Passed it 100's of times in the past year and wondered why there were never any cars in the parking lot! Turns out it's take/out only (since C19). Well, I'm glad I took a crap shot ,and stopped by to check, because the food is very good. If they cleaned up the entrance (remove the taped up paper signs, and fixed the clapboard shingles) and put an "open" sign up, maybe peeps would not be hesitant to stop by? (They may even get more traction on yelp and GH) At any rate, I'd return again! read more

Have ordered from here a few times for takeout, as they have not reopened indoor dining since Covid. Food has always been flavorful and well priced. My favorites are the samosas and the drunken noodle (pad kee mao). Easy location with a large parking lot if picking up. read more

Excellent! A bit hard to find. Driving 7 north it's on the right hand side after power station . Were greeted promptly and seated quickly. Thought we'd have to wait, but dining room had one table left. When we left. Saw they had another dining room available. Menu was large. Liked the pictures. We ordered the tried and true, spring rolls, beef pad thai and drunken chicken. All excellent and large portions. I couldn't finish, so skipped desert. Heard the next table order fried ice cream, yum. Will have to try that next time. Service was very good. Waiter made sure our drinks were filled and our food was prepared quickly. I order Thai Charm when I am in need of not only nutritional sustenance, but fortitude and motivation. That may sound silly, but the blend of spices and various tastes, as well as the ample portions, give me the strength to go on. Thai Charm reminds me that food is so much more than just fuel. It is an infusion of joy into the every day. Just remember that they're closed on Tuesdays, and are only order-out! I do hope that dine-in returns, because the inside is exquisite. All in all, I'm just grateful they're still serving up their amazing dishes. They're my first choice for every birthday dinner, or when someone visits from out of town. read more

I really don't see why they can't supply a lunched-sized portion when ordering dinner. It's not like the place is packed and they need to turn tables for people paying more for dinner. There portions are gigantic, and if I'm going out afterwards (which I usually am) I have nowhere to take the leftovers. I must admit, though, the food is really good, but I can't go to establishment and pay for food I can't finish or take with me. They need to learn to work with the customer more. read more

This is a late post from an earlier visit. Everyone is super nice at the venue but disorganized. We haven't had a satisfying culinary experience and occasionally return to see if things have improved. On first visit when the location first opened over the winter, the host greeted us at the door then greeted the next party entering after us. He asked both parties about reservations- there were none, and he promptly sat the second party first. I could understand if theirs was a larger or smaller group but both parties were the same size. The room was brisk, everyone still kicking off lots of winter snow from their boots on the doorway rug on entry; we watched the seated party enjoying the heat of the fireplace while we waited. We were brought to a table when the host returned. Orders were taken, drinks brought to the table. My appetizer arrived but no others. My entree arrived when everyone else's appetizers arrived. The menu had shown a red spice pepper next to the entrée but on receipt the meal was not very spicy or flavorful. I never consume an entire meal portion but with this, left most of the meal on my plate. On another visit this summer brought a similar scenario with the appetizers. The entire table but one person received their appetizers. Theirs have been a special request to have that app without shrimp to make it a vegan option. We were curious how something would take longer to prepare because it was missing an ingredient. When the appetizer finally arrived, it contained chunks of tofu which my friend had to pull each roll apart to remove. Nice of them to add this but would have been better to check first - the friend doesn't eat tofu. Her dinner didn't arrive until well after the other meals had begun to go cold. No one had asked what level of spice for the meals. The duck dish another friend had ordered was covered in red pepper flecks. Mine again had a red pepper icon next to it on the menu and again had no discernible spicy heat. Perhaps they had used it all on the duck salad? read more

Tried the mango fish curry --crispy fried fish fillet surrounded by colorful slices of mango, bell pepper, onion and tomato in a pool of creamy red curry sauce. Delicious balance of different textures and flavors. Beautiful plate presentation and plenty of space for private conversation compares to Thai Delight in Newtown. Mediocre food. The recipes are clearly altered to fit the American palate. Springs rolls are from Costco and fried Calamari came from a bag. It's too obvious. I did enjoyed the Coconut soup. Definitely go for that over the Tom yum soup. I would avoid the Drunken Noodles. Lunch specials are reasonably priced. Decent protion sizes for the price. Not a bad place for a quick lunch. Keep your expectations to a very minimum. Service could be better but it looks like one person is handling all the front end work (host,waiter,server,cleaner) so I can understand the lack of attention paid to customers. read more

This place has seriously great food. I love Thai Food and this rating isn't on some sliding scale. Compare it to any place like Ave Hell's Kitchen in NYC and it holds its own imo. Not sure what these other reviewers are talking about. Granted, I choose vegan/veggie options so I can't speak to the entire menu. But the reviewer that dissed the drunken noodle is a Drunken Noodle, cause that dish is da BOMB here. They're a bit cheap with veggies (but prices are below average so- I'm fine with it) oh and don't expect stellar service- they try but just don't have an service mindset which is frustrating until I started thinking of it as adding to the authentic charm. Was excited to try this little place based on previous reviews. It was honestly such a disappointment. Summer Rolls were simply large rolls of lettuce with one small shrimp. Difficult to eat and flavorless. Eggplant special had two slices of rubbery scallop and again - flavorless. Shaking Beef dry, hard, pellets of beef with a side of limp iceberg lettuce and a wedge of pale tomato. Pad See Ew with chicken had about three noodles and four tough sinews of chicken. Fried rice was mushy with two or three green peas and one slice of chicken. All of it completely flavorless. No lime, peanuts, bean sprouts, chili, fish sauce or other traditional Thai flavors. Tossed out about $100 of takeout. Will not venture back. read more

So... not for nothing, every time I eat here my stomach resents me for it. Oil is not a substitute for flavor. And it's tempting to try and pick up Thai food that's even remotely local, but ultimately just not worth it. The prices are totally fine- completely normal range of $9-$15. The portions are huge. That's not the problem. The problem is that all the food is greasy and to me seems not the freshest. The only thing this place has going for it is that it's the only Thai place in New Milford. Better than I was expecting I ordered coconut soup and a red curry with chicken. To go... It took about 12 or 13 minutes to be ready Then I drove for about 20 minutes and I was surprised how hot the food still was. I really enjoyed both the soup and the curry dish (it came with a small container of white rice). You get so used to finding places that are so so or average. It was nice to finally try this place and find out that it's great. The prices are a little high to me but the quality taste of the food is very good to excellent and I was happy with the portions. read more

Been there once and tried their som-tum, wild boar basil, and a side of pad thai. Best pad thai I have had in all of CT. So authentically flavorful. Setting is a little odd, it's literally dining in the living room of someone's house. Besides our table, there was another couple dining in the "living room" and it just felt so awkward and uncomfortable from the silence. Wish they had turn on some music or something. What a lovely place! In the old Adrianna's location. A good energy spot! They will be opening the idyllic outside patio this year too. They used to own a restaurant in New Haven and now this part of the state is blessed with world class Thai food. The tofu tastes like it could be home made, if it's not - so soft and fluffy. Surprised to find decent Thai in a converted home outside of New Milford but for what it is this place is great, and had become one of our go to choices when I didn't want to cook and was looking for something different. This is not Thai food. I'll be damned if you can EVER find food this SWEET and SUGARY in all of Southeast Asia or ASIA for that matter. The food is fresh but there is so much sweet thick sauce, I think three servings of blueberry pancakes smothered in maple syrup would be less sweet. I am a big proponent of breakfast for dinner, or better, DESSERT for dinner, but the sea salt caramel chocolates from Kent Chocolate Co. are more balanced in flavor and sweetness. I didn't eat that much and left with a stomach ache. The two stars go for 1. tofu is homemade and delicious (but unfortunately smothered in gooey overly sweet peanut sauce) 2. the pretty Buddha and elephant art. 3. The ginger tea was the winner of the evening: absolutely delicious. I would recommend sauce on the side, less condensed milk to the Thai iced tea, and putting on some relaxing background music. read more

We ate here two separate times during our vacation, and both times were outstanding! Everything we've tried was incredibly delicious! As per other reviews, the Yellow curry with Duck and Coconut soup are highly recommended. The Pad Woonsen (#80) is awesome too! The quiet, classy yet relaxed atmosphere make for a wonderful dining experience. The owner even remembered us between visits - and that my wife must have gluten free dishes. Very impressive. Wow! I just moved back to the area after 16 years in California (Bay Area and Hollywood), I was skeptical that I would find great Thai food way up here but the reviews don't lie! Thai Charm is authentic, fresh, and delicious. They have plenty of vegetarian options and will even accommodate a "no fish sauce" request (hint: Thai sauces almost always have fish sauce unless you request otherwise). The dishes were generously portioned, bright, and perfectly cooked. The curry is great and tastes fresh made. Overall I am genuinely thrilled to have found this fabulous restaurant and cannot wait to be back. Absolutely as good as any Thai I've had in Hollywood, Beverly Hills, San Francisco or New York. I am so happy! Great food, wonderfully friendly staff, nice clean space. A new favorite and an easy 5 star rating. read more
