Delicious Thai food! I had their Chicken Pho and it was good, a little salty but not bad. However their Pad See Ew is to die for. Very light seasoning with a hint of sweetness makes it so delicious! Server was amazing. It is a tiny place so in the evening it is not very crowded. Great place to go eat if you're looking for reasonably priced Thai food.

We came to Joshua Tree to celebrate a friend's birthday on a holiday weekend(12.28) , which meant large crowds and busy restaurants . We came here hoping to enjoy a meal. Our party of six walked in and were immediately and rudely told there was no room for us, I'm quoting the server " theres no room for you." We weren't asking to all sit together and were happy to be flexible- especially since we had been out exploring Joshua Tree all day and were hungry . There were a couple of empty tables, yet we weren't given a chance to explore our options. No greeting, no kindness, just dismissal. Being busy doesn't excuse being unkind and unprofessional. I'm sharing this experience in the hope that it reaches management and the server involved, so the issue can be addressed and future guests don't have a similar experience.

3 rows of tables, 6 seats each.

Everything was delicious. Friendly and attentive service, clean, and reasonably priced. Will come again.

I honestly don't think I've made a single desert trip without stopping in at least once. Part of it is the location. Pioneer Crossing Antiques is also nearby and was sadly closed this Wednesday, but I normally stop in whenever it's open. The proprietors are awesome and I always find something unique to take home. Food-wise, the lox bagel was a standout. Great ratio of cream cheese, capers, dill, thin-shaved red onion, plus a little side salad of arugula and radish that actually tasted fresh instead of feeling like decoration. The yogurt parfait was small but mighty, layered with berries and granola and substantial enough to feel like breakfast. Easy seating, dog friendly, and plenty of sandwiches and salads if you're not in a bagel mood. Tasty, fresh, quick, and just enough "we did something" energy before heading back to the Airbnb to relax and beat the heat.

Big fan of their cocktails which were pleasantly packed with flavor. I have no clue what broke down with the burgers: One member of our party ordered a burger and specifically asked for no cheese and what came out for her was literally a patty squeezed between two buns without any spreads or lettuce or even onions. Upon flagging one of the staff they fixed it immediately. I ordered a cheeseburger myself which thankfully came with everything you would expect, but despite that, it lacked flavor. So much so that I had add fries and ketchup intot he burger just to give it any taste. My sentiments were echoed by the other member in our party.

We missed our reservation time but decided to try a walk in because it was the whole reason we came into town in the first place. We were greeted by two really nice hosts who assured us there was room for us sooner than later and we were seated with our dog on the patio pretty quickly. They were so nice to us and doubly nice to our dog! We ordered fried eggplant, gazpacho, ceviche, a lamb burger, and got a lamb burger patty for the dog (we're not order food for the dog people but she was going through it too with the Walmart stuff so why not). We added a couple glasses of wine and their beer shandy and finished with a strawberry shortcake. Every bite was perfect but we rated them- Gazpacho, Lamb Burger, Eggplant, Ceviche. The gazpacho was a hit with the perfect amount of fresh/sweet cantaloupe and spicy-ness. This place was well worth the trip from Big Bear. My wife noted that everyone there that helped us legit looked happy to be there. There was also a medical emergency and the staff was so kind and helpful throughout and checked in on all the tables in the area afterwards. We got really lucky - reservations open a month in advance, and we were headed to Joshua Tree the next day. But I texted anyway, with an apology for it being so last minute, and they responded the day of confirming me for the next day! Yay! When we arrived, we asked for a seat inside, since it was super windy that day, and they were able to seat us within a few minutes. We got the butter lettuce salad (delicious), the socarrat (lots of peas and pea sprouts - this was AMAZING, and great the next day cold!), their version of bruschetta on their crispy thin bread - the bread was absolutely amazing. And we also got the tomato...um, I can't remember what it's called, but it has a base of sliced tomatoes, with hard boiled eggs, celery, and tuna aioli! Super refreshing on a super hot day. We also got a couple non-alcky drinks and left very happy. It was loud inside for sure - or, bustling, if we want to be more euphemistic. Service for us was a bit on the chilly side, but that might just be the night our server was having. There are 2 single-stalled bathrooms, and parking is very easy in the huge lot they have. I think we might circle back to this place after trying other eats around the area. This was a good time.

ANYWAY. We have been here a couple of times - will usually stop by here when we're in Joshua Tree. On Saturdays, there is a Farmer's Market in the parking lot, so it gets pretty crowded. This last time we went, I got an iced strawberry matcha, and my partner got the chai iced tea. Both with almond milk. They still charge a surplus for non-dairy, which feels so 2022. But anyway. The drinks were delicious. We also got an almond croissant, which doesn't look like much, but it was AMAZING. And then the quiches. Oh, the quiches. I had such high hopes for these, especially since we were primed with refreshing drinks and a tasty pastry. These quiches are muffin-sized, perfect for a light meal or a heavier snack, and they look super cute. They will heat them up for you. When we went, they had bacon cheddar and spinach feta. We got one of each. My friends, these were so disappointing. First, no flavor. We asked for ketchup or hot sauce to give it a bit of acid, because it was basically egg all the way through. Solid wall of egg that tasted like the powdered egg you get at one of those corporate conference catered breakfasts. I had one tiny sliver of bacon in mine, and my partner was playing hide and seek with the spinach, and the spinach was winning. The crust itself was rubbery and chewy, not flaky like I would expect a quiche to be. I mean, it was palatable and not super expensive. I'm just not sure if you're selling food, you want it to just be "palatable". Last time, we got a savory veggie pie, and that was pretty good, so they DO have good savory foods. I think the quiches were just a huge miss this time. Bathroom is clean and single-stalled. Parking is easy in the lot, and on Farmer's Market days, I mean, c'mon, it's Joshua Tree, it's not like there isn't space on the streets too.
