Great steaks. Small cozy restaurant. Friendly service. Try to make reservations as locals love the place and it gets full quick.

I absolutely love this presentation and it had been over a decade since I've dined of such a restaurant. It was a 2-minute walk, so my wife and I made reservations and went there for dinner. We were seated immediately at a table which had a reserved sign on it. Service was good and we felt like we were taking good care of by our server as well as someone who appeared to be the manager. The filet mignon was absolutely awesome. It was prepared perfect for the lava stone presentation. A good sear on the outside and blue on the inside. Based on a couple of reviews I saw mentioning undercooked meat, it appears that people don't understand this type of dining. You are supposed to cook each individual slice of steak by putting it down on the hot lava stone, which comes out at 404 degrees C (hence the name). The steak includes three sauces, a garlic rosemary butter, a chimichurri, and the house sauce. All three were excellent, but my preferred method is to use some of the garlic butter to cook each piece of steak in and then dip in the chimichurri. My wife had the chicken penne pasta and she thoroughly enjoyed it. She also really enjoyed her Crossings wine as well. Based on Atlanta prices, I really can't complain much about their price point. For such a presentation I thought the steak price was quite reasonable as it comes with a side and salad. A piece of bread would have been nice, but not a deal-breaker. Our total bill before tax was $87, including two glasses of wine for my wife. Contrary to what I've seen on another review, there is plenty of parking within a 5-minute walk from the restaurant. We will be staying in Hogansville again this September and 404 C is definitely worth a repeat visit.

We stayed because we had planned on a special night out. It is currently 9:00pm and we do not have our food. We decided to leave and asked for a manager. We were told the manager is in the back and not available. We went to the hostess area and asked for a bill to pay for our salads. After waiting, we were told our food is in the window and we must take it to go. They boxed our food up without the included dessert and we left. It was the worst experience for $235.

The restaurant is very cute and truly has an "at home" feel. I was really looking forward to having the short rib. Unfortunately when we were seated our waitress told us they didn't have it that day. While ordering drinks my husband was ordering beer and he was told they didn't sell what he was asking for. Even though it was listed on the menu. He ended up ordering whatever the waitress suggested and we ordered the shrimp cocktail while we looked over the menu. The shrimp cocktail was very good. For dinner I ordered the filet with lobster and my husband the Pork shank. My filet came out overcooked but was promptly fixed. The lobster was amazing ! My husband wasn't a big fan of the pork. We did order a cheesecake for dessert that was also really good. Overall our experience was pleasant but food wise not what I'd expected from the other reviews. However the service was great. The owner is so nice and spent time socializing at each table. He even came to make sure my second set of fillets were good to go. Our waitress is also very nice. I can see us trying this place out again. Hopefully on a night they have short rib.

It's located in the quaint town of Warm Springs, right next to where rodeos are held on some weekends, which adds to the charm. The restaurant itself is very unique and has a lot of potential. The live music was a big plus, and once the band started, a crowd quickly showed up. Unfortunately, the food didn't match the atmosphere. The cowboy queso was good, but the tortilla chips were inconsistent. some heavily seasoned, others not, and many were very dark and overly crunchy, almost like they were fried in old oil. My husband's bison/Wagyu burger was well-seasoned and tasted good, but his side of spinach unexpectedly tasted like beer. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak and fries. The fries were extremely soggy and greasy, and parts of the sandwich were burnt, which made it difficult to enjoy. We both had waters and considered getting a beer, but domestic bottled beers were $5, which felt a bit steep, so we passed. Our total was $52, and given the quality of the food, we weren't pleased with the value. We're not the type to complain or send food back, so we ate what we could. We may come back and try different menu items because the atmosphere, location, and live music really are great. With better consistency in the kitchen, this place could be a standout in Warm Springs.
