First you have a level so your expectations because this is a TGI Friday. So it isn't fine dining. However, I did have my fair share of issues. The first one being that there are fruit flies all over the restaurant, which is gross and not appetizing. Also not conducive for a meal because they are constantly flying around while you're trying to eat. I actually ordered my food to go and my issue was that it took forever for them to create it. There might have been 10 total people in the restaurant when I placed my order and it took 40 minutes for a simple meal for one person. No complications or add ons. The staff was nice and the manager accommodated me, however it wasn't the best experience. Worst Fridays I've been to. And I've been to many locations. The bathroom floor was so sticky, my flip flop came off of my foot walking in. It was apparent the restrooms are neglected. Which begs the question, how clean is the kitchen? The server was friendly and checked back regularly. The menu was limited and didn't have some of the traditional items, like French onion soup and jack Daniels chicken and shrimp. I ordered the classic Friday's combo. That should have been a safe bet. The wings were tiny and over fried. The sauce was good, but the bones of the wings crumbled and went in my mouth when i took a bite. I've eaten many, many wings and that has never happened. They were basically inedible. The potato skins, which they are "famous" for, were definitely frozen. They might have been potatoes in 2013, but have probably been frozen since. The mozzarella sticks were ok. Hard to mess those up. Service good. Food bad. Won't go back, especially with plenty of other options in the area. Corporate needs to pay a visit here. read more

I went with a friend yesterday, Sunday, November 5 to this location. The dining room was closed. Only the bar was open. I should have better read the menu to see that the burgers were char- broiled. Unfortunately, I don't like the taste of charcoal, so my bad. Service was slow and incomplete. We never did get our entire order and the wait person was never at the table long enough to ask My friend ordered chicken tenders and got four shriveled up, overcooked strips of chicken. We have been to this TGI Fridays twice and will not go back. Most of the staff are rude and lazy, and the managers don't seem to care. We went there last night for my birthday and ended up leaving without eating. The employee at the front desk was rude. He told us the wait was 15 minutes. About 40 minutes later, I asked him what was going on. He said "I don't know" in a rude voice and then walked away. We then talked with a manager. When the manager asked the front-desk employee why we had not been seated yet, he claimed that the front-desk tablet was not working and that he had no idea when he could seat anyone. Seriously? When I asked him why he had not told us this when he put us on the waiting list, he stormed off, and the manager just stood there and let him storm off. The manager than told us that we were "first in line" but that it would be another 15-20 minutes before we could be seated. They had numerous empty tables all over the place. While we had been waiting, at least 12 people had finished eating and had left the restaurant, so I didn't understand why there was such a delay. We decided to leave and take our money elsewhere. My husband ordered a burger with fries and they gave him a burger with im not sure what. I wish I could've gotten a picture. It was extremely unappetizing. The burger was soggy and did not taste right. I got a medium rare 6oz sirloin with grilled shrimp. Didn't come with the shrimp and the steak was over cooked as pictured. My fork couldn't even go through it. And my mashed potatoes had a film over them like they'd been sitting out a while. The broccoli was mushy. But the garlic sauce the food came with was weird and salty. My food came out at least 25 minutes after my husband and son got theirs. So I just sat there. My son got the kids sliders with a side of broccoli. His food was fine. he liked the broccoli. The appetizer we got were just the mozzarella sticks and they were pretty good. We also only got 1 drink each. No refills, the waitress was quick to leave each time so we couldn't really ask for some. Zero stars. Avoid. First time, I stopped in for a drink and ordered an old fashioned. I wasn't looking for perfection, and I could tell I wasn't going to get it from the fact that I waited for about 15 minutes while the staff putzed around. I also wasn't too mad when they served me a whiskey sour with enough triple sec to cause diabetes, and charged me four dollars. But when I ordered takeout, the food was cold, old, and incomplete. Potato skins felt like chewing rubber, kind of like when food has been sitting out for over a day. Ordered "Nashville hot" wings -- totally bland and no resemblance to Nashville hot chicken. I received blue cheese instead of ranch, which wasn't a big deal because I had no celery to dip in it, despite celery being pictured in the menu. Probably a good thing because the celery probably would have been limp and rubbery given the overall quality of this meal. Ordered buffalo sauce on the side but they left it in the bottle at the restaurant. The only thing that was of acceptable temperature and freshness was the soda, and that's because it was basically a 12 oz plastic cup of ice that I paid $3.50 for. Actually, everything I got was overpriced. I'm really hoping the owners of White Oak Village knock out some of these garbage chains and put in some quality so I don't have to drive into the city or West End for everything. Our first time visiting this location. The entire experience was horrible! Food took forever to arrive plus it was cold! I never received my food because it was remade three times due to inaccuracies of my order. I ended up walking over to Qdobas to get my meal. The restaurant was not busy at all! I'd like to say that I understand that the stress of Valentine's Day compiled with Coronavirus can make anyone who works in a restaurant weak in the knees but tonight's food and service was far beyond being excusable for any reason. Place my order sometime around 6:20pm for curbside pickup, I'm told on the app it'll be ready at 7:00pm and once I arrive to tell them I'm there, enter in parking number and they'll bring it out. I send my husband up there, no pickup places to park, no biggie, I'll inform them there's no more spots and let them know exactly where he's parked. He waits maybe 15 minutes and decides to go inside. Not a single person around to even ask if the order will be ready within the decade. Eventually he did talk to someone... several times... long story short it seems our food was somehow over looked for 2 whole hours because once my husband got home it felt like our food had quite literally been refrigerated and we only live an 8 minute drive away. My fiancé had an edible drink though. Then we had classic fridays combo, which wasn't the worst, but not the best we've had. Our entrees were the absolute worse though. I had gotten the bacon ranch chicken sandwich and my fiancé had gotten a Nashville hot chicken sandwich. He didn't even eat half of it, maybe like 1/4 of his sandwich. For my sandwich, I only ate the lettuce, avocados, and chicken. But the chicken wasn't that great. Tasted like frozen chicken that they had heated back up. All in all, the food wasn't that great. We just wanted an easy, quick lunch on our way home from the river. We should've realized something was off when we walked into the Very Cold, nearly-empty restaurant and were seated Right Next to a woman having a contentious discussion on speakerphone with her baby-daddy. With said baby loudly begging for momma's attention-and calling momma 'ugly'. I tried to order a lunch combo (French onion soup and a lunch sized salad), and was told the soup (a printed menu item) was not available. Since I didn't want a house salad and a lunch sized salad for my combo (they have very limited combo offers), I ordered the chipotle chicken salad ($12). Big mistake. The salad tasted like a salt block. I think I found three shreds of cheese, and had two small sightings of what appeared to be avocado. The 'chipotle' chicken was ice-cold and so salty I couldn't even take the uneaten portion as a snack for my dogs. Not to mention the texture of the chicken was mushy. Even the 'tortilla' pieces were Beyond stale. I couldn't, wouldn't eat it. Husband's lunch combo looked like they had pulled it out of a vat of grease...the same stuff they must use to mop the floors, which were somewhat sticky-slick. We got the check and left, full portions remaining on the table. Something we've never done, we simply could not get out fast enough. Needless to say, we won't be back. No way, no how. This place is kind of a mess. I've been to quite a few Friday's locations, and I'm afraid this ranks among the worst of them. Parking was a bit hard to find in the busy lot, though my friend and I managed. We were greeted by the hostess who, judging by the speed of her ability to seat us at an empty table, was new to the location. In fact, many of the employees I interacted with that evening seemed new. That should be your first warning sign: poor-performing restaurants have high employee turnover, and thus new employees on a near-constant basis. We waited a while for our server to come over, and when she did she seemed to be in a great rush (a surprise, since from my observation she didn't appear to have more than two tables including us). We made our drink order and she returned with it shortly. We placed our orders (the make-your-own burgers) and I showed her my Friday's card, which is what I've always presented to get the complimentary chips and salsa. She didn't read our order back to us or acknowledge the card and, as expected, no chips came, nor did she make any callbacks before the entrees arrived to allow me to ask for some. Shame. When the food arrived, both of our orders were incorrect. The server didn't even notice this despite delivering the food herself, and she apologized when we pointed out the issues. It took about 10 more minutes to fix the orders, and she got us some refills after the fixed orders were brought to us. The sole positive part of this evening was that the food, once corrected, was excellent. It was clear the orders had been expedited in the kitchen (cheese wasn't fully melted), though it was still delicious and the ingredients tasted fresh and flavorful. A manager stopped by to ask how our experience had been, though decided to do so as our server was almost right next to him, ruining the chance for any constructive criticism to be conveyed. Another employee we hadn't seen before this point brought us a to-go container despite the fact that we were both done with our food. Thanks? Finally we received the check, and I offered her the coupon code from my phone and a manager had to run her through the process of how it worked. We were glad to be paid and out of there. Bottom line, the food at Friday's is actually good, and the coupons offered here make it very affordable, though the poor service makes you wonder if trips here are worth it. We divided to go there for some beers and to watch the Celtics vs Clev game, place was 400 feet from our hotel, also to grub something. Upon entering the establishment we were greeted by these 2 friendly ladies, and we let em know we just hanging out at the bar area. When we open the door, there was a really weird smell... Not exactly sure what it was, dried up beer? Sour rag? Vomit? Asiago cheese? All of those combined? Who knows!?! I just know that it was overpowering! I even mentioned to one of the bartenders at the bar area, she said I don't smell anything. We got our beers and the game was going on. They obviously put the food under a heat lamp until we were ready which rendered it lukewarm when finally delivered. Drink refills....forget about it.
