That small touch of hospitality said the tone for the whole visit. I started with a Chai Latte, which was a comforting choice for the rainy weather. For the appetizers, I ordered the Crab Angels and Shrimp Rolls. Both made the meal feel like a treat before the main course arrived, offering a satisfying mix of crispy textures and flavorful bites. For the entree, I chose the lunch portion of the Red Curry with Chicken. It was a hearty, flavorful dish that rounded out the meal nicely, with the kind of rich curry flavor that feels especially satisfying on a gray day. The portion was just right for lunch, leaving me full without feeling overwhelmed. Overall, Big Thai stood out not only for the food but also for the care they showed their guests. From the thoughtful rainy-day service to the enjoyable advertisers and comforting red curry, it was a relaxing and satisfying lunch experience worth returning for. Later Gator!!!

I highly recommend this restaurant if you love Thai food as much as I do. Good selection of different kinds of teas. Parking is sufficient.

Super excited to see mango and sticky rice on the menu-however, while it wasn't bad, the sticky rice was very over cooked and the grains were like a potato consistency. The sauce was also cold and looked like it was separating perhaps due to the temperature. Pineapple fried rice-go Egg rolls- greasy but good-flavor- I liked their sauce wasn't artificially red Pad see ew- pretty good- noodle texture was spot on. I ordered medium and it was pretty spicy

First time trying Real Thai, never had it with the previous owners when it was K'Nyaw Thai…read more The time from ordering to getting my order was about 32 minutes waiting. One lady & her son were dining in the restaurant so everything is made fresh to order. 2 stand outs for me were the chicken wings and the sweet mango rice. My curry was a little too liquidy/watery, I wish it had a thicker/creamy texture to enjoy with the white rice I originally had crab fried rice on my list but my husband wanted to try the Tom Yum Fried rice, I think the flavor was overpowered by lemon grass... so maybe next time I'll be able to try the crab. My husband picked the real Thai red pork dish, and we were disappointed with the amount or portion given, it was a lot of rice underneath with little bits of meat. The pad Thai I ordered was chicken with shrimp added on for $3.00 which I got 3 pieces, :( $1.00 per shrimp is crazy but ok, I also asked for extra lime and bean sprouts but got one wedge of lime and little bean sprouts so maybe they forgot to didn't see that. Chicken wings had a good flavor. I would definitely order them again!! Sweet mango rice was delicious!! I would also order this again! Had a Thai brown tea, it was pretty sweet/milky, wish it was more potent in the Thai tea flavor.

I saw the great Yelp reviews and I was excited to give this place a try. I was somewhat surprised…read moreto walk in and see that three of the four empty tables had reserve signs on it, thankfully we were able to snag the open one. There was a rather extensive menu with a lot of interesting looking choices. We opted to try something different and something safe. For something different we tried the tom yum seafood fried rice which had a label saying it was new to the menu. For something safe we went with a pork pad thai. We told them that we were going to share both dishes and they actually brought us each her own little plate and forks which was very appreciated. The pad thai hit the table first and we were able to start eating that and sharing it. We got about halfway through it before the fried rice got there. Which was great timing since we were sharing the dishes. I don't know if they did this intentionally because we were sharing, but if they did it was great idea. The Pad Thai with solid. We had it mild and I really appreciated the sweetness and tenderness of the pork. However had we just had this it would have been a four. The fried rice is what really shined. Also ordered mild, it had a great flavor with a little hint of spice and basil. A good amount of seafood inside, and all of it was tender and flavorful. Highly recommend this dish. The service really stood out here. After we ordered, a booth came open near the back of the restaurant so they offered if we wanted to move because they were concerned that it might be warm near the door. We decided just to stay put but it was nice of them to offer. They also did a great job keeping the drinks filled.

This place is the best lunch spot I've come across…read more The interior isn't too big so if you have a larger party, I would make a reservation if possible- especially since it gets pretty busy. My friend and I ordered the following: - Phad See Ew Luch Set - Beef Stew Noodle Soup Lunch Set First off, the variety itself makes this place so special- you not only get an entrée but you also get pickled veggies, steamed dumpling, side dish (varies by set), and dessert of the day! Everything on the tray was absolutely delicious but the Beef Noodle Stew blew my mind. One of the best broths I've ever had and the meet was so tender and flavorful. This is definitely a must get if you visit Me'Khun! Aside from the fantastic food, the service was good, the interior was cute, and I loved the plating. I look forward to coming back here and eating their lunch set again!
