Texas Roadhouse has possibly the best signage I have ever seen- those bright lights was what initially drew us in! Here's some quick tips that we learned from our experience. 1) There WILL be a wait. However, they have "call ahead" seating. I still don't understand exactly how it works, but basically you call them before you get there and they give you a number. Supposedly, it's so that you "do most of you waiting at home." But when we got there, they had no idea how long our wait was going to be. Pretty crazy. Luckily, my boyfriend just took charge and insisted that they seat us at an open table by the bar. 2) Don't get frustrated while you're waiting and just eat some peanuts. Toward the end of our meal, we saw four tables get up and by the time we left (about 15 minutes later), they still weren't sat. I'm not sure if this is some trickery to make the restaurant seem more desirable by forcing people to wait - or - if the hostesses are just incompetent. 3) The Ribeye is AMAZING. It was so juicy, well marbled, and the exact temperature that we wanted. You can even pick which steak you want cooked from the window if you like! 4) DON'T order the chicken fried steak. It was absolutely DISGUSTING. It's covered with so much breading and the actual "meat" is chewy and pretty much inedible. 5) You get 2 sides with each entree. Great deal! Potatoes: Sweet potatoes were so delicious. They added brown sugar and marshmallows and were so yummy. Mashed potatoes were average. Salad: The caesar salad is so creamy and their dressing game is spot on. 6) They bring you these rolls as soon as you get sat that come with cinnamon butter. They are so fluffy and warm and are such a great way to start off a meal. 7) Margaritas are HUGE and cold and REALLY CHEAP. I felt pretty tipsy after drinking what seemed like a gallon of alcoholic slush. 8) This place is fast-placed and really fun! The atmosphere is really enticing and enjoyable. 9) Our server, Nick, was very nice, speedy, and said "no problem" a lot. It's nice being told yes whenever you need something. 10) The prices are really affordable. For two entrees, three drinks, and an appetizer, it was around $75 (that includes tax and tip). Overall, if we we were to ever go back, I would probably just stick to a big ribeye! It's big enough to share even though you might not want to because it's that delicious. read more

Texas Roadhouse truly deserves ten stars for how they go big on providing a free lunch to Vets and Active Military. They don't just stop there...oh no, they take it to a whole other level. They set a table for the Fallen Soldiers as well. I witnessed so many Vets walking by that took a moment and whisper a name and so many had tears in their eyes. One Vet said "They didn't leave no one out". It was my first time at a Texas Roadhouse Steakhouse and this location is fairly new. I expected a long wait which I did not mind. The staff were friendly and engaging. While waiting there were samples of different appetizer items pasted around. Of course the big buckets of peanuts were available too. No one with a peanut allergy should enter this place. Sorry for you but the food is so good. Sad that peanut dust would take you out. Normally when you are seated the hot buttery rolls are placed on the table to but not in my case. I had to ask two times before I was able to see and smell them. Understandably the restaurant was busy and the demand was high. I go to retrieve my silverware that's rolled into a black clothed napkin. Only to find said napkin dirty. When I was told they could replace napkin, I had to inform the waitress I needed a whole new set of silverware not just the napkin replaced. After looking at me somewhat crazy she bought a fresh set. (that's why 4 stars) It was hard to make a decision on entree selection. Do I get the ribs that fall off the bone or fresh grilled chicken salad or a steak? Steak $100 Alex. With the load sweet potato. Every bite was full of flavor. Yes, I have to come back. Yes you can invite me to lunch or dinner. When should I be ready? At 6:35 I walked up to check our table. She said she is still waiting for tables to get up. At 6:50 I went up again, not so understanding. As a hungry and pregnant woman, I was getting upset. She took so long that the guys ordered another round before she even left the table. They sipped on their drinks and talked. After waiting even longer our food arrived. Steaks were messed up but otherwise the food was ok. Our waitress barely came around. She never took our empty cups and plates. We saw her move the quickest when we asked for the check. With our table still full of used dishes, we left at 8:45. This experience irritated me so much that I refuse to ever go back. I am a hard working individual that appreciates good food and good service. I value where I spend my money. I will not be spending anymore of my money or time at this restaruant. My only issue was with the wait time. We did online wait list for 25 mins. Got there and still had to wait an additional 15 mins. But other than that service was great and fast. Food was delicious. Almost as if they were frozen and reheated--like Banquet frozen chicken. No sauce as well. I ordered the ribeye cooked medium- and received a well done steak instead. The replacement steak was so tough I couldn't cut it, and had so much fat it was inedible. As for my potato, I've never seen anything so grossly covered with salt. The salad was soggy, and some of the lettuce was frozen. Perhaps Roadhouse should stick to the peanuts and warm rolls only. I will say the folks there were very apologetic. I look forward to visiting my mom in Florida every year because we treat her to Texas Roadhouse and it's one of my favorite places for sweet potatoes and steaks so we were super excited when this location opened up. She lives in a small town so this is one of the better establishments in her area. We started of on a rocky note because they hadn't told us when we reserved seating over the phone that our entire party needed to be present in order to be seated. Our two friends were only tagging along for dessert so they had planned to get there late so we were waiting for an extra 30 mins while the rest of our party waited with rumbling bellies. After the entire party had arrived we still waited an additional 20 mins to be sat. I'm guessing this had something to do with the place being packed. Once seated, service was friendly but not fast. Once again probably due to the fact that there didn't seem to be an empty seat in the house but we were keeping ourselves occupied with the awesome complimentary rolls that come out piping hot and super buttery. They are so good...I could eat 5 baskets!!! The blooming onion app was salty but good just as expected. I've tried the fried pickles when I was at TR in Florida and they were salty to the point of being inedible so if you're okay with the onion breath, that would be my recommendation. I had steak the night before so I didn't go for my usual ribeye which I should have just done. Instead I ordered the grilled shrimp with a full rack of ribs and neither blew me away, but the loaded sweet potatoes kept me quiet. I would never order them any other way. The loaded comes decked with crispy and gooey marshmallows topped with what I think is sweet cinnamon drizzle something or other. My 3 star review was based on my main course being less than underwhelming. The shrimp were smallish which I didn't mind but was lacking flavor and the ribs were too dry for my liking and didn't have enough sauce (the latter may be personal preference).
