All out food! 2 kids meals. The thaigar and the elephant Along with the basil stir fry.

The food is so tasty, no dairy in most of not all their food. So dairy free, there are gluten free options as well. The customer service is great, they are polite and helpful. The man at the counter helped me get water with just a splash of lemon aid and it was perfect. I got 2 kids meals for only $6 each and a adult meal and everything was so good! Both my kids loved their meals! Which is very rare they both said this is their new favorite place to eat! I highly recommend for a healthy place to take the kids!

Pad Thai

I've been to other Thai Express locations that are better. I got my usual Pad Thai and it was way too sweet here. It also was a little too wet with too much sauce. The Tofu was tasty though.

I didn't really expect much but I was still slightly disappointed. If you're looking for curry, go elsewhere. I was honestly angry when I took a bite of what I thought was a potato but turned out to be a pineapple. Pineapple doesn't belong in Yellow Curry. The Curry felt very paste-like. And the rice is atrocious. The Orange Chicken is decent. It has a very orange zest flavor that Panda Express orange chicken doesn't have. I would avoid the Curry dishes and try their other dishes. Also, $3.25 for a bland Thai Tea is not worth it. It felt watered down the moment I was handed my drink.

Chicken pad Thai

Very generous serving of pad Thai!! I got a medium spice chicken pad Thai for about $10. It was more than enough to share. Love the pad Thai and Thai tea here!!

Green Chicken and Shrimp curry with no shrimp and only a couple pieces of chicken. $13.48 wasn't worth it.

I used to frequent this location (Chandler Mall) pre-pandemic and the service was hit or miss. I stopped coming, even post-pandemic because of the inconsistent service and food- but decided to try it out again since I heard it was under new management. Initially it was good! I came back 3 times in the span of a week. The first two times, the order and service went well. The food was great and all was accurate. On my initial visit I tried the Green Chicken and Shrimp Curry. Liked it, so got it again as well as the Panay Chicken and Shrimp Curry (lunch and dinner) on the second visit. There was a good amount of shrimp (I'd say 4-5 pcs) in both dishes and the shrimp weren't tiny scrawny pieces. The amount of chicken was also good. My third time was a poor experience. I recommended the place to my husband and though he was hesitant he was willing to try it. Ordered two green chicken and shrimp curries as well as the daily special, Tom Yum Chicken soup for the first time. Both Green Curries did not have any shrimp and only a couple pieces of chicken. We ordered it to go and didn't know it was inaccurate until we got home. Unfortunately the shrimp is an extra cost and having none was a bummer. Disappointing. I'm not sure I'll be back. I'm usually picking up on my lunch time and I'm looking for good tasting food that's consistently served quickly and accurately.

a plate of noodles and meat

This is my second review on this place. I love the food here. Today I went and ordered food and sat down and ate at the food court. A very nice gentleman rang me up. I later then went up and asked for a water cup but a different gentleman that probably doesn't own the restaurant and gets paid minimum wage was refusing to give me a cup of water UNTIL the nice gentleman told him I order food earlier. If you are reading this (you know exactly who you are big fella), you don't get paid enough to protect the assets of this place. It's a cup of water, how greedy can you be?

Mini soups and chicken pad Thai noodles. Bomb

Love that I can have yummy Thai food at the mall! The mall!!! Wow, never thought this day would come. The portion sizes are big, prices reasonable. The mini soups are a perfect size to hit the spot, but not overfilling. I had the chicken pad Thai noodles and I cleaned my plate. Spicy level had my nose running, cleared my sinuses, just the way I like it! Friendly and fast customer service, a clean counter with condiments (hello Sriracha!), silverware, chopsticks, etc...Our food was made on the spot and served HOT. I was impressed with the quality and authentic taste. Great addition to the Chandler mall food court and I will definitely be back! Grab an iced Thai tea and enjoy!

Ew. Not like the picture at all. Go somewhere else instead for mall food. Way too expensive for what it is...

We got the egg rolls, yellow curry with chicken, and the fried rice with chicken. Ordered "medium" for the spice level, and for us it was perfect. The chicken was so good, reminded me of a rotisserie chicken. Delicious. The sauce they offered for the egg rolls was also very tasty. Can't wait to come back, and try some other dishes.

We ordered on-line when we left church and we received a text about 13 minutes later that it was ready (just as we parked). Everyone one was very nice. The seating is limited, but there is some upstairs. We ordered the Ta Lew Fried Rice with extra shrimp and medium spicy and a Vegetable Medley with Shrimp, no spicy. We also tried the Ta Lew Rolls. The rolls were just starting to soften from our 15 minute drive home in their container. We opened them up as soon as we got home and ate them. They are pretty good! We both enjoyed our entrees and since we're older and don't eat as much as we used to, we had enough left over for the lunch the next day. We'll definitely be back.

The decor is simple yet inviting, highlighted with Buddha's, Thai culture and pictures of Thailand. We ordered Paht See-eew lunch 3 star and the Evil Jungle Princess curry entree 1 star, not available on lunch menu. Food arrived about 10 minutes. The flavor and heat level was on point. I moved from 2 star last time to 3 star this time and I will likely do the same in the future. Beware as 2 star is Thai hot! The curry had good flavor, but was a little runny. We prefer a thicker and richer curry. Our server was friendly and responsive, kept our ice waters full, a good thing when eating spicy foods! Recommended for a good meal at a reasonable price!

I also ordered their lunch special Phat See-eww with beef. I was very surprised it would be a 40 minute wait to pick up the food. I was also surprised they charge an additional $1 to order online. Hmmm As I waited in my car, there was a constant stream of customers going in and out so it seemed like a very popular and I was excited to dig in when I got home. Unfortunately Phat Ped La Dook was extremely salty and the Phat See-eww was very bland! The spring roll that came with the lunch special was cold:( With so many options around here, not sure if I will try again as the food was such a letdown.

5/29/26 Back to enjoy a repeat of my last visit…read more Parking 5/5 Arrived ~7 pm and there was parking available near the entrance. Ambiance 5/5 This is a nice Thai quaint restaurant with a nicely decorated dining room with Cultural pieces throughout. Service 5/5++ Dinner service was provided again by Moo. What's amazing is her immediate recognition of me and my last order. I have memory envy. Moo got things rolling with Ice Tea. The starter was their rice paper spring rolls (salad rolls) which come as four servings with a nice peanut sauce and sweet chili sauce. As mentioned in my previous review, these are amazing delicious because they are made fresh with thinly sliced cucumber, carrot, sprouts, fresh mint, cilantro and spring mix with a choice of protein. I always have them made with shrimp. Pro-tip challenge Try eating just one serving! Entrees ordered Pad Kee Moa (drunken noodles) Thai Hot! Pork Jerky, nicely seasoned with Thai seasoning and Sriracha sauce reduction. Served with a crispy outer crust and tender pork center. This came with another delicious dipping sauce, bravo! Food10/5 Chef Tom continues to deliver a very fresh culinary experience. I expected the restaurant to be busy during lunch time, but I certainly did not expect how small it is. It felt crammed inside, but no big deal. Parking was also tricky. It's pretty limited, so I had to park a bit further away. In terms of food and service, Thai Basil did a great job. Our server was very patient while we figured out what to order. I went for the Chicken Pad Thai and stuck with water as my drink. I was pleasantly surprised when the food started coming out because I expected it to take longer. I'd say it took about 15 minutes, even during lunch rush. My Chicken Pad Thai was delicious. The serving size was good and it came with a spring roll on the side. The price isn't bad at all either. Parking was easy, but unfortunately the service was the worst part of the visit. I sat down to look at the menu and place a to-go order, only to be told to move to another seat. A simple order of pad thai and spring rolls took exactly 42 minutes. After several follow-ups, no one told me the food was ready until I walked up to the counter myself. Overall, a frustrating experience, and I would not recommend it with other Thai restaurant options nearby.
