This place is a gem! It's in a shopping center but is big inside with plenty of seats. We started with the Thai Iced Tea which is flavorful, sweet, and creamy. We ordered Chicken Larb *spicy. Our waiter warned us that the spicy is very and it was, but still so flavorful and perfect heat for us. We also got the crab fried rice which was absolutely delicious, especially when we mixed it with the larb. We ordered Tom Kha Soup with seafood and were pleasantly surprised by how much seafood they included. Lastly, we got the pineapple curry *spicy with beef which had great flavor & heat, too. The ambiance was cute but it would be nice if they had more storage for their kitchen items. No alcohol either but the Thai Ice tea was great to take a little of the heat away We'll definitely be back!

It is important to revisit restaurants that have been superb in the past. I say this because one should not rest on your laurels and as for me, there is a desire to discover if eateries can keep up to the level that bestowed their past accolades. This is what brought me to Chutamas again. I must confess, I was surprised at what was about to unfold. What a difference 2 years can make. I ordered the famed Tamarind Fish. While it came out flaky and nice and crispy on the outside, it was so bland and the sauce lacked body and flavor. Thought I could fix it with the Thai Chilis and fish sauce. But that too was watery, minus the usual taste, with just a few pieces of Thai Chili and presented in a plastic container, the carry out version. Adding it to the fish imparted a more bitter and acidic tang to the dish. It was unmemorable. Then, to add insult to injury, the service, from start to finish, was unfriendly and conspicuously indifferent.

I really love their food but what makes them stand out is their service. Service is outstanding every time we go. They make you feel welcome and they are willing to go the extra mile to accomodate your needs. I love their garlic green bean chicken, oh my gosh those green beans are perfection!! The drunken noodles are realllly good, their panang shrimp curry was delicious, the chicken basil rice was okay. The service here is great the people running this spot are AWESOMEEE!! Very friendly and definitely know how to treat their customers. This place is located on Roscoe and Tampa in a small shopping center, parking can be hard to find. The ambience is good, very clean and simple. I have to say this is the best thai restaurant I've ever been to. Majority of all their dishes we have tried have been SOLID!!! I love their garlic green bean chicken, every time I order they usually recognize me and know what I'm ordering it's quite funny and cute. I love it! I would definitely recommend!

I've lived in this neighborhood forever and didn't know it existed. Was so excited to find myself a new Thai place. I tried drunken noodles for the first time, with no spice for me. It was the perfect size. A large portion with enough for leftovers for the next day. Also got myself. Thai tea which are my absolutely favorite. The server was so friendly. It was a rainy night so the place was pretty empty. They have lots of indoor dining options and a parking lot right in front. Will definitely be back!

The place is simple, clean, good space saloon. The service is really friendly and fast. The price is reasonable as many restaurants around the neighborhood. The food, one of the best Pad Thai I have been eating, and the fried rice was delicious too. Many to go orders.

The food was outstanding extremely bold flavors, perfectly balanced spices, and everything tasted fresh and authentic. The Pad Thai I ordered had that ideal sweet-tangy depth, the curry was rich and comforting, and the appetizers disappeared for way too fast. You can tell the kitchen knows exactly what it's doing. Service was on point friendly, quick, and attentive without hovering to much, The staff made great recommendations and really added to the experience. The vibe is warm and inviting, not overly fancy but still feels like a place you'd bring friends or even a date. Solid energy all around. If you're looking for high-quality Thai food with great flavor and service to match, this place is 100% worth trying. Definitely coming back to explore more of the menu.

For a fraction of the cost of most other fast casual food, it's tasty and the portions are very big. Not to mention they don't skimp on the protein in their dishes. Our usual go-to includes Pad See Ew with Chicken and BBQ Pork fried rice. But quite honestly we've never had a bad meal here. ALSO, as I've noted before -- great plastic forks. Not those flimsy ones that snap.

We were so hungry for Thai food and ordered about 3-4 items. Spoiler alert, we could not finish everything but it was all so good and delicious!!! I complemented my meal with a small Thai iced tea and it had a great blend with strong taste of their condensed milk. The plates were all so delicious and so good. I wanted beef jerky, a dish I always order from thai restaurants but I couldn't find it on the menu. Luckily there was such a thing when I ordered!!! The beef jerky was chewy and not super hard when I bit it. The meat was good quality, it was a bit like steak to be honest!!! The fried rice was also just regular order but it was so tasty, buttery, and yummy. I loved the honey roasted ribs because it was so tender and flavorful. The panang curry was also super super good. I don't usually enjoy curry like that because it gets too spicy but the mild level was perfect for my taste buds and so good and creamy with the chicken we ordered for it. The white rice it came with would be doused with the curry sauce/stew and it would just be an amazing combo of flavors!!!! I would definitely recommend this spot, and would be excited to come back here for more for even hangouts with friends.

Green and red bell peppers were flash sautéed with crunchiness, and onion slices caramelized with a touch of crispness, flecks of crushed red chiles. 2) Mi Krob: Towering Mound of thin rice noodles quick fried for crispy puffiness tossed in a sweet chile, thickened sauce. Fried dry Tōfu, bits of airy fried egg, pieces of shrimp, chopped green onions, red bellpepper slices, refreshingly watery crunchy bean sprouts. 3) Angel Wings: Pleasantly light, crunchy Panko Japanese bread crumb coating. The chicken meat filling in the deboned chicken wing is ultra puréed to the point it's a solid, gummy pâté where you can't distinguish the different ingredients. Cubed Cucumber sweet, acidic vinegar sauce, and sweet, thickened Thai chile sauce are the accompaniments. . 4) Pad Si Yu: Mostly similar ingredients as the Pad Ki Mao but without the aromatic Thai basil, and a sweet soy sauce is used for touch of fermented earthiness. Florets of al dente broccoli. To me, the flavours are duller than the exemplary Pad Ki Mao. Main dining room along with covered back patio seating. Wide window to view what's happening in the kitchen for tables near the front entrance. Good overall Thai food. 4- stars
