Table loaded, not just the baked potato.

While it was a cool evening, it seems like a restaurant would strive to have a warm cozy atmosphere. It was freezing in this restaurant, I wore my down coat on my legs to prevent hypothermia. The sheer amount of things they place on your table doesn't leave space for even conversation. Friendly staff, but instead of refilling the water glasses, they simply brought more to complete the jigsaw puzzle that doubled as a table. The sack of peanut bonus that is preloaded on the table was absent on our table. The food was fine, just not special.

The decor is what you would typically expect. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is amazing. When I am in the mood for A steak this is my goto.

Unfortunately just had a disappointing experience picking up my to go order. Usually the pickup experience is one of the best in the industry, but today it downright sucked. I walked in to see my order sitting there, rang the bell and waited as almost every staff member walked right by. Noting that it wasn't busy and many people were standing around. I waited quite a while and then rang the bell again. Again I waited. Finally a nice staff member came over and said he would alert the to go guy. The to go guy came up and didn't even look at me or greet me. Finally I was like "hellooo..?" he annoyed said "name?". I then explained I had requested horseradish on my order and he blankly stared at me and asked if it was for my salad..? Then I realized this guy must be new. He annoyed again said "oh..... I guess I'll have to go to the back and get it". Yeah.. he came back with the horseradish and packaged up the bag and didn't even hand it to me or push it towards me.. just left it on the counter. Very very strange interaction. This guy might need some more training. I was shocked at this experience only because every other interaction I've had with staff at Texas Roadhouse has been above and beyond wonderful.

A fun and lively place to have dinner. The food is made fresh and the service is excellent and fast! They greet you with complimentary warm, soft, bread that's delectable with the butter. The steaks are always mouth watering and I love that you get your choice of two sides! My go-tos are the 12oz Ribeye with a side of sweet potatoes and veggies. It's the perfect amount because I like saving half to look forward to as leftovers! The giant, frosty glasses of beer are awesome! Don't forget to grab a free bag of peanuts in the front before you leave :) This is a fun, satisfying steakhouse that we'll definitely be going back to!

First time I did the Family TOGO order it was amazing. $65. I ordered again for my birthday and the salad was a serving for 1. It was missing cheese and croutons (he took it back and this is how it came back) I was mid sentence telling him how disappointed I was and he turned his back and WALKED AWAY. Very rude...

We've brought countless friends here to try it and it's a heafty feat! You get around 40 to 50 pieces of shrimp, around 10 things of potatoes, six things of corn, and sausage too... it's humongous. You really get your moneys worth! If I'm being honest I haven't tried anything else here but I can assume it's equally amazing! I'm really looking forward to coming back here in the summer and enjoying this on their outdoor patio. But so far really love mallards and will always recommend it as it go to spot for anything seafood related! At our most recent stop our waiter was kind gave us lots of recommendations and was quick to refill our drinks or ask if we needed anything throughout our entire experience. This goes for each time we've been here, the service has always been wonderful. I find it this location really unique and it sits on upscale while also being able to be casual. Well it wasn't, their website said 15 mins and it was ready when I got there. The host asked me my name and brought my order out. My wife said the fries were still crispy and the burger was good but needed just a little more bbq sauce on it. My brisket was moist and the ribs were great without any sauce and had just enough of a tug that they didn't completely pull off the bone. The one bad thing was they forgot my Mac and cheese. I called and Zach was very apologetic and gave me credit of a side off my bill. Which I appreciated. We also got an order cornbread. Love the murals on the walls celebrating the Minnesotan culture and icons. The service is always great, and the servers always have a good menu recommendation if you're unsure what to get. The bar has delicious drinks and their Jamaica juice is so refreshing on a hot summer day. Happy hour is a nice discount on some favorite items. I will say anything with shredded chicken isn't my favorite (not enough seasoning on the chicken for my taste) but everything else we've tried is a hit! We always start off with the chips and salsa flight and add cheese sauce - it's NOT a queso, there's no peppers or spice. The creamy green sauce is our favorite salsa they make, it's delicious on everything. The torta is a great choice if you're unsure what to get, the pineapple bowl is awesome if you're trying to share with others. Tacos and burritos are always a hit - I love the crunch of the pork belly and the flavor of the al pastor, taco toppings are onion and cilantro unless you get the loaded taco with slaw. The burrito could probably feed two people with an appetizer. It's a little higher priced than your typical plate of tacos but the quality of the food is always top notch, the kitchen is open and clean, and I've never left hungry or without leftovers. I will note - if you're looking for "traditional" Mexican food this probably isn't the spot you're looking for. It's still delicious just slightly different than what you'd get at your typical taqueria.

This place does get busy so definitely keep that in mind. Luckily I made reservations ahead of time so we had a table waiting for us, otherwise we would have been put on a waiting list since it's a small space. They put us in a corner booth which was nice and spacious enough for 4 people so I'd definitely recommend asking for a booth verse a table if you're planning to come with a larger group. The servers are all very friendly and helpful. I appreciated their attentiveness and sharing what they like best, especially for what's in season based on the time of year. The menu has quite a bit of variety too which is sometimes unexpected when you come to a pub-style location. For appetizers we got Onion Ring and Fried Pickles. They were both really good and served with dipping sauces. Definitely both shareable items so if you're in a group they'd be great options! My entree I chose the Wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon served with lemon soy marinade, creamy cucumbers, and jasmine rice -- it was SO good!! I loved the creaminess of the cucumbers especially with the rice and than the lemon soy marinade was just a unique touch to the salmon. Toned the flavors down without overpowering acidity. And the salmon was so dreamy, a beautiful pink color that you just knew it wasn't a farm raised salmon. Plus the portion was very generous!! I'd definitely recommend the Alaskan Sockeye Salmon to anyone interested in visiting here. #eatwildsavewild The only negatives (which are more so just knowledge bombs for you): * Restaurant is VERY loud. It's hard to hear because it is one small room that everyone plus the bar is in. I wished I would have took a picture to show what I mean. Just know that if it's an intimate setting you're looking for this is not the place. So be prepared to talk loudly over the loudness and ask "excuse me?" or "repeat that" many times throughout your visit because you're not going to hear everything. * Timed eating. Because this place is a hit with limited seating, once you get a table and complete your meal/payment you'll kindly be asked to leave so that they can clean up and open the table to next in line. Totally get that and am not put off by this at all, but I could see how it could catch some folks off guard especially if you are out for a meal with folks you may not see frequently-- so just keep that in mind. This is not the place to sit and talk post meal. * Parking is limited. Be prepared to walk a few blocks as the road parking in front of the business is pretty limited especially with the other stores and restaurants in the area. Regardless of those few bullets I highly recommend folks visit George & The Dragon. It's a really cool spot and the food was great! Plus theirs a malt shop right next door that looks yummy too, so definitely worth visiting and getting malts after for dessert.
