This hole-in-the-wall is a nicely tucked gem in the middle of nowhere. Don't let the unassuming exterior fool you; inside you'll be greeted by friendly staff, and served some good Thai dishes. Our group ordered Thai sausage fried rice, pad thai, yellow curry (very sweet) and pork larb. Everything met the bar. My dish, the larb, was ordered at level 4 of 10 spiciness, and it had a good kick, but not hot to the point of breaking a sweat. If you can't handle spiciness, I reckon level 1 or 2 is better for you. As my party went to the car, a waitress flagged us down to give us the takeout box we had forgotten at the table. This review is well overdue! Where do I start?? The location is perfect for this small town. The food never disappoints, no matter what we order and let me say we have tried at least a third of their menu. The friendliness and service is amazing! They will take your order up to the last few minutes before they close. Great hospitality if you want to stop by and eat there. They have a really good coconut ice cream that I believe is also made there. So good! None of that stuff that's just full of sugar. If you're ever hungry and in the area, do yourself a favor, stop and eat there or order to go. Either way, you won't be disappointed. read more

The food was surprisingly not good like my relative and I have known it to be. Orange chicken was very, very dry. It was not enjoyable to eat, in fact neither of us ate it that evening. Service by the front desk, the young woman was friendly and polite , and service was quick by her and the cook. I was very disappointed with the dinner we got. Mine was with no egg rolls. My relative was missing one. Also, when paying nearly $13 a meal, they charge $1 each for sweet and sour sauce, the average little containers most establishments have, with the snap on lid. They also charge for ice and cups of water. I understand the economy has hit all, but where they're cutting corners seems a bit too much. I'm afraid in time it will be a negative consequence. I used to love going there. I loved their orange chicken, rather than overcooked, dry chicken that was supposed to be orange chicken but there was no sauce on it. My chowmein noodles were somewhat dry as well. Maybe it was just a bad night. I'm not sure I'll risk trying it again. These reviews are for honesty. This review has nothing to do with the quality of the food. It's the service and operations they are running. I placed an order over the phone for cream cheese wontons, a wonton soup, crab fried rice and a combination chow mein with NO bean sprouts. The woman said my order would be ready in 15-20 mins. I said can I get the total for my order please. She placed me on a hold as I could hear her helping a customer in the store while I was waiting. Then she returned saying my order would be ready in 15 mins and I asked again for the total. She quickly repeated the order and said it was approximately $60. I said "yes, for the four items." I sent my mom to pick up the order and she got there and called me saying there's a bean sprout stir fry here. I said no I didn't order that it's only 4 items. My mom told me she told her I didn't order that and the woman said I'm gonna call her. She called and I said I didn't order 5 items it was four. She then had the nerve to tell me " do you remember when I repeated the order and you said ok". And I said " Yes! BUT I told you it was four items". I ended up telling her look if this is how y'all are gonna be we will pay for the food and won't be returning. I got off the phone and called my mom back telling her just put it on my credit card and we won't be back. I then thought they will make this right there's no way they are gonna loose a customer over a $11 item I didn't order. I check my credit card account and sure enough I was charged for the 5 items. But wait ..... it gets better. My mom returns with the food and she said she grabbed everything and counted and they only handed her 4 items and she said is this everything ? Then the woman had said ohhh this is also yours. ( so my mom would have left with 4 items yet we were charged for 5 if she didn't say anything). I'm opening all the items up including the bean sprout stir fry I didn't order. Then I get to my chow mein combination without bean sprouts. Guess what's in the dish? BEAN SPROUTS! ( picture attached). I've been a local of Rosamond for a while now and I support many of the small businesses regularly. I only started coming here 2-3 times before this incident. ( all of them being within the past month) Unfortunately, they have lost me as a customer and that's that. Be very careful how you order and have her repeat the order many times if you need to. For ME, I am easy. If she would have removed the item and not charged me we would have been fine. But to argue with me and charge me and then get one of my items with bean sprouts and I specifically asked for it without.... That's on the business. read more

The food is really good here. I usually do take-out but decided to dine in yesterday. It was pretty busy inside possibly due to the holiday. The service was pretty slow but I tried to be understanding since it was pretty busy and there was only one server. When our server finally made her way over to us after sitting for 10-15 min we ordered drinks and one food item as we were still looking at the rest of the menu. She didn't come back to take our order until 15-20 minutes later when she brought out our the only food item we got to order- the Papaya Salad (really good!) However another table had came in 5 minutes before that and she went to take their order first even though we we had been ready for some time at that point :/ Anyways after that we had been waiting forever for our food. The table that came in after us even though we'd been waiting a long time at that point got served first, and with all of the food at the same time. However each one of the food items we ordered came out 5-10 minutes apart. Since I couldn't enjoy all of my food at the same time since they came out sporadically, I got full quick and I ended up taking home the last dish that was served, the Red Curry. To top off my annoyance from last night, I heated up the curry today and start eating it only to get this in my mouth. It looks like some plastic broke off of a dish and ended up in my curry. Beef Salad: Not your boring kind of salad this salad got the oui mami flavors, saltiness, sour and spicy. Must try!!!! Papaya Salad: Such a refreshing taste of green papaya and carrots in fish sauce and lime juice. My absolute favorite! Chef special-Chicken Wings: you can not go there and not order this!
