I've not been to this restaurant since my days of working on Westchester. My friend suggested it and it did not disappoint. I had the green curry with spice level at a two which was hotter than I thought. It was still delicious. I added crispy tofu and replaced eggplant with broccoli. So good. My friend had chicken with mixed vegetables and brown rice and asked for extra vegetables, but did not get them originally. The gentleman eventually brought her the mixed vegetables and they looked pretty nice. They had soy sauce on the table, but it was a little saltier than expected. I wish they'd had the low sodium version which is usually really good. I will keep this one on the list as I'm a Thai lover And will visit more when I'm in the area. read more

We enjoyed the fresh roll and steamed shrimp dumpling and I loved the Thai chicken coconut soup. For my meal, I ordered the chicken larb salad level 4 spicy with side of jasmine rice and oh my god.. it was so spicy yet addicting. My cousin had the green curry beef level 2 spicy and it was also really spicy. So if you are novice on Thai spice try the level 1 first because the spicy here is no joke. You've been warned. My wife and I had sushi here for a spur of the moment belated b-day dinner a couple of nights ago. The simple strip mall location belies the excellent and food and service of this establishment. Food was brought quickly by our attentive waitress. Their female sushi chef definitely knows her craft and they're clearly using very high quality ingredients - the sushi was excellent. The food I had tasted fine but the service was lacking. I came during off hours and it still took them forever just to get me a salad and they forgot the other item I requested. Also, this is not the place to go if you want a relaxing meal. Apparently there's child around 5 years old who is there most of the time and runs around the place and plays his video game on a high volume with aloud voice. I have a child around the same age and I'm always very aware of others when we go to eat because people pay good money to have a nice restaurant experience. This isn't Chuck E Cheese. I've been to Thai Herb several times in the past year and honestly, it's a hit or miss. Sometimes my food turns out great and other times it turns out meh (and I get the same thing each time). Unfortunately, the last time I went convinced me not to go out of my way again to go here. I usually get their Pad Thai and their level of spicy definitely ranges depending on when you go? I always ask for medium, but sometimes I get it really spicy and other times I get no spice, at all. Their maki rolls are a good deal -- I think 3 rolls for $9? These are also a hit or miss, as well. Their salmon roll... last time I went, they use smoked salmon so it's really really salty and not very good. I do not recommend getting their Thai Tea. It's more like a splash of Thai Tea and 90% condensed milk. My friends ordered it and we asked if this was the way its supposed to be (it was a very very faint orange color) and they said it was? Knowing how Thai Tea is supposed to look and taste like, we unfortunately had to return it back to the kitchen. It was just condensed milk...and we were not trying to pay $3.95 for ice and condensed milk. Price is great for lunch -- includes a small spring roll and small salad as an appetizer. Thai Herb is one of my favorite spots for exemplary curry dishes. I've been to Thai Herb many times and I try to get something different each time, just to make things interesting. You never know when you'll find your favorite! However, I absolutely adore their Mango Curry. I've been to many Thai restaurants and this curry is so rich, flavorful, and is the perfect dish when you're wanting something warm and comforting. It is filled with fresh peppers, onions, thai basil, and sweet pieces of mango. And when you add all of that rich, curry broth over your rice, what is before you will leave you more than satisfied. My boy friend and I call it "candy rice" because it's sweet, sticky, rich and delicious. Wow, enough about that... The service here is typically flawless, but they usually only have one or two people working the tables. I've never been when it's packed, but they handle their tables well. I love that they give you a sample of their soup of the day, and a spring roll. It's the perfect beginning for what's to come. Their sushi is also great, as well as their Thai salads. Yum Woon Sen is my favorite. It's a cold noodle salad filled with shrimp, ground chicken, onion, scallion, glass noodles, celery and tomato all encompassed in a spicy sour sauce. It's not for everyone, but it's the perfect, light and spicy dish when you're not craving something hearty like the curry I mentioned earlier. I've never had their desserts, but I'm sure their delicious! You can get a carafe of Sake for $3.95 and it's a wonderful accompaniment to any of their Thai staples. My partner in crime copied my order chicken fried rice medium spicy. He usually likes it really hot but of course with this being our first time here he didn't want to jump the gun on it. It turned out to be pretty spicy usually considered hot at other Thai restaurants but I made it thanks to drink refills. Husband was happy too. Overall I think it's a great value for lunch. They had lunch specials even on a Sunday which most restaurants don't offer. Our total came to $18 with 2 fried rice lunch special and 2 diet cokes. As a lunch special we got a spring roll and salad. Didn't care much for the salad dressing but the spring roll is delicious just wish it was a little bigger.
