Spinach dip
Clara A.

I love CPK. The last time I came here I had the chicken piccata but this time I had their pizza and it was so good. With thin crust it tasted amazing. The spinach dip was good as well. We were seated fast, our waiter took a while to get our orders but he took them. He was kind enough to take away a drink we didn't like.

Greek pizza in the menu.

The last 6 to 8 times we have been at CPK in Annapolis we have had issues. I've had to call over the manager and complain multiple times. Tonight is the straw that broke the camels back. We ordered the new Greek pizza and what came out was nothing like the picture in the menu. It looked like a store-bought cauliflower crust. Like a giant cracker. There was no sauce. There was no cheese and it had a few random vegetables on it. We sent it back and ordered the margarita pizza and then we asked for the manager who took the pizza off the bill. The food has gone downhill. They don't havea lot of ingredients. The food is not as fresh or good as it used to be. It doesn't seem like there are any professional cooks in the kitchen making the food. It's taking 90 minutes to 2 hours to have a meal for four people. I won't be going back. And I was a huge fan for many years, I'd rather spend my money at other restaurants that care. The pictures I have attached is the picture of the pizza in the menu versus what we received. Who would serve that. Service is slow. Food has declined a lot.

OMG! I had such a good time tonight. Jennifer gave me great service up at the bar. I absolutely love the Dynamite Shrimp and you can never go wrong with the butter cake. The drinks were amazing. Nice and strong, that's how I like them! The vibe was chill. I love the atmosphere up at Annapolis Mall. It's always a good time.

Thai Chicken Pizza & Thai Salad

I remember really loving CPK years ago in a different location, but this one just didn't hit the mark. I sat at the bar to avoid the long wait for a table. There were only two others sitting there. The bartender originally greeted me very quickly but then stopped coming over. I ordered the non-alcoholic cucumber drink but did not receive it until much later when I asked if my food would be out soon. He didn't apologize for forgetting, and did not make it right away. The food (Thai Chicken Pizza & Thai Crunch salad) too much longer than I expected to come out. They looked good but both were incredibly bland. The bread of the pizza was over cooked & dry. The salad lacked dressing and I struggled to get the bartender's attention. I didn't finish either. A pair sat near me and we shared some laughs about how hard it was getting the bartender's attention, so I doubt it was anything personal. I went to find a waiter to pay my check and leave. All around- would not return. But the drink was pretty good!

I dunno.

This place has gone downhill.. The restaurant is clean, the service is good, fast, but the food is bad . What happened? The menu items aren't very good IMO. They used to offer better selections. So I had the burger. Note: your only option is Well Done. What they gave me was definitely overly well done almost burnt. It was dry and too salty. Awful. The fried potato side was good but that was it. Too $. Won't be back.

First time coming to one of these and pretty impressed! I used to have one of these places near where I live but I never bothered to go. That location has since closed or moved to another location. I ended up In Annapolis to meet a friend and we ended up in Annapolis mall. The service was quick and the food was great. I got a combo meal with salad and pizza and everything was super fresh. I also got a mixed non alcoholic drink with turmeric which also tasted pretty good. Overall, this is definitely a location to visit if you are inside the mall.

Deserves a 3.5/5 but went with 3 on here. Favorite pizza here is the Sicilian thin crust. Favorite salad is the Italian chopped.

Service- Great polite and attentive Food- Lettuce wraps were delicious. I also really enjoyed rhe cheeses in my 5 cheese pizza. Usually when I get this type of pizza the combination of cheeses almost makes the pizza bland but they used a great combination in this one/ its extra cheesey for sure! Atmosphere- Typical to the mall, nothing too fancy

I've walked past this CPK about 100 times at the mall and have never eaten there. Finally, we were nearby and needed to eat something that was easy to walk into for my father at his age. We were able to park in the handicap parking and it was a close walk from the car. We had a nice table that wasn't too loud from music or people. My father can't hear her well. The service was prompt and the waitress was friendly. The menu was a bit overwhelming - I think I had 3-4 different menus - just for me! One was for pizza, other for drinks and I forgot what the other two were for. The pizza was awesome and delicious. It was a nice quiet dinner on a cold Thursday night. It worked out well. I'm glad we went.

We didn't have to wait long as a family with a baby was about to leave. I looked around and the space is modern and clean. There is a bar area that is well lit and inviting if I was dining by myself. The menu isn't your typical Italian menu. There was a chicken fried tofu appetizer, steak frites, smash burgers and snakehead. I don't know what snakehead is so ai went with the catfish carbonara, my friend had the steak frites and my other friend had the Brussel sprouts appetizer and pear salad. We also shared a bottle of red wine. Our dessert was a deconstructed sundae with cannoli bits and delicious. Our server was Brendan and he was fantastic. He answered our questions and checked in and chatted with us for a bit. Highly recommend this restaurant.

For a restaurant with a full bar, it was surprising they had no mezcal and were supposedly out of top-shelf bourbon, yet still served me a drink that tasted overly sweet and nothing like the premium bourbon I ordered. Another letdown was the lack of bread service. Other J. Alexander's locations usually serve croissants, so having none available took away from the experience. The food didn't make up for it either. The steak lacked flavor and felt low quality for the price. The "fried chicken platter" was basically oversized chicken tenders marketed as an entrée, and the mac and cheese was watery and bland instead of rich and creamy. Overall, the experience felt inconsistent and poorly executed. Between the missing staples, questionable bar service, and underwhelming food, this location did not feel worth the cost.

Unfortunately, he's the only fan. I feel sooo bad being so critical so I'll make it quick. The decor/ambience is so uncomfortably in need of renovation (the wood paneling, sectional seating, and carpet, for starters). They're known for their crab cakes which did NOT disappoint (according to those who ordered them) and TWO THUMBS UP on the salad bar ... which we ALL absolutely appreciated. However, the other food was mediocre and the attached pics prove the simple, low effort, dive-bar quality. It wasn't a total wash tho'! Their portions are respectable. The birthday boy LOVED the carrot cake buttt, the scallops, green beans, crab dip and fried chicken were declared unseasoned and the rockfish bites (strips) were salty. The Chardonnay had vinegar undertones. The Tito's shot was $20 but this is not the type of establishment which can justify charging that!
