Elias berries Elias fruit, fruit district LA

If I could give a 0, I would. 1ST) The strawberries are not organic. If you look on their site, it states they are out of organic. 2ND) They can't even list the farm and location the bairies come from 3RD) 108 of a flat of strawberries is RIDICULOUS 4TH) I'm pretty sure they go to the fruit district in LA and buy them in bulk, they're closed Sundays just like the fruit district...at the fruit district it's $22 a flat! I know because after realizing how much they were upcharging in OC, I found out they were buying from the fruit district, and now I only buy from there. Fruit district is open from 2am-11am go to Elias fruit he'll hook you up! They sell all kinds of fruit exotic fruit herbs, so many vendors in 1 spot and cheap!

1/3 of the half flat went to waste!

Awesome strawberries for Easter dinner. Pricey but so big and juicy for a special occasion.

This seems to be one of the average-sized yet spacious TJ's I've been to, and it has most of the daily and featured items in stock. It gets pretty busy at times, as does the parking lot. The staff is friendly and helpful when needed. I appreciate that they have live cashiers and not self-checkouts. Prices are also good to average. A few personal favorites: - The freshly prepared food and salads - Organic fruits and veggies - The variety of pressed juices, probiotic drinks, and wellness shots - A nice selection of wine, beer, and spirits - Plenty of snacks (chips, salsas, dips, etc) - A good variety of meats, cheeses, and frozen items. - Can't forget the skin and health care needs. Some real winners for a fraction of the cost of big-name brands. ie. Vitamin C Serum and Daily Facial Sunscreen that my family loves. - Complimentary samples Depending on what I want to eat or cook at home, TJ's can provide most of what I need. There are some great items I've bought and will buy again, but there are also some disappointments. Overall, I like to shop at TJ's on the regular and am looking forward to the next trip.

In the early mornings, they are stocked with the mini totes at the time I went in December 2025. I came again during Valentines day and they came PREPARED. An over abundance of flowers were placed outside and really based on honor system for you to go inside and pay as there are no employees outside monitoring it. This Trader Joe's is almost always stocked and everyone working there is super friendly. If I lived near here, I would definitely come back here often. There is plenty of parking and so many shops nearby for more shopping! 10/10 would recommend.

The Cerritos Farmers Market on Saturday mornings is by far the best one I have found. They have an outstanding selection of fruits and vegetables, including specialty vegetables. Just like the Irvine Farmers Market there is also a pretty good selection of Asian produce. One large vendor had a very long line, but there are others to choose from. Make sure you walk the entire market, because prices and quality differ from vendor to vendor. There are a few food vendors, with the tamale vendor having the longest line. You'll also find the same sourdough bread sold across all the farmers markets and I even saw fresh fish. I arrived around 9am and it was somewhat busy. There is plenty of parking available. Bring cash, you'll avoid the 50 cent transaction fee that most charge. I'll definitely make this a repeat stop. I also loved that Trader Joe's is right across the street in the Cerritos Towne Center. I got all my shopping done at once. I hope that this farmers market continues to grow. I did have to Google the directions, since i discovered that the Yelp directions are incorrect.

It's literally hidden and it's a gem, but you can find Argentinean pastries with dulce de leche, South American wines, Picanha and Tomahawk steaks, and you can get the same empanadas and chimichurri that they have on the menu at the restaurant. For $4, I bought a strawberry tart that had homemade whipped cream and dulce de leche. It was very nice! I also think that the costs are very reasonable as you could get a tomahawk for under $60, picanha steaks for $10, and empanadas for under $4 if you buy in bulk (but for $4 if you don't). Yes - you have to cook them yourself, but it's worth it if you got some skills and if you want to do things your way! I think that I'll definitely consider coming here for a tomahawk or two! If I don't want to cook, then I'd go next door to the Gaucho Grill!
