Came into town starving from a long drive. Ordered the chicken green curry. Container was less than half full. Mostly liquid. Almost no chicken or bamboo shoots. I got about three bites in and had to stop eating it. Had a strong bad fish flavor to it that was making me nauseous. Picture is directly after I opened it. Not a bite taken yet. I spent $8.50 and feel robbed.

Great tasting food, and nice owners! A very good mom and pop restaurant. I love the spicy basil with beef. Fried rice is also very tasty.

That clinched it. We went for lunch and my wife had the Ubon chicken soup and I had the Beef chimichurri salad. We loved them both! The chimichurri had just the right amount of flavor and the lemon vinaigrette was perfection. Definitely would go here again if we're in the area.

I got a large romaine salad with chicken. It was plain, but in a good way. I don't know what it is about Joseph and Enterprise, Oregon, but the size of their salads is about five times bigger than where I'm from, and I'm loving it. It was hard for me to finish because it was so big, and I am a big eater. The lettuce tasted very fresh, and the dressing tasted homemade. Regarding the service, the woman who greeted and served me was extremely polite. She checked on me often, filled my water every time it was down a couple of ounces, and seemed very kind. I would say the service was great. When it comes to the ambiance, this place is a trip. Honestly, I did a double take and walked in and out a couple of times because I wasn't sure it was a restaurant. I thought it was a pet shop. I honestly could not tell. To me, it was definitely quirky, but it fit the overall vibe of the town of Joseph. I really enjoyed watching all of the customers come in with their dogs. The dogs were so happy and immediately got treats. It was dog heaven, to be honest. It made me think about my dog, who is no longer with us, in kind of a sad way. At the same time, it made me want another dog. The next time I'm in Joseph, I'll definitely be stopping back by here to grab a bite.

The peanut sauce was exquisite. The tofu was lightly fried but not greasy. The vegetables were crisp and cold. For dinner, we ordered pad Thai Noodles, Thai Garden Beef and Ginger with Chicken. I lived in Thailand. This food does not resemble anything I ate there during that year. My frail picked up take out tonight. She told the dumb bunnies NO SPICE on the fecking ( a nod to St. Patty's day) drunken noodles. Guess what? Yep they be spicy. I can't eat spicy food. I don't even feed spicy food to my dog. If it wasn't such a long drive I'd pin on my diapers and I'd take it back. Alas, it came out of their kitchen as worthless if yas can't eat spicy food and it remains unedible for me. Not the first time I've spent my cabbage here for a bad result but certainly is the last. I write lotsa places and express myself. The good, the bad and the ugly. I'll be sure ta mention what I paid for tonight and could not eat. I hates anyone to pay for something they aren't gonna get. Maybe they got the order wrong. Maybe the cook doesn't understand English. Maybe I just don't care. Actually I do care. I care that I paid for something I did not get. If you get food from here .. shhh .. pause and pipe that. That be Hammer laughing.

The amount of tempura was good, but flavor just average...and the sauce that came with it was basically brown water; totally lacking any dIscernable flavor. Luckily, wasabi and soy saved the day. The edamame was fine, and way more than enough; no complaints there. I believe there were about 18 pieces of spicy tuna and salmon sushi ib my plate. It was too much with too little variety in taste and texture. The four "flavors" presented were not very distinctive. My biggest complaint however, was the sushi definitely had been made hours before serving. The rice was dry on the edges, and whomever made it definitely needs lessons on how to achieve a tight roll. All the fish used in the dish was mushy. The flavor was acceptable, but the texture off-putting. As hungry as I was, the huge portion of below average sushi was too much for me to finish. Although some of the sushi delivered to tables around us looked pretty good, mine was too much of a mediocre thing. I couldn't finish it. Given Walla Walla is a town with a variety of exceptional restaurants, I doubt that Bangkok 103 will be on our list next time we visit.

Honestly, the only good things I can say are that the location is great (right in the heart of…read moretown, with water views if you get a window seat) and the reservation process was simple online. We made a reservation for 8pm on a Saturday, and honestly, they weren't packed (they still had plenty of tables open). When we arrived there was no one at the host stand, and when they came they didn't check us in right away. Once we confirmed the reservation it took about 10 minutes for us to be seated, and there was a couple that came after us that had a reservation at the same time and were seated before us (okay, no big deal). We did get a window seat, which was nice. But this is supposed to be an upper scale restaurant in the area, and the silverware we were given was dirty, so not a great start. The server came to take our order, we ordered mocktails and a huckleberry lemon drop as well as the bread basket and the cured meat and cheese plate- compared to the Cutwater, honestly, no comparison. The teens didn't even drink the mocktail (which the server did take off the bill, and that was nice) and the lemon drop was okay. The bread basket and meat plate were fine, but we wouldn't order them again. My son ordered the 12oz ribeye (which was nearly 60.00) and I would say at least 50% of it was fat, and his was overcooked. I ordered the flat iron, and mine was undercooked, so he ended up eating mine. The herb roasted potatoes needed seasoning and felt like something they simply tossed on the plate. My daughter's Caesar salad was as expected to a side salad. Our server never came to check on us after the food was brought out, and we waited for her to return after we were done with the food for nearly 20 minutes. Overall we were disappointed and not truly certain why this place is recommended above other similar places in town. Very expensive, seems like it is trying to be upscale or more "fine-dining" but it missed the mark for us.

The staff is wonderful and the menu is not overwhelming and very unique. We had the Elk meatloaf on a recommendation and it did not disappoint. The layers of flavors are off the chart, from the richness of the Elk to the maple bacon gravy combined with the mash potatoes, which had a hint of cheese. The lounge is very warm and cozy as well. We will definitely be back and we give this a 5 must visit.
