Food was decent, spicy fried rice was good, tom yum was way too sweet, yellow curry wasn't blended well. Called in the order told Me it would be there 30min, i got there 30min later and my food wasn't ready until 45min after I arrived, so I sat and waited for 45min after I had called 30min prior to place my order. An hour and 15 minutes and I never even got an apology or asked if i wanted a glass of water to go with my extra 45mim wait in the restaurant. Thai Garden has quickly become one of our go-to's for yummy Thai food. The owners are really nice and always go out of their way for the customer's. They are usually pretty busy so sometimes is a bit of a wait but the food is totally worth it. Our favorites are the pad see ew with chicken and the yellow curry with chicken. I used to come here all the time. The food is pretty good, but I am giving this place a two star because the service has been very bad. The guy (the owner probably because he's always there) is often rude. When I place to-go orders on the phone, he sounds like he's angrily rushing me when he says, "What else do you want?! What else?! Uh huh... is that it?? I very busy!" Like, what the heck, I'm only ordering two entrees. I understand you are probably busy because this place is understaffed, but seriously, have a more respectful tone. I didn't even get to ask for the total amount or ask how long it would take for the order to be finished because he was so in a rush that after I placed my order he hung up on me. Also, this place has the tendency to be closed on days and hours they say they are supposed to be open, so don't rely on them to be open. Call ahead to check if they're open. This hidden gem is definitely a place to remember, the prices are great, food is packed with flavor and the best part is they even do a lunch buuffet Monday - Friday for a very cheap and reasonable price! Located in a respectable shopping center (Sushi, Pho, Mexican Food and Italian) you cannot miss Thai Garden. Inside you are warmly welcomed by an upbeat staff and very decorative restaurant. Their menu is very easy to understand but packs a ton of selection for any picky eater. (Kudos Thai Garden) I ended up getting their flat noodle dish since I am such a sucker for that type of dish and my friend ended up ordering their brocolli veggie and chicken dish. I also ordered their Thai ice Coffee which was surprisingly better than I thought, perhaps better than any Starbucks frapp ive ever tried lol. Totally drank that whole coffee in one gulp! I WANT MORE lol Our food arrived fairly quick, but on the walls of each table they have a sign stating that their kitchen in small and that food may arrive later than usual but its wortht the wait...well, their was only one way to tell and thats to EAT!! We both took a bite from each others dish and wow...such a great decision to have lunch here! Ended up wiping both our plates clean and even talking about it as we left the restaurant haha. Overall, service here is very friendly and the restaurant is kept very clean and organized. The vibe and everything about that place felt "Homey" which made our experience even great. The only downfall to this great review that we didnt bring up to the staff, was that my friend found a strand of hair in her dish but because we were so hungry we didnt mention it...i know i know, who the heck doesn't tell the restaurant!?! After reading the reviews of this place and working through lunch that day, I was salivating at the thought of my dinner order. I ordered chicken Paad Thai with a spice level of six (scale of 1-10), stopping in the restaurant and placing my order to go. After a short wait, the very friendly waitress handed me my order and off I went, my stomach growling all the way home. When I got there and opened the container, I thought it looked unlike any Paad Thai I had ever seen. They use a different noodle than I'm used to, and looking at it, there were just a few bean sprouts and perhaps half a scallion sitting on top. The peanuts were all concentrated in one corner, and there didn't seem to be much chicken. As for spice, if they truly gave me a 6, then their scale must go to 100, not 10. There was no discernable spice to speak of. As for taste, it was dull and hugely disappointing. The noodles they used were like an Italian vermicelli, not the flat noodle I'm used to. The consistency of the noodles made it hard for the very few other ingredients to mix in there, making for an inconsistent tasting dish. Overall I would say it was dry and tasteless, just like grandpa's sense of humor. If I go back, it won't ever be for the Paad Thai. read more

I came for lunch & the sign said open at 11:00. It was 11:05 so I came in. The guy came out to say it's not ready yet, wait another 15-20 minutes. That was fine. I thought I'd wait another 10 minutes in the car but here comes running out of the kitchen was this old lady looking mad. She was chasing after me then closed the door behind me like I was going to do some harm to her. I turned around after exiting to look at her thinking she wanted to say something but she vigorously shaking her head, shaking her hand to shoo me away. What a nice welcoming gesture. My first time eating Thai food and it was delicious! We had crab fried rice and it had legit real crab! And so much of it! Pad Thai noodles were delicious. And honey crisp chicken...so good. Thai Garden is a great family run Thai place. All their curries are killer and the mango and sticky rice is one of the best deserts in the world. Sometimes the service can be a little slow when it gets really busy but I'm never in a rush and it is well worth the wait anyway. This place is good. They make good Panang Curry. Also have some pretty good Thai desserts in addition to the typical fried banana, sweet sticky rice and green tea ice cream. BEWARE. I had a pretty disturbing experience at this place. I've never written a bad review about anything in my life. I used to be a regular at Thai Garden, I live down the road. A good friend of my was visiting from out of town so I took him there to eat. My buddy ordered this marinated chicken plate, took one or two bites and ended up asking to get something else as the chicken was too dry to eat. They took the nearly FULL plate of food back, threw it away and brought something else. We went to pay.. and they charged us for the plate of chicken. After going back and forth the server agreed to not charge us. After that, my buddy and I asked to speak to the owner/person in charge of the place to see what their policy was on returning orders. After talking to the people in charge about the situation, in hopes to understand the way they operate the place, they basically told us to fu*k off. It turns out their policy is to charge you even IF you have to return the food for whatever reason. This is the US of A, you don't treat your customers (especially regulars) like that. Its a shame. I am completely shocked by the way they treat some one who was a regular. I feel very sorry for these people. Save your time and money. There are many other Thai places in the area to give your money to. read more

I have been eating here for over 5yrs and have a level of patience due to the owners general kindness and a understanding that it takes a long time to get your food. There are times when I order pick-up and choose to eat in this is never been an issue previously and I've always been given adequate rice. I ordered 3 entrees 2 currys and a pad Thai and I was given a small ammout of rice. When I asked my waitress who could not seem to understand the concept of being given inadequate portions for 2 meals as I was with a guest advised it would 1.50 for rice when I said fine a little troll from the back demanding a tip and 12 cents for tax.... Here is the kicker aside from being rude unprofessional and unintelligible as golems mother spoke no English then DEMANDED A TIP.... YES DEMANDED A TIP. I of course laughed in her face said I will give her nothing and to fetch my rice... In my life I have never had someone so small minded and selfish to throw a fit over a paying customer asking for a service that they also paid for .... I will never eat here again who came here with will never eat there again and everyone that brings up Thai I will make sure to tell this story of the worst Customer service I ever experienced. Let me start out by saying the Pad see ew is freaking delicious and generally all their items are pretty good. However after meeting the boss lady for the first time on my third time placing a to go order, I would have to say she's is incredibly rude lady, she kept rushing me when I was trying to give out my order. upon arriving at the restaurant I ask another man if I could get extra silverware and plates, this lady interrupts and says they don't carry disposable plates, when I can clearly see the man in process of taking it out of the kitchen. The food is good and the price is decent but unfortunately I will no longer support this business solely because of this incident. I went for the classic pad woon sen and was not disappointed. Tried every single appetizer and I'd eat them all 100x times again. What makes this place a five star place for me though was the service. The little man seems to run the place, from the front to the kitchen.
