From the outside it just looks like its going to be an average sushi place. It was a wonderful surprise when we walked in. It's beautiful inside so cozy. Everything we ate was fantastic from apps to dessert. The Spring Rolls, Crab Rangoon, Eel Roll, Taj Mahal Roll, Schertz Roll, and Nigri Octopus. It was so good we had to get an Eel Roll to go. Best customer service you'll ever receive. I went to pick up some noodles (first time ever even walking in that place) and the way I was greeted was out of this world. The only reason why I gave the 3 stars is due to service. I've visited this place earlier in the week and service was slightly slow but chalked it up to lunch time rush. Today I ordered 2 items, a sushi roll and spring rolls. Nobody else in the restaurant bur me. I waited 7 mins before someone came to ask me for my drink. At the time of my drink order I also gave my food order. Needless to say the drink came out with my spring rolls and sushi roll came out 10 mins later. Not exactly happy with the service but will give them another try later on in the month. read more

The food is very fresh here. Order Prince of Thai, the salmon was cooked in an excellent fashion, not overcooked, just cooked enough. I am a huge sashimi fan so the salmon being nice and lightly cooked in the center was great! My husband had the lettuce wraps, wonderful, the meat and rice was cooked with a crisp on it, yummy! Horrible customer service! This is the 2nd time going here. When you walk in no one acknowledges you. You have to chase them down to place an order. Today was the 2nd time going back thinking maybe it was a bad day. Same thing happened, when I was seated I wasn't asked about my choice of drinks. She walked off and didn't come back until I was getting my items to walk out. We were waiting 10min and there were only 3 people who had already finished their meal. Shameful! read more

I'm a huge fan of General Tso's chicken. I haven't found any in the area that compares to a place I frequented in my hometown (Nashville, TN). Read the reviews and decided to try it out. Cozy place, friendly staff, great egg rolls. Still looking for great General Tso's chicken in the San Antonio area. I will be back but wont order the same thing. Bad service for to-go customers! I ordered and 2 tables after me was served first while i sat there waiting for my order. When i asked what was going on with my order they simply pointed at the sushi guy and after 10 more minutes my order came out. No apology or reason why it took them that long. So unacceptable! Food was fresh, hot, and delicious! Portions were huge (enough to share), and service was excellent. I got the chicken teriyaki bento box, which came with soup, salad, perfectly steamed white rice, pork dumplings, and california roll. Everything was perfection.My co-worker got the Chicken chow mein and didn't leave a single noodle on the plate. Aside from Thai, they also have various sushi, Chinese, boba teas and smoothies, and even desserts. My co-worker got the fried bananas; they looked amazing - he confirmed. Best kept secret in 40 square miles. Exceptional service, atmosphere, and insanely good food. Beautiful presentation. Was shocked with such all around quality experience in this area. Felt more like high end Austin/SA restaurant. Unique menu with flavors I never knew I wanted. Something for every taste. Highly recommend the Evil Jungle Prince- fresh flaky fish with seasonal veggies green curry peanut sauce- not drowning in sauce but super flavor. Wow... just wow... my family just left this restaurant after being a repeated customer because of the poor quality of service... Came in during somewhat busy time, 645 pm, not super slammed, which normally I would never fault a business during a rush. In over a twenty minutes timeframe, we only received waters and two other tables that came in after us received their appetizers and sushi before us! AND we ordered edamame, the easiest appetizer on the menu to make, literally takes a minute to prepare, and other tables had sushi... Ridiculous! I love the staff, so friendly and personable. Today was my second visit and they remembered me, that's so amazing in our time and day. The food is cooked to order, the freshness can be tasted. Best sushi in this area, and the Tom Yum is fabulous. Had my mother meet me there today and she loved it. We are Thai food fanatics and will definitely be back to Thai Chef time and time again, so nice to have authentic Thai food so close to home!!!! read more

The first time we had take out from this location, it was great...well packaged, and we had a good amount of food for the price. We have been back three times and it seems like the quality and quantity is decreasing each time we go. They changed their to go packaging to styrofoam and it leaks everywhere now, and we get less food than we did the first time. Also, one of the girls at the front counter could have better customer service. This location is right down the street from our house, so I'm sure we will continue to go there...I hope service and quality increases to what it was before. read more

I'd give it 4 starts because they had vanilla candles burning and you should never have scented candles in a restaurant. This place was nice and clean and the wait staff was very polite. We went for lunch, I had the soy sauce noodles and my wife had the lettuce wrap. The soy sauce noodles were kinda bland, I had to spice it up with sriracha and hoisin sauce and then it hit the spot. Was comparable to other restaurants pad see ew, which they did not have on the menu. My wife had the lettuce wrap which was so so. It was nothing close to PF Chang's lettuce wrap to give a comparison. They did have a decent sushi selection which I intend on sampling next time around. I'm a new transplant from California so I've been spoiled by very good sushi and thai food. I thought I'd give this place a shot and was sorely disappointed. I ordered the drunken noodles and they were drunk alright we can say intoxicated with too much oil and over cooked noodles. They do give you generous portions but I'd rather get half the order with better quality. I don't think I'll be visiting this place again :( read more

Um amazing. Huge menu with pho, sushi, Thai curry, bubble tea, Vietnamese coffee, etc. We ordered pho, curry, and sushi - it was all absolutely amazing! The tab was remarkably low at the end of our meal -$70 for tons of food and speciality drinks for the whole group. I don't understand the good reviews! Don't believe it. I took my granddaughter there for dinner last night, and what a disappointment!!! The Sushi was average at the best, but the pho was horrible. Absolutely the worst pho I have ever had in my entire life. The broth was so salty that I had to dilute it with a whole glass of hot water, there were three pieces of fat and a little bit of meat on it, which was tough as leather. For that, I paid $10!!! I'd be surprised if this business is going to survive in one year. read more
