Hadn't ordered from them in a while and wow has it changed. Everything you would want to make a nice meal is extra $$. Ordered Tom Kha Gai and it literally is nothing but spiced broth. Never was like this before. Comes with nothing. Nothing. Every carrot, bean sprout, etc is extra. Which would not be so bad if the price of the broth was a couple of bucks. Don't start at $7.50 for spicy liquid. Appalling. Ordered Panang curry and got the same deal. Chicken and sauce. The menu says bell peppers included. None in the bowl. Just some chicken and Panang curry for $13.75 Want some carrots in the curry .75, bamboo shoots .75 basil .75 lime juice .75 onion .75 tomato .75 green onion .75 Now thats a nice curry. Thai Chili To Go has become our to-go Thai restaurant. We love Thai food and will go out of our way to try a new place. So when I say this location is our to-go then it has to be fantastic. The employees are all happy helpful individuals. We realized today that the crispy spring rolls are so good we willingly burn our mouths eating them. The skin is perfectly browned and crispy. Inside is a combination of shredded cabbage, ground chicken and other awesomeness. Really, so good we ordered 2 rolls to go. They will accompany our left over pad thai and pad siew later. This was my first Thai Curry experience and am I SO grateful it was! The penang curry at "hot" level was so deliciously creamy and spicy that I could NOT stop dunking my rice and noodles in. So good! First, food is AMAZING. The one bad thing is that it takes FOREVER to get your food. I mean FOREVER. Plan on waiting 30 minutes from the time you order to food at your table. Suggestion 1: Order on the app and pick it up. Suggestion 2: Bring a book or your computer if you're by yourself. Suggestion 3: Bring the family and plan on chatting or doing your taxes while you wait. You'll have time. I've mentioned this to management. They said that everything is made fresh to order, that's why it takes so long. I usually get the red curry with potatoes. The potatoes are never cooked all the way through. When I told management, they said I should take them home and nuke it in the microwave to cook the potatoes thoroughly. Really? Really, though, given the fresh food, friendly smile, and the warning of the wait time before I paid, I'm not docking stars. I don't remember the name of my meal, because I never can remember the names of meals unless I write them down. I'm not there for the meal name, anyway. My dish had basil, chicken (plenty of it) and a creamy, delicious, reddish sauce that was medium spicy. You choose your spice level and they did a good job matching the spice to the level. Stopped in here on my way home. I was coming down with a cold, and a bowl Tom Kha soup sounded like the best thing in the world. Great service. The cashier was very sympathetic to my not feeling well. I had the Tom Kha with fried tofu. It hit the spot. Still had my cold, but I felt better after my soup. So delicious and fast!!! They were wonderful for service and very patient with my indecisiveness. I got home with my food and I went from a hangry raging Medusa to a happy panda after my first bite of the dumplings! Expressing a sigh of relief that the reviews have gotten so much better since they first. Based on the first reviews that talk about poor service and some mediocre food, it seems that they have ironed out the new restaurant kinks. Since this parking lot is ridiculously small for the large amount of eateries, we were pumped to see that there is online ordering and delivery available. So many options to customize (adding veggies, extra meat, cashews, etc.). We ordered Pad Thai with chicken, carrots and zucchini and massaman curry with broccoli, carrots and chicken. The estimated delivery time was slightly over an hour (order long before you need it) but was delivered in 30 minutes, piping hot. The driver was very friendly and they got our order-even with add-ons- correct. They gave us a little serving spoon and forks, which was helpful. Most importantly, the food was very good. Great pad Thai, which was just slightly sweet and had an abundance of chicken. I like it better than Tum Nuk down the street, although you do get a smaller portion here, if that matters to you. They forgot the peanuts, however, which was a slight bummer. The massaman curry was creamy and had just a slight kick (medium spice) and was great with the veggies added. Horrible service feom the 2 girls that work up front at the register! I walked in to order- My order was simple- Pad Thai w/beef. 40 minutes go by and still no food. When I asked if there was an issue the girl at the register said no and that the food was coming. 15 minutes go by and still nothing. I ask for a refund and leave. This bad review could have been avoided if either of the 2 girls up front communicated they were backed up and let me know it would be a long wait time. read more

I had a carry out specialty order of drunken noodles with no bambo shoots. The food was fantastic but it took 18 min from the time the order was finished until it was ready to carry out. Went in with my husband & MIL on a Wednesday evening & there was 1 other person in line. The cashier told us the wait would be 25 minutes, so we ordered & came back 25 minutes later. There were several other disgruntled customers waiting around for food and our order wasn't ready for another 5-10 minutes. Highly dissatisfied with the wait time--next time I will try ordering online or ahead of time. With that said, the food was very tasty. One of my new fav local places, and it's right by target..couldn't be any more convenient! Luis at the front was great, he took the extra couple min to make sure that my questions were answered and his recommendations were spot on, he's a keeper and deserves a raise! Two years have passed ... and this place is still my 'go to' place for Thai in the East Valley. Nothing new food wise, taste is still on point with no change in portion size IMO. The star drops comes from the inconsistent front of house. Last week during a monsoon "nobody in the place" I was told it would be half hour wait ... really ... food arrived in 5 minutes! It took longer to explain we were eating in-house 'sharing the food' and need extra plates and serving spoons. Same silly sort of banter happens when you phone in. Limit your drama by using their App for all to-go orders. My search continues for consistently tasty 'sit down' Thai food in the East Valley. Till then it's still TC2G. read more

The staff at Thai Chili 2 Go was very friendly as I had never been in and they answered my questions. The food was pretty tasty, I had a the pad se ew, and the chicken in it was well cooked, the spice was spot on, and the noodles were great. I think they had a bit too much sauce in the dish making it a little soggy when I got home but overall for the price and close proximity to home I was very satisfied.
