I wasn't really a fan of the cocktail, I think it had some pulp which I don't like. I enjoyed the sauce that came with the stuffed wings. My partner and I have been coming to this restaurant for 7 yrs and haven't been disappointed yet. I actually discovered it on my way to the beach. On my initial visit, I ordered the Thai basal fried rice which was delicious. However, since then my partner and I have discovered our go to meal. Had the most wonderful birthday dinner for my dad! We ordered the vegetable chicken and the pad kee mao. All the food was delicious! I let the restaurant know it was my dad's birthday and got him the most delicious chocolate cake with coconut ice cream! At the end, the waiter let me know that a woman decided to pay for our meal! Thai Dishes didn't give us the warmest of welcomings. Their host was incredibly rude, not friendly, and didn't even say to word to us before sitting us down. Aside from a rough start, the rest of the journey was pretty good. We ordered the potstickers an an appetizer. Not bad, but I've had better. The wrap wasn't flavorful and I didn't think the meat inside packed a big enough punch. What I did enjoy, however, was the pad see ew. After sometime post appetizer, the pad see ew was good. I loved the meat but noodles were a bit gooey. It's my favorite thai dish so I would say Thai Dishes themselves cooked it just around the standard that I hold it to. Had the Chef special Mus Mun Nuer, the menu states that it is a Rib Eye in muslim curry but the meat was not Rib Eye but chuck roast. We asked the waiter why the meat was different than what was stated on the menu and he did not know so he came back with a lady who probably was in charge but all she did was explain how they prepared the dish. I told the lady that we ordered a Rib Eye dish and you served us chuck roast that was tough and dry. Hopefully management will be aware that this is false advertisement. read more

Have been taking out for years but the last few, we seldom order takeout due to quality of service being subpar. Order soup, arrive and I am walked past six times by the waiter. Another woman comes in 4 minutes later to retrieve her food and is immediately helped by this same server. I finally stop and ask another waitress if I can pickup my food. She goes sure one minute. Food comes out, and is placed next to the Sani bucket. Bucket was never moved. The other lady was helped first until I spoke up and said I'd been waiting. Excellent food and service in an elegant setting. I would describe the menu as Americanized Thai food but in a good way. Take the BBQ baby back rib (pork) for example, the slab-of-meat presentation is all-American but the taste is very much Thai with a hint of hickory smokiness. And it's fall-off-the-bone good! After spending three weeks in Cambodia and Thailand we have been trying every Thai restaurant in the South Bay Area (Southern CA). We didn't feel like cooking and decided to try a "new" restaurant and do Thai takeout out. We decided to give their Pad Thai a try. It was hot and ready for pick up when they said to pick it up. We took it home expecting the typical fare we have been getting. What a surprise! It was the closest we have found to the delicious meals we hade in Bangkok. It was such a treat to get to spend my brother's 64th birthday in a special restaurant. Recommended by good friends we were treated to such welcoming staff and delicious food. The restaurant was not busy at 1:30pm on a Monday and for a group of 7 we were sitted quite quickly. The total vibe of the place was welcoming and felt like a home vibe. The food was amazing. I got to try a coconut based noodle dish khao soi which was a must-try. The rest of us chose several lunch specials which were equally satisfying and the portions were more than enough. The roasted duck, I'm not usually into duck but had it recently somewhere else and it was amazing. Sadly at this Thai dishes the roasted duck was most likely roasted a week ago, frozen and put in the microwave just for me. Honestly it was more like rubber duck than a roasted duck. Yuck yuck yuck!!!! My GF ordered mixed seafood curry, there was no fish, only shrimp and mussels, the curry sauce was colored water, definitely more of a soup than a curry, so disappointed Ordered chicken satay, no peanut sauce, common man!!
