Today I took my girlfriend here for lunch We got here right when it opened at 3:00 p.m.. She got a hamburger and fries or I ordered fried chicken and sweet potato and salad. But what they brought me was for chicken fried steak. I thought it was odd when she asked me if I wanted gravy? Anyway I ate it and it was pretty good. Rules today were served hot and fresh. The only thing I'm mad about is when we got there the women's bathroom they had mop the floor with purely it was still slippery and stuck well I had my gray Van shoes on. And I thought I hope this doesn't get on my shoes well it did when I got home I noticed the top of my shoe was bleached It must have touched it with my other shoes. So pissed. Went in on a Saturday at 1pm. The women's bathroom didn't look cleaned from the day before with nasty toilet bowls and a "mess" on the floor of one of the stalls. The bread was hot and perfect. App was hot and brought out quickly. Salads were good. My sirloin was asked for medium and received as pictured, much more well done. Ny strip also ordered medium came out perfectly pink in the middle, both steaks were on the bland side. Ribs were fall off the bone amd juicy, but the bbq sauce was lackluster. Go this place multiple times we love it. Customer service is always great. Staff is super friendly. Bathrooms are always clean. We usually don't have any issues with our food. I would say when there was an issue it was because the waiter was new and just mixed up our sides however, they did do their due diligence and fix it quickly. Celebrated one of my family member's birthday here on a Saturday which a huge group of us. We were sat at three different booths, back to back. This place does not take reservations so we waited maybe 30 minutes outside until they were able to seat us all together. After sitting down, drink orders were taken. Unfortunately, it took them 45 minutes to finally give me my beer. I originally ordered Heneiken, but it tapped. Server came back and I asked for a Stella, but it tapped. Another server came and I asked for a Modelo, but it tapped. Okay - this is three times the keg has tapped but why did it take so long for them to come back and tell me it tapped with all three beers. Finally, I just ordered something that was canned and that came a little after 10 minutes. 45 minutes into dinner service, and we had to beg our server to take our order. I got the 8oz sirloin (medium) with a sweet potato and upgraded to the mac n cheese. Food came out in about 15 minutes. Sirloin was more on the well side and there is nothing special about the mac and cheese. It was Kraft mac and cheese. No seasoning, no breadcrumbs, just plain liquid cheese. After being there for more than two hours, I didn't have the energy to say something. I asked for a to-go box and left. All the servers were overwhelmed. It was hard to play catch up. Not with my big party, but the whole restaurant in general. There was a lot of servers just talking on the side - waiting for something to happen. You can tell who are dedicated to their role and who are just there for another paycheck. Also, the line dancing has got to go. The employee's facial expression was awful and painful to see. Decided to pop in last night cause it'd been far too long. Though we've lived in the area 2 1/2yrs we hadn't yet been to this location. We were seated quickly which was awesome. Our server, Parker, was 10-stars!!!! She checked in at opportune moments, kept the drinks full without being asked, even went as far as to bring me out a photo of the last prime rib to see if I approved of the cut before finalizing our order. As a Chef and someone who eats out regularly, I can say I'm my 55yrs that's NEVER happened to me nor have I ever seen a server come in back and do it for a customer. She was cheerful, helpful, a lil chatty when invited to be and just an overall joy to be around. DEFINITELY ask to sit in her section!!!!!! Their flavored lemonades are on point. The salads were crispy with no limp pieces and I will absolutely be trying to recreate their Italian dressing in my kitchen, it's a lil bit thicker than normal with a slight sweetness on the back end. The fried pickles were thin, crispy, not too heavy on the dill flavor with a perfect thin coating that stuck and didn't fall off in the basket fried to exactly the right level of brown and crisp. My prime rib was cooked to my precise temp request, had the most amazing smoke flavor and was nicely enhanced by the horseradish and au jus though it absolutely required neither. I would've liked the horseradish to have more bite but I like things spicy so next time I'll likely get the raw not the creamy. The fact that they have both is great. I got the mashed potato side and was fairly pleasantly surprised that the gravy wasn't pure salt as so many establishment do. My wife ordered the steak medallions with the mushrooms and a loaded baked potato. They too were precisely cooked to temp, danced well on the tongue and though she had it at the ready, she used no steak sauce. The lil cup of gravy that came added a small extra level of flavor that was outstanding. She kept the bed of rice they came on as a side and this was a bit mushy and overcooked but still had a good flavor. She couldn't eat it though. The loaded baked potato should be renamed overloaded LOL. It has everything you could imagine doubled. Her eyes popped outta her head when she saw it and was over the moon. Sadly seriously considering not going back after patronage since day one. The past two visits our steak has had to go back because it was under cooked. This visit, we ordered two steaks medium, one was served rare and one came almost well done. Sent them both back. The cooks threw the rare steak back on the grill which dried it out. The well done steak was replaced with a new steak. Waited and waited. Took both corrected steaks to go once received since the rest of the party was done eating. Service was also slooooow and not up to par. We ended up being there an hour and 45 minutes. Bathroom had not been cleaned in quite awhile. There was mildew on the inside of the toilet at water level, the stall door was filthy and the faucets on the sinks were crusty and covered with a slime. Ick. Definitely not the cleanest or highest service standards that Roadhouse used to have. Every aspect of this visit was picture perfect. The best part was that for a Sunday, the wait was only 30 mins for a party of 17. Idk who did what to make that happen but that made everything that much better. Our server was a rockstar also. We divided the tables and orders into Moms, dads and kids. He nailed everything down and didn't mess up a single order or check. The food was the cherry on top. We were seated inside the bar area and it was very loud. Then the employees were dancing and clapping right near our table which was also very distracting. My order was wrong but no use in complaining at that point. I would give more stars but our server 'Marina' ignored me throughout our time there and only spoke to my husband. He said he figures she focused on him because she probably thought he was the one paying. He wasnt...I was. She needs to be taught to engage with all the people in the party. As a business owner I found it incredibly rude to have her back to me and not turn towards me to take my order. When checking on our table she only spoke to my husband.. Even he noticed and said he felt uncomfortable, like she was 'flirting for a tip'. She also kept calling my husband 'her friend'.... 'Hi my friend', 'How's my friend?', Do you need anything My friend?' . She doesnt know him, he doesnt know her, so Stop it. Went to TxR with a group of 7. Waited a bit but front staff was pleasant. Servicer was pleasant as well. All got our food at the same time but one plate was wrong. Told a different server and she had the manager Devin come over. He asked "what's the problem"? We explained the dish was not what was ordered. He took the plate, asked what was supposed to be ordered and left. Took 15 minutes for the new meal. The rest of us were about done with our meals. Plates were taken and boxes were given. When the bill came we asked to see the manager and asked that the mishap be discounted due to mistake and not getting food till after the table was all finished. They didn't event eat their entire meal. His response was that the server rang up the food wrong, so he made it right. That was it! First - you never put BLAME on anyone. And second he wanted to argue about the meal, that he made it right and there was nothing more he could do. Never even apologized. Never have i encountered such an ordeal for a customer ask. We weren't asking for anything free - just some courtesy. We've been coming here a LONG time. This manager needs some people training! Disappointed. read more

Not my first rodeo at a Texas Roadhouse, but first one at this location. The ones in Texas are always good, so I was interested to see how this one compared. I must say it was pretty good too! The service was a bit slow but that's expected since it's usually packed. (I drive by this location very frequently) the food was good and I have no real complaints. Aside from my salad, that could have been more fresh, I had no real complaints. The sirloin steak was very good, as were the sweet potatoes and mash potatoes. Overall, it was a good experience with the food and prices making it a thumbs-up affair. I would definitely go back and other different items. read more

We've been waiting for a good time to come here since it always seems packed. Today we took the plunge and happened to get a seat at the bar for 3. That's always my go to spot anyway We were quickly attended to and had drinks in hand within ten minutes. I had the signature margarita and my son and girl had beer and a vodka with red bull. That's a great start. We ordered the combo appetizer and it was quick to arrive. The bread was a lot more dense than it usually is and the waitress said they messed the bread up today (but we're still serving it!). That's a negative for the visit The food was also quickl to come, considering the volume of people. My steak was undercooked but they quickly resolved that. It was flavorful, even more so when it was less cooked! I enjoyed the time here and the overall ambiance. It was busy and noisy but a Saturday evening and that's what you want in this type of restaurant. It was decorated like all Texas Roadhouses. If you've been there, you know exactly how it looks. Ordered a salad no tomatoes or egg, simple enough, came out with egg so got another one the second one had tomatoes. One steak was to be medium and it came out less than rare my fillet mignon was supposed to be medium rare and came out below rare. Waitress, wonderful service told the manager and he ended up at the wrong table didn't even introduce himself. It was"too" Too thin, too much fat and way too much seasoning. I'm guessing "too" cover the wretched taste of the steak. Making matters worse were the steak fries, apparently used to clean the grease as they tasted of old seafood, shrimp I guess. Not one to make a scene I added 20% tip to my 103.00 bill not the servers fault and btw my wife's bone in ribeye was bad also. We love this place especially that amazing bread and cinnamon butter. We're in town visiting family and why not go stuff our faces with some good food. Thankfully the wait was only 3 minutes because we were starving. We were seated and immediately our server (Jocelyn) took our order. There wasn't a moment that a drink was under 1/4 empty. Service was way below average. I ordered the All-American Cheese Burger with Steak Fries. I ordered the burger medium rare. It took forever for my burger to be served. They must of butchered a cow to make it. The top of the pile of Fries were great...hot and fresh but as I ate away I discovered they had covered the Old Fries which were horrible. Now the burger was COLD and BURNT with a small and I mean small spot of pink. It had a Funky Taste to it too. The Burger came with 2 little pieces of onion , a pinch of shredded lettuce and 2 real tiny tomatoes. Unreal!!! I was thrilled to see we were getting a Texas Roadhouse. Finally tried to go there for my birthday. Lots of confusion over my free app with entree purchase and them telling me it was a free ice cream or some such nonsense. Finally went back a week later after getting the text for free app. Even though you do call ahead, you still have to wait, seems complicated. I got the smokehouse burger (I think that's the right name, it was mushroom and cheese. It was a very tall mess. Impossible to eat with pressing to make shorter, but that made it almost fall apart (see pic). My free onion thing was good. My side salad was good. My burger was not bad. Placed a to go order. Two meals of the exact same thing. All I asked for was a bunch of ranch. I'm very obviously pregnant and I made a point to say the ranch was life or death. I emphasized this a good dozen times in the two minutes it took me to order. They assured me there would be plenty of ranch to drench my chicken critters and fries. I even specified how many I needed and if there was a charge, it didn't matter whatever it takes. I get home and there's two lousy tiny cups of ranch. Smaller than the dine in cups. For two whole meals alone that's not enough but especially if you specifically asked for more AND gave the exact number. I even left a decent tip incase that request was inconvenient. Stopped here with the family to enjoy a mid-level steak experience. We know it's not Flemings or Ruth Chris, so we set the bar at the appropriate expectation level. The place was hopping on a Saturday night. Sat down and right away the buss crew started clearing the large table next to us. The two fellas and girl must have been in a competition to see who clear the table the quickest. The cacophony from the dishes banging and the sound of breaking glass was jarring and unnecessary. Our server had a bit of an attitude when I asked for a beer glass and it went down hill from there. Although the food was very good, it was impossible to find our server for a refill or some additional sour cream. Had to get up a hail a different waitress to assist. The final piece was the electric gizmo on the table where you're supposed to pay. The waitress brought a paper check and instructed us to pay on the gizmo. The device added a two dollar fee saying that we played a game on it. I did touch the device one time to see what it was and apparently once you touch it, it automatically adds two dollars to your bill. What a way to make money.
