I was super hesitant to come try this place as I've been used to traditional Swedish massages. That being said my husband loves the back walking and said that they offered Swedish as well. I called booked a fusion massage for my husband and Swedish for myself and they were able to put us in the same room which was nice. The two women who greeted me were very nice and the inside of the business was tidy and clean. The reason for the four stars is because of the beds. This is one of my new favorite places! Everything about my experience was A+. Everyone was so kind and accommodating. The massage table is more like a thick mattress on the floor. I was asked if it was ok to walk on my back, and of course I wanted that. It was amazing what she can do with her feet. I asked for strong pressure, and that's what I got. I really enjoyed all the stretching too. After the massage, I was given fresh cut pineapple, water and hot tea served in a beautiful tea cup. I sat in the lobby and ate and sipped after the massage. The towels did not smell clean they smelled like oil and the towel on my n body had a feeling of oil from other customers. The whole time I worried they did not change to clean towels and my face was buried into someone who could have Covid 19. I can't be sure I was not set up for a possible exposure. I needed a massage after my vacation and honestly didn't know what to expect from Thai Body Works. All I know is I walked in on a Monday without a reservation and they took me straightaway. I don't remember who my masseuse was but I have her name on a card in my wallet. They give you a card to collect stamps each time you come in so you can work towards a free massage after your tenth visit. Pretty cool, if you go often. I opted for the 60-minute Thai massage but they offer Swedish and Deep Tissue here as well. You can do 45, 60, or 90 minutes and the price points reflect that. The Thai massage involves your back getting walked on, hence the bars above the massage bed. I wasn't sure how undressed I should be so I was left at my own discretion on that. She kneaded me and stretched me like a human pretzel. I asked for medium pressure and it might have been too hard. She started with my back, went down to my glutes, legs, and feet. She even went for my scalp and massaged my face which was my least favorite thing because she had been massaging my other body parts prior to that. I don't like it when people touch my face. Anyway, after she was done, she left me to get dressed and I walked out to the lobby and was given a slice of pineapple and tea. That was really nice! My boyfriend and I went (we both lift weights and workout hard 4-5 days a week) and got the Thai deep massage done by Susana and Joanne (hopefully I'm spelling their names right ) the staff are so wonderful and kind. I felt very relaxed and the massage eased the pain I was in. Was very easy to get a same day appointment. The ONLY reason I didn't give out a 5-star is because there is a small language barrier.
