In a nutshell- I'm kinda addicted. I tried not to be but I really enjoy it. At first I made an…read moreintro appt online. It didn't go through for some reason but when I showed up they easily accomodated me an hour later. We went through some exercises to see how flexible and strong I was.... I think I sorta pulled a shoulder/trap muscles for throwing 14lb wall balls. That's way more than my 10lb bowling ball but I did fine overall and Ellen determined I was more than ready to start the basic foundation one month class. It was a small group of us and we went twice per week and learned good form and how to do all the different exercises. We didn't like how you had to pay $65 to make up a class if you missed one so I didn't miss any. Here's my thoughts: Simple yet effective workout equipment Back to basics, strength and good overall health Nice knowledgeable instructors Competitive spirit - great people Expensive but pushes me to a level that I cannot achieve on my own Worth it? It's my health and fitness

Not sure when I'll be back in the area, but when I am I'll definitely drop in again. This is a good box!

I signed up for the one week trial and had a great time! I was only able to attend four classes,…read morebut enjoyed each one. The instructors were really helpful and gave me some modification options. It would probably help to have some background knowledge of common lifts, but the instructors show the movements and they play on video screens if you need it. Everyone attending was generally in their own zone, so there isn't a lot of chatting because you really focus on getting the exercises done in the set times. I will say that the classes go by super quickly because you're always moving. Cons: The programming is set for the whole month. So each day of the week has its set program and you do that each week for the whole month. For me, this would get old (I really need variety). On the plus side, it does mean you get to see active gains throughout the month. The membership plan is a little pricey. I get why it costs so much, since they do have to cover rent and you only really attend during the class sessions. It isn't a type of gym where you just drop in when you want to use certain equipment. The unlimited monthly membership is $299, but in reality you are getting 30 or 31 classes depending on the month. Since the classes are the same all day, it is unlikely you would do two classes in a day, right? So the pricing is about $10/class if you do the unlimited monthly pass and you go every day. Some of the equipment was pretty smelly. I was at one station that honestly made me gag a little... I think the bench or maybe the dumbells had never been thoroughly cleaned with a bleach solution.

Always a great workout, well maintained facilities and the community is great. Highly recommend.read more

Eric and Simon are outstanding instructors--always respectful of modifications while still inspiring you to push further with their encouragement and challenges. I started here a month ago and I'm so happy I finally convinced myself to try it. The coaches make…read morethe workouts fun yet challenging for everyone, no matter what their fitness level. How they modify the exercises for ALL members is the best part. For me, they give me suggestions to make them more challenging. For others, they'll have them lower the weights and do lower impact exercises to accommodate injuries and level of experience. Every workout is different, which keeps things interesting. The program is motivating and I can honestly say I get in just as good of a workout in 45 minutes here as I would in 1.5 hours on my own in a weight room. It's fast paced, but doable for everyone. The space itself is organized and clean. The members I've met are all friendly and the coaches are encouraging. This isn't an in-your-face bootcamp style gym. No intimidation tactics here! I can't recommend Foundry Fitness enough to anyone who wants to change up their boring, old workout routine or needs an extra kick in the butt.

I went to the gym to inquire about their training (personal) and everything seemed okay. I asked about pricing and exceptions The man in the front explained everything however what was not posted or even stated was their agreement rules. I was told that upon signing up I would receive a call to set up a day and time with the trainer; 299 for 4 weeks one day a week. When I signed up it was the beginning of the month ( February 2nd) strike 1 did not receive a call to schedule until a week later, strike two could not match schedules so I asked them to cancel my membership and because we could not find something that matches our schedules and I never was given services to refund me. They said in their agreement that they do not do refunds. Where is the agreement posted in their gym, and it was never sent to me. I literally had to search their website to find information. I disputed the transaction within my bank and lost...ok fine but now they say I owe 65 after multiple emails telling them I want nothing to do with company is crazy. This company is not honest, not transparent, and my experience has been the worst!

I attended my first class at Mayweather as I was considering becoming a member. I spoke with Travis…read morea few times on the phone about my options and he was super helpful with helping me understand what Mayweather has to offer. I got to class 15 minutes early as requested. There wasn't anyone at the front desk but I overheard an explanation being provided of to someone so I listened in. The space is an open room with cubbies for your belongings and then a front desk area with some retail and a few hi top tables. The class started at 12:10 and is shown on the television. The workout itself is a circuit that gets you to all of the stations including some strength work, cardio and ends with abs. I loved the strength and ab work and the music. Other than that I didn't care for the combination of the television guide, the 4 different types of boxing bags (I prefer the aqua bag) or the bright lights during the workout. The set-up reminded me of orange theory which wasn't for me the few times I tried it. I think 7-8 stations going at once was also too distracting for me. The instructor was really nice and did his best to check in on everyone but it wasn't enough for me, I couldn't keep up with all the competing voices and movements. If you're seeking a fast paced full body workout you should check out this location.
