Visited this restaurant while on our Road to Hana! We stopped here for lunch and the view of the restaurant is breathtaking! The portions are HUGE so be prepared to be hungry! I found the food to be a tad salty, but was good! Super easy to order and they accept cash or card!

Possibly the best Thai food on Maui!!! Super authentic. And you can select levels of spiciness! We don't go to hana often, but when we're here, gotta make sure we stop by for lunch.

We weren't too hungry and we ordered the drunken noodles with shrimp. We saw it was spicy and was looking forward to it. What I realized was this place was authentic. Not because of the ingredients, flavoring, but because of how spicy it was. There was no warning about the spice and I was chugging water and it felt so good. The shrimp was also large and excellently cooked. I would love to come back here and try other dishes

Cook got mad at us for ordering food. There was no one else there. Super disrespectful.

This was such a welcome oasis to arrive at after that drive. They don't advertise it but they have tofu options for their dishes. I had the Pad See Ew with tofu. Very good! I would have asked for it spicier if I could have done it differently. But I love hot Thai food. Service was good, very relaxing watching Hana life from the covered deck. Very much a local favorite. Super friendly.

We came here for lunch on our Road To Hana, and this spot is definitely a go-to. We asked the cashier for recommendations, and she liked the Red Curry with Pork Belly and the Fried Fish with Mango Salad. We ordered those two, got our number, and waited about twenty minuted til our food came. It is a small food truck with outdoor seating. The food was very generous! The red curry complimented the crispy pork belly well and had a tiny spice to it. It was on the heavier side and filled us up nice. The fried fish was a lot lighter and the mango salad was fresh. The fish sauce paired with the fish very well. We were very full with extra food to spare in the end!

This place has some seriously amazing pad Thai. Mine was with tofu and it was excellent - and a really generous portion. It took a bit of a wait, but totally worth it. Loved the views from the patio here as well!

Great place to go to enjoy some Thai food. This place is also within walking distance from the beach, making it even more convenient. The service was friendly and efficient. The ambiance very relaxed and very Hawaiian. All outdoor seating with shade and fans to keep you cool.

The food was amazing. I normally get the papaya salad, but I heard the mango salad was good. I tried the crispy fish with mango salad. OMG, the fish was cooked to perfection and still crispy when I got home. It was great while waiting for my food talking to the locals about this restaurant and their great experience. This is a MUST try restaurant. Great food!

    The magic castle.

What can't I say about this humble shack on Maui's east coast... Like the road to Hana leads to paradise, but it also leads to some of the world's most delcious Thai food. Pranee and crew are cooking up something magical inside their food truck/cook shack. It is humble and the accommodations are basic, but the fire that will warm your taste buds and soul are served inside those food containers. The flavors are out of this world delicious, and the servings are super generous. If you're staying in Hana or just visiting for the day, stop in for lunch or an early dinner. You will not regret it. My drunken noodles and crispy pork belly was hot, delicious and absolutely amazing. The flavors remind me of the some of the great Thai restaurants back in L.A. or better, even. How this small, unassuming and modest place is making it happen at the highest level is beyond me. But they are truly one of the gems and reasons to endure the long and windy drive.

I enjoyed Thai Food by Pranee! The crispy chicken wings were the best. I also had the Pad Thai, which was good but I should have requested more spice it wasn't as spicy as I'd like but still delicious. The service was good and the seating outside made for a great casual dining experience. If you are even in Maui check out Thai Food by Pranee!

    Drunken fish- sooooooo good!

Was pretty skeptical that this banana bread would top the other banana breads I had tried on this…read moretrip, but man, this takes first place. Once you reach this stop on your Road to Hana tour, make sure you get one ($10). The loaf is served warm, and man, it is good. You can't, or aren't supposed to, eat it there since there is a sign saying this place is grab-and-go only, so we ate it in the car on our way to the next stop. Between the two of us, it was basically more than half gone. It is not too sweet (in a good way), airy, light, and just really good homemade banana bread. The cashier was really nice and service was really fast. Since it is on the peninsula, the drive is also beautiful with waves crashing into the rocks.

I know every place and person will claim they have the best recipe out there, but this was actually so delicious! The texture was moist and fluffy, and the banana flavor was perfect without being too sweet. I had a whole loaf by myself traveling along the Road to Hana without even realizing it! And for it to be nut-free and sugar-free was really impressive to me. While here, I also grabbed a mango smoothie, which wasn't too special - though it wasn't mango season, so I don't blame them - and a couple of Island Dream Bars. If you're an Almond Joy fan, then I highly recommend the Island Dream Bar; it felt like a homemade, better version of an Almond Joy with macadamia nuts, coconut flakes, and chocolate baked into a cookie bar.

The ladies are quite nice, recommended the ginger chew candy and even refill my water bottle. Yup, I was one of those who got the motion sickness. The store offers variety of snacks. We bought their famous banana bread which by the way is by far the best banana bread I ever had. Very moist, it's that good. I mean it's on the sweeter side but that's expected. And it's pricey, also expected. We bought 2 to take home. Put it in the fridge in our hotel room then brought it home. It lasted about 1 week as long as it's in the fridge. Highly recommended for a quick stop on your way to Hana town. Tip: No public restroom here.
