I gave this restaurant a rough review on Mother's Day but did want to give them another chance. I ordered take-out on Sat night & loved it! I did order directly & it was all ready w/in 25 min as quoted. I am not sure if my previous experience was due to online ordering service. I got Spicy Duck ( superb) and my boys got Orange Chicken ( they loved it, chicken was crispy - not soggy like they've experienced before with Asian Take Out items. Family decided we wanted to try a different Thai place and this one did not disappoint. Decor in the restaurant is very nice and everything was extremely clean. We got there around 5:30 for an early dinner and I'm sure glad we did. It started to get super busy between the 6-6:30 mark. Ventured out abs tried something different besides pad Thai and we were not disappointed. Must try the roasted duck and tiger dish entrees. So much flavor and food! Nope. But worse they are making NO accommodations to the COVID situation. Full capacity seating, no distancing, nowhere to stand waiting for a table without people bumping together, and two employees walking around completely unmasked even though we are under a state mask mandate. Fantastic new restaurant option in Brownsburg. We have been watching with interest waiting for them to open. Our first time eating was a carryover order. The Larb is excellent, the best I have had in the Midwest by far! Crab Rangoon are well made with a great sauce. Green curry and spicy basil fried rice are great as well. We will be back soon, and cannot wait to visit and eat in the beautiful dining room instead of ordering takeaway. read more

This little restaurant has great decor. It' small, so if you have a big party (over 6), you should call ahead. There is a front and back entrance. The service was a bit slow, and all the meals didn't come out together. The sweet/sour pork was good, but the orange chicken was over cooked. read more

Visited today for lunch. Had the most delicious Spicy Basil fried rice. I'm so glad this restaurant decided to open. Very friendly staff. Lunch prices are $8.99. The restaurant atmosphere is beautiful. Will definitely be back to try more dishes! We arrived a few minutes before the restaurant was due to open and we were standing outside. It was cold and the waitress came and opened the door for us. I know it doesn't seem like a big deal but, I've been left out in the cold or rain by other places that won't unlock the door until EXACTLY the time they open or when THEY are ready. Absolutely amazing Thai, and they are offering excellent take out service while we are all doing our social distancing. I've been staying in Brownsburg a few months now on business and wish I had ate here weeks ago. I did take out tonight and the staff were very friendly and happy to take care of me. There were a few other people waiting on their orders but mine was ready to go. I was opening my car door to leave and a man and woman came running out to me because they forgot the dipping sauces, what great service. They could have easily just said "Oh well". It is a friend who recommended Thai District. It's all our first time checking out this restaurant & we travel from Camby & Martinsville. The atmosphere is a plus, food is good & affordable. We're trying to get the lady server she can't hear us probably of the loud music. We're going to order some "to go" order after our dinner & asked the waiter if he wants to write it down. He said it's okay he'll remember but unfortunately, our tabs are all messed up & our orders are jumble amongst us. They have to redo it twice. We're fine about at least it was fixed. I tasted some of my friends food it was all prepared right but my order Pad Woon Sen it tasted okay but the noodle is kinda' soggy. Thai District has become one of my favorite date night spots in Brownsburg. The atmosphere is elegant and lends to an elevated dining experience. I never have issues finding parking in the large lot behind the complex, which is a huge plus! I've gotten the Pad Thai with Chicken a few times, and it's always great. I'd highly recommend the Crab Rangoon or the Spring rolls to start, but keep in mind that they serve 5 per order. The Thai Iced Tea is great, but little too sweet for my taste! A friend of mine got the Plum Wine, and really enjoyed it! I'll definitely be back! read more

I tried Thai District for the first time, and it was overall an alright experience. The vibe is very cool and has an upscale Thai-influenced decor. We ordered the chicken Pad Thai and Volcano Chicken to share. They asked if we wanted mild, medium, or hot spice level. I have a moderate spice tolerance, and we ordered the medium. I would definitely consider it more of a "mild" heat level. Unless you have very little spice tolerance, the medium shouldn't bother you. The Pad Thai had a nice sweet flavor the sauce as well. The portion was massive and a good value for $12.99. The Volcano Chicken was also very good and basically reminded me of orange chicken. They also have orange chicken on the menu, so I'm curious how different the flavor profiles are. My biggest issues were the service. Our server was nice enough but not attentive. We had to stop people to ask for more water or a to-go container. He was also very quiet and it was hard to hear him when he spoke. My biggest complaint was the temperature of the restaurant. It was SO HOT in there. It was still in the upper 80s outside, and it was a relief stepping out there. There was no air flow. Overall, the food was enough to make me want to get takeout here. I did see a lot of takeout patrons stopping by. The mediocre service and uncomfortable restaurant temperature isn't making me eager to dine in again. read more

I have been eating at Thai district restaurant for over four years. The food is always very delicious and enjoyable. As a regular customer who eats at the Thai district minimum two or three times a month sometimes more, I usually suggest that to my friends who travel to Brownsburg to meet there. .. but recently the service continues to go down down down you would think that being a regular customer that they would treat you well. Most of the time the service is good although if you vary from what they feel is what they consider a good customer service gets terrible. An example: when I meet out of town friends, we will stay and chitchat for maybe an hour and a half keep in mind we are ordering wine sake and other things so it's not like we are sitting taking a table. There's one server who is extremely offensive and has been from day one which I've overlooked because typically the other servers are good. The last three times I was there I met people from out of town and we sat for anywhere between an hour and a half to two hours, although we were ordering soup, appetizers, meals, and wine as well as sake so it wasn't like we were taking up the table and not ringing up a high bill and tipping 30 percent! . Tonight I met a friend there and she was actually there for about 20 minutes before I got there so I can see their concern of Her taking table, although she was drinking beer when I got there I immediately ordered wine because the server was extremely rude and let me know that I needed to order right away because my friend had been sitting too long which I thought was weird and rude by the way, we were only one of two tables in the restaurant and the entire time we were there only four other tables came so it wasn't like we were taking up space. Through the entirety of the meal which my friend had four beers and I had two glasses of wine we were there one hour and 20 minutes the server came up slammed the bill down upright and said are you paying now... we were shocked and kind of offended, and then even more offended when one of the other servers came by and cleared her throat and then started speaking in a foreign language, and all the servers started staring at our table !!! totally unacceptable if you want good customers, you need to learn to learn how to treat people ..!!!! never going back!!!! You just lost a good customer that's spends $ 150 or more a month and more important introduced many people who have been repeat customers!!! There are too many other good places to eat with fabulous service who appreciate good customers! I've heard from many others in the community that the service there has become very rude. Some people are claiming that even a half hour before they close they feel like they are rushed and servers mop under their feet and they are told that they are closing long before they do ... shame on you for being so offensive.!!!! read more
