As a lifetime lover of TGI Fridays, I am devastated to share a negative review. But as many people have said, this restaurant simply is not operating in a fair way to customers. First, although I'm a member of the rewards program (I LOVE TGIF!), our waiter told us that we couldn't get the free chips and salsa that reward members get. He said this despite the table tent stating otherwise. While our waiter was nice, he was utterly clueless about the menu. We had to explain to him the specials they had that weekend. Mistakes happen, but he wasn't even aware that the restaurant was running a special. Sadly, the worst part was the food. Absolutely disgraceful. My family waited over an hour for food, only to be served without utensils. We repeatedly asked for them and were ignored. My hungry children were forced to eat with their hands while servers and managers failed to do the bare minimum. I've never felt so disrespected at a restaurant. The lighting was a little dark, but overall clean and well maintained. Our waitress, Keyanya was very friendly and gave us genuine advice over the best menu items to order. She was charming and made our time delightful. The Juke box brought comfort to the meal. The spin dip was fantastic and so were the pretzel bites. What do you do when you leave the ER after 10pm on a random Thursday and haven't eaten all day? You go to TGI Friday's! After realizing nothing is open on my side of town or in Annapolis after 10pm, I did a quick search on my Yelp app and saw that Friday's is open until midnight. I placed an online order and we picked it up within 20 minutes. Quick and efficient service. When we got home and dug into our food it clicked...I forgot how delicious the whiskey sauce is! I clearly hadn't eaten it in a while and boy, it did not disappoint! The chicken tenders were bathed in that whiskey sauce and I was completely here for it! Even the fries were seasoned well. It was a quick no thrills type of meal, but it was also a really good meal! Thanks to Friday's for being the only decent restaurant open that time of the evening and for always being so clutch! From start to finish, the experience at this location was horrible. We came here after some Christmas shopping with our 18 month old, and were seated immediately. However, not a single server showed up for over 20 minutes to offer us drinks or anything, and it took another server noticing we were unattended to even attempt to find someone to help us. Once noticed, we put in our entire order to move things along, and it then took almost 40 minutes to even get a simple appetizer that was cold (so clearly just sitting in the kitchen without being checked on), at which point our server hastily said oh there's a delay and ran off, without any apology or any explanation for the delay. We were told we would have our appetizers comped half off, and that was it. Our server then consistently proceeded to tend to her other section as we watched her look at us and proceed to not check on us or apologize for the additional delays with our food. By the time any of our entrees came out, we asked for to go boxes immediately as we had been sitting well over an hour waiting on food. Our server at that point asked if we were in a hurry, which we just felt was an astonishing question considering anyone would be in a rush to get out of there when their food took forever to show up, while watching other tables seated before and after us get their food. At no point did any manager come up to personally apologize and our server seemed to realize she could actually tend to our table and move at a pace beyond sloth when we started asking for to go boxes and checks because we couldn't even eat our dinner there anymore with how delayed everything was. We even had to ask to have our check adjusted because the "comped" appetizers was not even marked. The restaurant wasn't even packed. There is no excuse for this level of failure. If the server was training, that could have been noted. If the kitchen was moving slow that could have also been noted, although that would be hard to believe as every other table was receiving their meals. If the manager did not properly section out the table to server ratio that could have also been explained or noted. None of this was done. Overall - will never return to this location. We thought it would be nice to pop in for a quick meal and we were sorely mistaken. read more

Okay! We road out here to this particular TGIF because of the rating. My first issue was there was only 2 people working. It caused the service to start off slow. Let me mention it was about 2pm when we arrived. My second issue was, everything I asked for, they did not have. 1. Voodoo Ranger 2. Fried string beans 3. Truffle tots 4. None of the crispy rice/sushi roll stuff. So then I was like I'm sure you have steak. I'll take the New York strip medium well. That steak was so tough. I couldn't eat it. I had a few bites. Figured I would try and take it home and do something to make it edible. It didn't have much flavor either. My salad was nice and fresh. The broccoli was nice and fresh and green and cooked right, the rice was good. Our server, poor young lady I think her name was Desiree. I cannot remember, I apologize. She was great and I knew not to let her have it. It's not her fault. Honey when it came time to tip, I told her she deserves her 20% but the place deserves zero! Lucky the place doesn't get a tip. So Annapolis Fridays, I now know I am not a fan of Fridays anymore. I haven't gone to one stateside in years because of food and service, but my cousin had this 30% coupon thank the Lord. Due to city COVID restrictions, all the restaurants closed at 10pm. Everywhere else's kitchen closed at 8:30 or 9P but Fridays stayed open until 9:30p, thankfully. Mango flavoring in alcohol tends to be thick so it was very prominent. Would order it or the Strawberry Henny Lime again. -Bucket of Bones: Good! The food came out super hot and the ribs were tender. I rarely get ribs but the flavor was really delicious and the meat was falling off the bone. The chicken was okay, I was talking and didn't get a chance to taste them while hot. But the sauce on the wings was good. If I ate them hot they would probably be delicious. The fries had a good season on them. I was shocked because I normally don't eat many fries. -Side Salad (forgot to take a pic!): Very hefty side salad. I ordered it dry (no dressing) and the vegetables seemed to be really fresh. Love the crunch I get from a good fresh salad. Came with croutons and shredded cheese. Overall decent meal for having nowhere else to go. Very clean and friendly environment. We stopped by after some shopping for a later evening meal and it didn't disappoint. Our server was really sweet and funny and brought everything out quickly. The kitchen did a great job because every part of the meal was cooked perfectly, was nice and hot, and really seasoned well. We started with spinach & artichoke dip and the signature whiskey glazed sampler of shrimp, ribs, and chicken tenders. It was so delicious. I love the whiskey glaze and even the smell is enough to convince you to give it a try. I ordered the signature whiskey glazed burger (and you may not be surprised) and it was huge! It was piled high with plenty of red onion, lettuce, tomato, crispy bacon, and had the sauce on the side. I liked that since I would pour just the amount I wanted and I used it for my fries too. By the way, their fries are SO good! We could barely wait until they cooled off enough to eat. The seasoning is just right. My husband ordered chicken tenders and said they were delicious. Nothing special here- the atmosphere is about the same as any casual American restaurant like Applebees or Chilis. The food is okay, but certainly nothing to rave about. If you have a big appetite, unlimited appetizers for $12 is the way to go. My favorites are the potstickers and mozzarella sticks. Everyone in my group had leftovers, so the portions are pretty big. I haven't been in a while and it was a rainy Friday night and it was close. My daughter and I walked in and were promptly seated. I ordered the ribs and she ordered the Mac & cheese burger which was a special burger topped with what else a Mac & Cheese ball shaped like a patty and placed on top of one's burger. The ribs were ok they were fresh but bland not great just ok the fries were not hot on either plate but my daughter gave her burger a 6 out of 10. The burger was cooked properly but also lacked flavor.
