My husband and I have have eaten at Texas Roadhouse many times For starters, we had the Cactus Blossom. It is always crispy and peppery. I had the half rack of ribs with a house salad, and a sweet potato. The salad is always fresh and I love the Italian dressing. The sweet potato is always delicious. My husband had the steak tips and instead of the rice or mashed potatoes. He also had a sweet potato. For his second side, he had the chili but for a dollar extra he had a bowl instead of a cup. Enjoyed our meal at this Texas Roadhouse. Went with a larger group and got a few appetizers to start like the cactus blossom, tater skins, fried pickles, and boneless buffalo wings, and twisted mozzarella. Appetizers came out fast and were really great! Our waiter did check on us often and made sure the kids meals went in first. For a main, I got the Dallas filet with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. The filet was cooked how I liked it, the mashed was great as well. Everything was wonderful. We have a little bit of a wait because I prefer a certain booth in the restaurant. I prefer to be seated in the bar area away from a lot of other people. We went out to dinner with our neighbors who've done so many wonderful things for us. I'm so grateful. All the food was amazing. The company in the service was wonderful. Michelle was our server this evening. She was amazing. She came back several times to refill our beverage without even asking she made sure all the food was exactly as we liked it. We do have a tiny issue with one of the steaks, but they took care of it right away without a problem. I never usually have an issue ever in this restaurant. The portions were huge. A great family friendly restaurant in Walpole. We called to have our wedding rehearsal here with a large group of people. They don't have big tables, but we were able to get a few booths next to each other. The service was good and I was able to order the ribeye and grilled shrimp with fries and corn with a strawberry lemonade. The rolls with cinnamon butter was soft and fluffy. The portions are quite big and I had leftovers to take home for the next day. Both the ribeye and shrimp were cooked well and definitely a lot of flavors going on the plate. The strawberry lemonade was sweet and refreshing drink to enjoy with my meal. Take some rolls and the roasted peanuts to go with the leftovers. Texas Roadhouse is one of those places you come for the experience. I've only been here twice, and both of those times I waited almost an hour to be seated. This place gets packed! The interior is super cute, it's like a western theme. They also give you peanuts to eat at the table, paired with a bucket for the shells. There are steaks on display when you first walk in, and you can choose the exact steak if you want which is cool. I've never done this but many people seem to. One of the best things about this place are their hot buttered rolls, served with cinnamon butter. They're huge and delicious, always served fresh. I always ask for a side of their whipped butter as well because sometimes the other butter makes it feel too dessert like. Their food is good, but it is hearty so be prepared to bring home leftovers. I got their smothered tips which came with two sides. I chose a cesar salad and rice, both were super good. My boyfriend got their ribs which he enjoyed. Our mistake was also ordering an appetizer thinking we could eat it all... We both left feeling stuffed and ready to be rolled out of there, but I guess that's expected when you dine here. Had gift cards to TRH and we (4 adults) celebrated my birthday there on a Saturday evening. Glad that I joined the wait list online as the place was very busy. Even either a 10 min wait list we still waited another 30-40 min before seating. TRH must set up system to have the lobby less congested when busy. They use this text messaging to get you in the queue, but then you have to stand there for another 20 min so you don't miss your call out by a wait staff. No empty tables. Had a nice booth with plenty of space. Reception took us to our table along with cutlery, rolls and a bag of roasted peanuts and a can for the shell. Our waiter showed up as we were missing the butter and had only 4 rolls for a table of 4. She brought another basket of rolls, more nuts and butter. Nice options on the menu, so we were all satisfied with choices. Little loud in the room and a few birthday celebrations, but otherwise fine. Food was very good. We had the combo app to start. Server asked us to check on steak and cooked to our satisfaction. Everyone liked their steak, especially with the rooms and onions. I had the salmon which was good and cooked perfectly. Came by for another round of drinks. Sides were fresh too, but the bacon bits on the potato were just chewy. Fair price, good service and good food. Christine, the manager, was so rude as soon as I entered the store. I went in asking for a table for two while my mother was on a call outside the restaurant. The first hostess told me that all parties needed to be present, and, thinking she meant at the store, I replied that my mother was here, just outside, taking a call. Christine butted in with a rude and annoying tone, saying, "We can wait", reiterating that my mother was here just outside; she said again in a condescending tone, "We can wait". This made me feel terrible and stupid for misunderstanding what the hostess said. Christine, you were mean, and you do not deserve the title of manager. You made the night memorable in the worst way possible. You suck. The worst part is that when we finally got our table, the food took 32 minutes to make and was awful. Came in on a Saturday night. The wait wasn't long but they asked us to go back in the cold and return to our car until we received a text that our table was ready. I started with a Long Island, it was very sweet which is not norm for a drink that is made of majority liquor and a splash of coke. Went for an early lunch today with my family and my granddaughter's 5th birthday lunch. Everything was spectacular! The warm rolls with cinnamon butter was so good as always! Fresh, cold salads were great and we all had Dallas filets (all cooked to perfection) and fall off the bone ribs which they were. Desserts were delicious!!! This place is crazy, in a good way. The bread rolls are immaculate, I order the potato skins every time because they are so good! Everything else is good, however, it is at the back of a major plaza and takes some time to navigate through if you just moved in and don't have Google maps. Sunday Nov 24, 2024 came here for lunch. The place was very busy. Host and staff very friendly and welcoming when greeted. The wait was about 20 mins, after being seated our server was great she had great customer service! You get the famous warm bread buns with cinnamon butter or honey butter it was delicious very hot and soft. I ordered the country fried sirloin Hand-battered, fresh-cut sirloin served crispy and golden, topped with cream gravy. The two sides I got green beans with bits of bacon and seasoned rice. The sirloin crispy steak was delicious cooked perfectly and the gravy was spot on with the steak. The green beans with bacon bits very good I ate all of them! But the seasoned rice was not good it was dry and the seasoning was very bland was disappointed it looked like it was going to be tasty! But it wasn't other than that I would come back and order some different items from the menu next time. Found not one but SEVERAL STAPLES in my six year old's sister's texas roadhouse bun as she was literally biting into it. She said "ow mommy, something feels hard" , so my mom inspected and broke apart the bread, to which we found multiple staples baked into it. We asked a waiter to speak to a manager and shortly after, a manager with a green shirt and blonde hair named Crystal comes to speak with us. We showed her the bread and how it was by the grace of God that my sister didn't swallow any staples. Crystal was astonished by what she saw and said she understood if we would want to leave, however, if we were willing to stay, she would comp our meal. We thanked her for the gesture and continued to eat as we had already placed our order. Everything was fine up until we were greeted by another manager, Deanna, who then approached us with concerns of how the samples got into the bread. Deanna states "we don't have staples on this facility" and that it was impossible for staples to get into the food period. She then insinuated that my sister was playing around and put the staples into the bun. Deanna proceeded to state that she doesn't feel comfortable with comping our meal, because texas roadhouse does not have staples, thus further insinuating that we planned to put staples into my six year old sister's bread. We paid for our service minus the comp of one child's meal, and we still tipped 15%. Money was never the issue, taking accountability was. I know its a chain but after my first visit I was impressed! It was easy to grab a table for lunch on a Saturday. For only $11 I got a great 6 oz steak that was well seasoned and came with two sides. The first side was the chili. It was perfect, great flavor. Next came the string beans with bacon bits. Honestly, you can skip these - kind of bland and very watery.
