    Mango sticky rice

Popped my head in here for a quick sweet treat. I got the mango sticky rice and it definitely fulfilled my sweet cravings. It's on the sweeter side, but great nonetheless.

It was good Thai food for sure, but I've had better in the DC area. The chicken satay was pretty good with the peanut sauce, while the pad see ew with chicken was just OK. Small place with only a couple of workers and you will probably be the only one there.

    Yellow curry fried rice. Delicious

Amazing food. The best chicken satay, yellow fried curry rice, and mango sticky rice in town. I tried other places, but I always come back here. Simply the best, and good prices

This restaurant is downstairs and easy to miss but there is a street sign. The restaurant could use a little renovation but it is quiet and feels a bit like "home". The food comes out quickly even when it is busy. The owner and servers are very welcoming and attentive. The amount of food you get for the price is remarkable. The Vegetable Spring Rolls were a good appetizer to get us ready for the main course. Pineapple Fried Rice has a combination of Chicken and Shrimp and they are generous with what they put in the Fried Rice. The Crispy Chicken could have used a bit more flavor with the sauce along with being a bit more "crunchy/fried". We will be back soon.

$67 for three entrees and an appetizer AND 20% tip? Sign me up! Thai and Time Again is a groovy little spot with friendly staff and fun artwork. If you're looking for a no frills experience, I'd recommend it! We (3) stopped by around 6:30 on a Friday and it wasn't too busy so snagging a table was easy. We tried a little of everything - an appetizer, a noodle dish, a curry, and a protein. We split the spring rolls and they're quite small, but served very, very hot (in a cute lil basket, to boot!) and they tasted delicious. Personally, I had the pad see ew with chicken. This dish was fresh, of a fair size, and beautifully arranged with perfect ratio of protein: noodle: vegetable. I wish it had Chinese broccoli but it was still a hit! All of the ingredients were fresh. I left feeling satisfied, not overly full or heavy. I'll definitely be back!

Thai and Time Again - A True Hidden Gem in Woodley Park What started as a beloved Arlington food truck has grown into one of DC's most authentic Thai dining experiences--and boy, are we lucky. Thai and Time Again brings the heart and soul of Thailand right to Woodley Park. From the moment you walk in, the warm, family-run atmosphere and inviting décor set the tone. The spices and flavors are spot-on--bold, balanced, and deeply satisfying. Every dish feels like it was made with love and tradition. Whether you're craving something spicy or comfortingly savory, you'll find it here. It's a fantastic dine-in experience, but just as perfect for takeout when you want a delicious Thai meal at home. And don't forget to leave room for the mango sticky rice--perfectly sweet, creamy, and the best way to end your meal. Support this family-run treasure--you'll taste the difference.

I love Soft shell crab dish, so yummy, fresh and large amount even only 1 crab serve with white steamed rice and the service was great, medium space for lower level like private ambiance.

An adorable little restaurant not too far from the National Zoo and a very short walk from Woodley Park-Zoo Metro station. My main reason for writing this review is to highlight the Thai Tea they have. Hands down the best Thai Tea I've found in the DMV. Bonus points for being less than five dollars for a large cup and for the adorable emoji like covers for the top of the cup. Anytime I'm in the area, I will pop in, even if it's just for a drink... I mean even if I've already eaten someplace else (admittedly there are a lot of great places to eat in that area), I will still at least get a Thai Tea here. The staff is always very friendly and the service is great, so worth checking out if you are craving Thai.

    Chicken Pad See Eew

My go-to Thai spot! Food is consistently delicious-- the chicken pad see ew being my favorite. They have a wonderful lunch deal too. Check them out next time you're craving Thai food, you won't be disappointed!

A great new Thai restaurant in Woodley Park! The staff are super nice, and the restaurant is very cute. I was very impressed with the flavor of all of the dishes! The Tom Yum soup was the perfect umami dish for a cold and rainy day. The drunken noodles were cooked to perfection, and the Kai Yang Namtok had a great spicy kick with some nice grilled chicken thigh as well. I thought the food was definitely a little on the pricier side, especially the Kai Yang Namtok, but the flavors were perfect. Online orders of more than $20 come with a free vegetable dumpling--also delicious! Definitely give this new place a try!

After walking around for an hour, we came back, but the receptionist informed us that no tables were available yet. Despite the heavy wind, they made us wait outside again. We were finally seated after a total wait of an hour and a half, while some other walk-ins got tables instantly. The terrible service continued inside. The table next to us had ordered 15 minutes before us and was still waiting for their food. It took another 45 minutes for our food to arrive--and that was only because I nudged the staff after 30 minutes of waiting. I've been to many American, European, and Asian restaurants, but none have ever been this slow. Price-wise, the portions were small and the flavor fell short compared to standard Thai restaurants. My husband and I had Pad Thai, seafood Tom Yum, and a platter of boiled vegetables with spicy dipping sauce and sticky rice. The vegetables were overcooked. The Tom Yum cost $30 for a small bowl that could barely feed one person (usually enough for two elsewhere), and it tasted like clam soup with zero lime leaf aroma. The tofu in the Pad Thai was bone-dry and crumbly. To top it all off, the restroom floor was soaking wet due to a leak. On top of that, the restroom was not only soaking wet but also inexplicably freezing, making me feel like I was using the toilet in the middle of a windy ocean. Will definitely not be back.

You can really taste the caramelization. And the large shrimp were velveted which was made it extra satisfying to eat. Also a good shareable portion size! Muu Som: 4/5 this was super rich and heavy. Would get this again only to share with a larger group. Loved that it came with sticky rice. Mango sticky rice: 4/5 delicious but in my opinion didn't need the ice cream on top (my boyfriend thinks otherwise though). Very large portion as well. Corn coated in a thin layer of tempura batter, fried until crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, showcasing its natural sweetness and slightly chewy texture. It was somewhat like a Chinese yumi-lao玉米烙 but more moist. The most surprising thing was that despite being entirely vegetarian food, it has the sweetness and meaty texture of fried shrimp paste. The sweet and sour sauce is similar to the Thai sweet chili sauce commonly found in China, but thinner. Served in a small cup, it looked like a cup of black tea, making it more refreshing. Grilled Pork Neck: Very different from pork neck in Chinese Thai cuisine; it's more like Cantonese char-siu叉燒. The pork neck was very well marinated and grilled to a very tender perfection, with a rich and smooth honey aroma, and a subtle wine aftertaste, but it was slightly too sweet for me. Nam Jin Jaew was primarily composed of the tangy kick of lime and the savory saltiness of fish sauce, complemented by the mild spiciness of bird's eye chili, the special fragrance of cilantro, and the sweetness of palm sugar, with a subtle hint of smokiness. It was refreshing on the whole, and incredibly layered - I fell in love with it instantly. Tom Saab Soup: It looked light, but it was surprisingly spicy and sour! The ribs were very fresh, all marbled with fat and lean meat, stewed until incredibly tender, allowing you to taste the natural aroma of the meat. The sourness was subtle, clear, and mild, with a base of lemongrass fragrance that added even more depth. My friend thoughtfully ordered it mildly spicy, but in the end, it just felt like it lacked a kick. Mango Sticky Rice: The best mango sticky rice I've ever had! The sticky rice was cooked to perfect texture and warmth, absorbing the coconut milk flawlessly - neither too watery nor too dry. The first taste was the fragrance of glutinous rice, followed by the sweetness of coconut milk, and a refreshing, slightly tart mango to cut through the richness. Thai Iced Tea: Too much condensed milk, excessively sweet. My friend said it was much sweeter than the last time she had it. Was this a change in the recipe, or did the quality control need improvement? Donsak is a district in Surat Thani, Thailand, and also the hometown of the restaurant's co-owner and manager, Boom, where she was born and raised. The restaurant's introduction states: "When she left for the US, Boom didn't know she wouldn't get to see her home again for many years - and she still hasn't. Donsak is a way around that."
