchen process with more experienced people. - your manager crew needs to be serve safe certified.. putting food from tables back on the grill then back to table is a violation.. - your grill guys need to test and verify food perfection before it leaves their kitchen... sending back the same order twice can be good enough to ruin a dinner experience. - there's nothing easier than making a steak well done... if you are rest good restaurant.. why it's not well done!? Think about this!! - not to mention some notices on the sides and the drinks how they weren't the best - waiting time is a disaster due to the slow motion process and mistakes.. - manager did a good job trying to offer free meals coupons but.. due to the above they ended up in the trash... hopefully things will turn out better for you guys but am really sorry to say that sometimes such a thing can ruin the day of some one trying to celebrate his birthday.. good luck read more

Very, very slow service. 10 minutes before anyone even came to our table and that was to say they would be back in a few minutes. Then they delivered the app and meal in the wrong order, plus I requested a very lean steak and got a very fatty one. The server said she told the kitchen but they are hard headed, seriously? So they told her just to say your sorry. Finally the server remembered to ask how the meal was just before we finished. read more

Normally I enjoy this location. However, today had been the worst visit ever. It took between 30-45 minutes after we placed out order to even get our food. 3 out of the 4 meals were messed up. First meal, the burger was burnt and the fries were not even hot. Second meal, chicken critters were not hot, barely warm at all like they had been sitting out for a while. Third meal, steak was way over cooked and looked like charcoal and very tender. We advised out waitress and all we got told was "it's the cooks fault they are not pushing the food out fast". The table behind us came well after us yet they got their good BEFORE us. Asked our waitress who could not even give a good reason as she was the same waitress for that table. The manager came to our table who advised she would gives each of us a free desert. Waitress came back, who had no clue, asked the manager who then said "you only get 2 deserts and have to share". We ordered the deserts to wait another 30 minutes. Asked for the manager again and asked why it took forever when no desert even had to be cooked. Only to get the same excuse "it's not my fault. It's the cooks who are slow and they have no manager above them working tonight so they do not care to go fast". This is pathetic customer service, especially from the manager. I was beyond upset and still am. Apparently nobody at this location seems to care. If this is how you treat customers I can go elsewhere if you do not value your customers. read more

This was our second and MY last visit to this particular location. Our first visit (wife & I) was in January. The night started just fine. No issues with the greeters, waiter staff, or the manager. The chefs on the other hand. My wife and I ordered basically the same meal, sirloin steak (medium rare), baked potato, but different salads. When the meals arrived the steaks were NOT medium rare. The inside of my steak looked like one that you can choose in the display case on your way to your table. Do the chefs know how to cook steak properly? Our second visit was last night, February 13 our 32 wedding anniversary and like the first visit no problems except for the chefs. The waitress gets our drink and appetizer order. A short time later she has our meal order, Now you'd think the appetizer would show a few minutes later....no. Our salads (one of our side dishes) arrives, followed by the appetizer, and five minutes later our entrees. Of course we speak with the manager and are told the chefs lost the appetizer order. Just how do you loose an order when everything is done electronically theses days? It's pretty pathetic when the chefs can make the overall rating poor when the service, food, and value were the best. read more
