7/11/26- Something ain't right here. Empty booths at this Texas Roadhouse on Saturday at lunchtime is unheard of. Our food was honestly very good and exceeded our expectations. If you have a disability I highly DO NOT recommend Texas roadhouse in Spartanburg SC. I had a seizure and they rolled me on my face and DRAGGED me across the floor. The waite staff had a terrible attitude. The manager and supervisor did absolutely nothing and showed no remorse whatsoever ever. I called the Cops. They couldnt see because the waite staff moved me and CROWED me so they could not even see that part. I ended up at the ER with stitches. Safty hazard for sure! The restaurant was very busy during our visit. Unfortunately, the food took quite some time to arrive and was not served warm. Additionally, the utensils provided were not clean and had old food residue on them, which was disappointing. That said, the food itself was very flavorful and well-prepared. This may seem like a small inconvenience but, for me it's a big deal. I've been going to Texas Roadhouse all over the country for close to 30 years. I like the fact that they're very consistent when it comes to both food quality and service. So, it's very disappointing when they don't have something that's listed on the menu. First of all. This is one of the best places in the world. Heaven will have a Texas Roadhouse. We were seated immediately, and given the heavenly rolls and drinks quickly. My Dr Pepper was perfection and Maddie was a great waiter. Maddie was so fast and sweet and even gave us extra rolls. The country vibe was so well made and I absolutely felt like I was in Texas. I had read reviews where the service wasn't very good, was not my experience, our server has legally immigrated to the United States along with her husband. Food was very good, service was just ok. Ambiance is loud and noisy. We were seated and told had baby. After seated the MANAGER told us to go back in line as baby can't be in the isle. WHAT? We ended up moving to another table where waitress was not as good. MANAGER never apologized or made us feel welcomed. The sides are good. I ordered the half rack of ribs. I received the half cremated special I guess. I'm not one to send food back. I just probably won't go back or just won't order the ribs again. Our waitress was friendly. We arrived 30 minutes after opening on a Thursday. There was already a line waiting to be seated by the time we left. That has to account for something. We were in Spartanburg on business and needed a good steak. I have to say, we like TX Roadhouse generally, but the staff here was very good. From the person who seated us, to our waiter to the manager stopping by to check. All were friendly and making sure we had what we needed. I order the 6 oz filet and that was a bit disappointing, a bad cut meant one side was well very done and the other just right. I didn't tell them, so my own fault. read more

I haven't had a steak in a while, so we decided to eat here. This was probably one of the best meals I've ever had. Everything was so incredibly delicious it actually made me excited while eating it. Even on a very busy night, they cooked our meals beautifully, and got them out in a timely manner. The steak was tender and juicy, hardly any fat on it. The shrimp, green beans, mashed potatoes, were addicting. The cactus blossom was amazing. I think I've chosen my new birthday dinner spot, because that might be my new favorite meal. read more

Then night ended horribly after getting to Texas Roadhouse. First we received burnt rolls and when asked for fresh ones it took 15 minutes to receive them. My date ordered a margarita with no salt it arrived with salt. Initially I placed an order for catfish. They were out. Ordered salmon with mashed potatoes and the mashed were cold. My date ordered a bacon cheeseburger cooked well, it came out pretty much rare. Smh. I spoke with a manager and she pretty much stated that the meal would be discounted but the discount (hero discount) was only 4.52. My night turned out to be horrible due to me receiving horrible food along with horrible service. The problem was NOT resolved. Visited yesterday. Food was great but the service was the antithesis. Our server came to our table to drop off the check and proceeded to tell us, "I'm not pressuring you to pay and leave. In fact, you can stay as long as you want because I don't need a freed up table" and walked away. She said this during a very busy time. She has already scolded me for being sat at the table when two people had not arrived at the restaurant yet and told us that she would not take any food orders of any kind until our friends arrived because that's "The Rule". We order a medium well 11 oz sirloin steak and a medium 8 oz sirloin steak both with loaded mashed potatoes. To start off my husband steak was not medium well it was basically well done very dry ! My steak was done medium well which was also dry . The mashed potatoes bland . Tried to order a margarita just to be told there was no margarita mix . They had me at the salted peanuts on the table! We had a FUN time here, with a long wait made better with bags of peanuts. Very friendly, helpful service. This is definitely a sports oriented restaurant with TVs everywhere; I could see 9 from our table . Loud, but we could carry on conversation. It was Veterans Day so the restaurant was PACKED with people eating off a select menu FOR FREE. How wonderful of Texas Roadhouse! My husband really enjoyed his steak fries, and he also said the All American cheeseburger was "seriously excellent" with slices of Bermuda onion I ordered the baked potato since I was full from all the peanuts, especially liked the salt on the outside. Oh how I wish I could give more stars. The food was pretty good, the service was okay (slow kitchen) but the seating - oh my god. It's like medieval torture. I am a big dude. No two ways about it, except for length and width. I was seated at what felt like a table for children. The table was crammed against my stomach so I had to spend most of the time sideways or at an angle to avoid being in pain which I still was. They have those tables that are GLUED to the walls. You can't move the seats, you can't move the tables. I felt very claustrophobic the entire time I was there and it became unbearable towards the end of my meal. It was so bad I wished I hadn't ordered an entree and only got an appetizer. I will never allow them to seat me in one of their booths again. It was awful. That aside, everything else was okay. But lesson learned. A solid three stars for good food but needless torture of guests. read more

Ordered salmon tasted fresh just a hint to much salt ( but I'm really sensitive to salt ) Other then that cooked perfect . The vegetables needed to be steamed just a couple minutes more but was really good. Loved their fresh baked rolls and cinnamon butter. Our server was very attentive and fun. Wanted to have lunch here 2 weekends ago on Saturday. Arrived about 15-20 minutes after they opened. There were only a dozen cars of people there to eat. Plenty of tables and lots of employees at hostess stand. We were told it was an hour wait for 3 people. No one was being seated and again, plenty of tables and workers visible. Terrible take out experience. Placed order at 6:05pm on the website and after you pay then it tells you the order will not be ready for an hour. Went to the restaurant early to ensure the food doesn't get cold. Waited 20 minutes after the given time and received no apology or any recognition of the extra wait time. Steak tips were very tough and cold by the time I drove home in 10 minutes. Husband's hamburger steak was a little warm and mashed potatoes were cold.
