It looks like it would taste amazing. I ordered the special for the day which was a Thai basil dish. My chicken was dry and tasteless. I could not taste any real flavors in the dish. Thai food is all about vibrant colors and different spices complementing each other. The spices in Thai food are bold and beautiful. This dish was like eating in black and white but seeing the color. It was a tease. I ordered a shrimp spring roll. The peanut sauce was pretty good but the spring roll was mainly chopped iceberg lettuce. It wasn't the worst spring roll I've ever had, but I wouldn't order it again for almost 5 dollars. The rice was pretty decent and they gave a large portion. This was nice. The staff was friendly and I liked that they were actually cooking the dishes where you can see. I like the fact that they offer daily specials for around $11 for the combo. It comes with a drink and an imperial roll. That is the only option for appetizer. It was okay. It was not something I would order again. I took my parents to this Thai restaurant for the first time, and we had such an amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and attentive. When we placed our order, they made sure we were satisfied with everything we chose and checked on us throughout our visit. The food was absolutely delicious, and you could truly taste how fresh all the ingredients were. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures of our dishes, but we ordered the Walnut Shrimp, Tom Yum Soup, Spring Rolls, Chicken Stir Fry, and Chicken Curry Vegetables, all served with steamed white rice. First I don't discriminate nor am I racist but there was not a single person working in there that looks anything like a Thai person. It was full of Indian staffs. The tom yum broth was decent but it was a lot of broth and not enough filling in it. The pad Thai was most definitely not pad Thai. It tasted more like instant chow mein, the beef in it was very dry. The spring rolls had tough, almost hard wrapping.. but their peanut sauce for it was delicious. For being the only car in the drive thru line, it took very long. Not very "express." Ambiance: menu was simple and easy to read (though missing my favorite Eggplant Basil). The worker was courteous and even gave the kids lollipops. The Yellow Curry was a bowl with rice. I was disappointed to see only a few pieces of chicken and excess amounts of peppers and onions. I ordered a spice level 2 but it felt really like a 8. The Pad See Ew was lacking flavor. We ordered a 0 to share with the kiddos, but they ended not eating it because it felt like a level 3 spice. The rice was good though! Overall, the value is not here for the food you get. Yes service means a lot, but the $14 Yellow Curry and $14 Pad See Ew serving did not equate to value I paid and ordered, not to mention the spice levels and being inedible for the kids.
