    Dining area of Texas Roadhouse.

We ate here during our visit to Chiefs training camp in August. Excellent food and service at the St. Joe, Missouri location. The facility was clean and the staff were super friendly. Definitely returning next year.

Had a great dinner last night. It was Saturday after valentines, so of course there was a long wait time. We used the app the get on the list before we even left home. The time was accurate on the wait. We were seated about 8pm. The service was good considering how slammed they were. Our waitress was really good. I had the medallions cooked rare. I warned the waitress that if they come out medium, I'm sending it back because I want a cool, red center. She said she'd be sure the cook knows. It came out PERFECTLY cooked! I was very happy with my steak. The roasted sweet potato was amazing, as always. So why the 4 stars? My hubby had his heart set on prime rib. We thought for sure they would plan for a big night of prime rib. They ran out. He was so disappointed. So he had the biggest 20 oz bone-in ribeye instead. He wonders if it was actually that big (it probably was), and he enjoyed every bite. He said he was not disappointed in the ribeye, but I could tell he just really wanted prime rib. I call it a win anyway since we are limiting his steak intake to once a month for heart health reasons. The salads, bread, and potatoes were all very good, as expected. We will be back since it's his favorite place to dine out... for prime rib. And we will get there at 5pm, if not earlier.

Amazing as always! The sangria margarita is my favorite! The steak is always seasoned perfect! Great service! Love eating at this place! Affordable!

We have been going here since they opened . Living in Gower , we are a tad closer to St Joseph than the Liberty, or North KC locations. The interior is pretty standard across the board in all the Texas Roadhouses, and this one is no exception. The steak temps at this location can be very hit and miss. The steak is still a great value and flavor is there! Pro tip: Order extra seasoning! Game changer.

It's not a relaxing experience to dine at Texas Roadhouse. It's always too loud to even carry on a conversation . The food is good though.

Marinara was just ok. It's a smoke house... order MEAT! They brought a mini cornbread to the table right off. It's good. I will ask for more butter for it. We ordered a meat daddy platter which says served 4-6. I would agree. We wanted lots of leftovers. We got burnt ends, pork belly burnt ends, pulled pork, sliced brisket and corned beef. The burnt ends were to die for! The pork belly--ooh my G! Got the Mac n cheese and twice baked potato, fries and it came with more cornbread and pickles. I also ordered a small side of Cole slaw. Because you have to try the slaw... Twice baked pot stuff is good. But not amazing too me. I would put in more cheese and bacon. Not whip potato so much. Or maybe they are instant. But good flavor Mac n Cheese was epic! I can imagine how good the meals with the Mac n cheese and meat are. Pickles are excellent. Crunchy/dilly Coleslaw is really good. I LOvE a vinegar based slaw and this has a mayo dressing but it's light and not drowning the cabbage. It tastes great. Got a small baked beans because I wanted to try it. No self control. They were AMAZING! Way better than the potato's. Fries were crispy and had a great crunchy outside. Yummmm We ordered all this so we would have meals the next day. Totally worth it. The meat daddy JR would have been way more appropriate. Bathrooms were immaculate and had funny decor. Service was quick and bar looked like it had a nice selection. They had carbliss! Wished I wasn't getting right back on the Hwy home

I never should have listened to those who are not fans. My husband got 4 twisteds--2 chicken and one of each of the other flavors. They were all so good. And the fresh fried chips were delicious too. I got the fried swai. My husband is not a fan of fish but he kept stealing bites off my plate, it was that good. The batter was light and crisp. And the portion was huge. I LOVED the honey mustard coleslaw. I'm a slaw snob, and I have high standards. I look forward to eating the slaw again. The garlic Parmesan broccoli was good too. We will be back.

All their food is named after musicians. I had the Hank Williams hamburger, with spicy bacon jam, Cheddar cheese, and a couple of fried onion. The burger was delicious, the bacon jam not overly spicy for me but worked well. Great burger. Came with seasoned fries, also quite good. They brew some of their own beer, which both my friends and I thought they still had a little ways to go to perfect that. I had their Irish Stout which wasn't bad. A little more bitter than Guinness but ok. Definitely great food for a bar, and their craft beer will get there soon. Parking is around back.
