At first this service started off a little slow. We did have a party of nine. But the staff was very friendly. Everything tasted amazing the money bags, a.k.a. crab wontons you'll want to order. They're pretty small. The calamari was good. It was also a small portion the tuna shots they were amazing. Tuna wrapped with crab salad and a Ponzu sauce. The lettuce wraps were pretty good. Wish there was a sauce to drizzle over top for the main course. I had the pad Thai now most Thai places they ask you how hot do you want it and we usually order the spices that they have And it's not spicy enough. Be careful with this place. I didn't even get Thai spicy and it was very spicy unless she made it Thai spicy. Overall highly recommend this place plus barrel & coe is right next-door so you can just walk in and grab a drink.

I can't believe that I have not been here to eat yet. My first experience was pretty amazing and I will definitely be back. I got Thai yellow curry, tofu and we shared a volcano roll as an appetizer. The curry had all of the right flavors. It was more Brothy than creamy compared to other curries I have had but still delicious! Just the right amount of heat also! The volcano role was a smoked salmon roll that was deep-fried tempura style. I normally do not get cooked rolls, but this one was amazing! The aesthetic of the restaurant is super quaint and a great place if you want to have a quiet evening with amazing food.

The food is amazing. Service is great, they are super friendly with a nice ambiance. The sushi is very fresh and the apps were delicious. On top of this their mixed drinks are very impressive and delicious. Definitely recommend to go.

We dined her a couple weeks ago. We had a tennis banquet in the lower room area of the restaurant. The space is very nice and perfect for a party. There's a completely separate bar for this area as well as a TV, karaoke and couches. It was a bit chilly in that room but it warmed up once the space was filled with people. There's also a cool fake swing for IG pics. The food was delicious. I had chicken pad Thai and my husband had shrimp pad Thai. Both were really good. Others at our table had drunken noodles, beef pho, lettuce wraps, spring rolls and a shrimp app. Everyone said their food was good and the portions were decent. We'll definitely be back.

A very clean and open concept. Walked in and was seated right away. Business was busy and it took a while for our server to greet us. Service was steady after the wait. We ordered the sampler which was very good. A great way to enjoy several items. The roll was so flavorful. Highly recommend!

Everything we got was very good! We split 4 plates for 4 people and had leftovers for the next day. My favorite was the pineapple chicken dish. I wish the lettuce wraps had bigger pieces of lettuce but it tasted delicious!

We dined in with a group of 7, we arrived about 30 minutes before they closed and we were still treated with 5 staff service. Our waitress was beefy friendly and helpful with questions we had on the menu and suggestions. She recommend a tuna sushi roll that was a great bite of fresh air with a hint of sweetness. The sauce for the calamari was 10/10, just wish the calamari had been a tiny bigger. Lettuce wraps were filled with flavor and well seasoned. For my main entree I had the Pork Pad Thai, Pork was nicely cooked and had crunchy edges, adding texture to every bite alongside the peanuts. I ordered medium spicy and this was the first time I can say it was actually spicy. Definitely recommend adding it if you like a little kick, but probably would recommend the light spicy. Restaurant had great lighting with natural flowers at each table. Great experience and great staff.

This hidden, unassuming gem in Jamestown is perfect for a date night at the bar with cocktails, apps, and entrées or quick and tasty takeout for when you don't want to people. Of particular tasty tasty note is the Lady Gaga roll. Delicious, fresh salmon is beset by some sweet cream cheese and sriracha--absolute sushi perfection. The rest of the pan-Asian menu offers warm and hearty curries, spicy and savory rice dishes, and dumplings, rolls, and skewers galore. There's not a ton of real estate inside if it gets crowded--tight corners and limited space may make you feel a tad closed-in, but in this humble foodie's opinion, it's more than worth it.

    Kimberly B.

The food was adequate, nothing special. Extremely overpriced. Especially when you consider the atmosphere inside. Small wooden tables, no table clothes, just blah. My son really likes Asian foods, so since we were near here, we decided to try it. The server was pleasant and asked if we needed anything else. That was about the extent of service. I don't think we will be back. It's just not worth it. Try someplace else.

This place was delicious. I have been meaning to eat here for a while. They did not disappoint. The lettuce wraps were a perfect amount of food that filled me up. The money bags is their spin off of crab rangoon's, and they were delicious! I will definitely be coming again.

Walking in, the aesthetic of the restaurant was so pleasing. It was a nice and calming atmosphere and I give the ambiance 10/10. The dressing for the salad was interesting. Personally I found it a bit too sour for my liking. Service was nice and drinks were good. I recommend the Sake Pomegranate Martini if you have a sweet tooth, very delicious, it was like drinking a fruity donut! For entrees I tried the Spicy Basil Fried Rice with chicken and Pad Thai with beef. The fried rice was flavorful and the chicken was so tender and juicy. Definitely lots of flavors to work with but also a nice portion for the price. I wish the Pad Thai was cooked with a bit more sauce but it was still good!

I really love Simply Thai. I have not been to the Burlington location but I love the Jamestown location. The restaurant is small and intimate with a Modern Industrial flare. The food has always been fresh and the service has always been pretty fast. Whenever I have friends in town I bring them here and everyone has always been very pleased.

Didn't have a reservation, but they were able to seat us at the bar right away! Every part was superb, from the wait staff, to the food, to the atmosphere. 10/10 would recommend, especially the spicy tuna roll and the lady gaga roll! Their Thai curries are delicious as well!

I liked the ambience of the restaurant and our server was pleasant. The orange dragon roll with mango was sublime and I will definitely return just for that. On the downside, I found the other things I ordered somewhat inedible. The edamame wasn't steamed enough so it was incredibly difficult to pop them out of their pods to eat. I got tired of trying. My friend ordered the vegetable tempura app and she offered me a sweet potato since that is my favorite. It hadn't cooked all the way through in the center so again difficult to eat. The other roll I ordered had eel in it. Now I have eaten quite a lot eel before but I never had tasted eel so chewy. The mouth feel was so gross that I ended up spitting it out. I think this place has a lot of good qualities so I am willing to give them another shot but I would like to remind their chefs to slow down to ensure that the food is cooked more properly so it would be more enjoyable to its patrons.

After placing a call to Little Tokyo to confirm they too weren't filled to capacity, we headed there for our sushi fix, and it made me regret not having visited sooner. Little Tokyo boasts a pleasant, relaxing ambiance that made it a welcome refuge from the night's rather intense rain. The menu here is Japanese (sushi, sashimi, hibachi, etc.) albeit with some Korean and Chinese influences. The selection of sushi rolls is extensive, and quite a few of them sounded intriguing. Admittedly, the Italian (a California roll topped with white fish, tomato sauce, and cheese) was a bridge too far even for me. My wife and I came hungry and went with two apps (steamed dumplings and vegetable gyoza), four rolls, and two misos. The food was, across the board, quite good. Whereas some miso can blast you with salt, Little Tokyo's broth benefitted from an underlying richness. Our sushi was beautifully plated and tasted fresh. Of the rolls we tried, the Bulgoki (beef, crab, cucumber, and eel sauce) was my favorite. Prices here are reasonable for the quality of the food (rolls in the low-mid teens, most apps under $10), and severs are polite. The kitchen isn't lightning fast, but we didn't find the wait unreasonable. Based on ratings, I expected "good," and based on hunger levels and a desire to be out of the rain, I would have settled for "OK." Little Tokyo, however, ended up being surprisingly great.

Toshi's is an absolute gem I've made the mistake of passing by far too many times!. My wife and I stopped in for breakfast recently on a Saturday morning, and really enjoyed it. In addition to breakfast, they also serve a variety of fresh made sushi rolls, bowls, and sandwiches. They offer a variety of hot and cold coffee drinks, and smoothies as well. Their pricing is fantastic, and the quality is top notch as well. They offer indoor seating, but also have a small, but covered patio space in the front. While I was waiting on my order I decided to browse around the cafe and there was LOTS to look at. I love how they still kept a big collection of manga books lined up the wall (btw the books are only read in Japanese not in English). They even have lots of cute stationary items for sale, yummy Japanese snacks and drinks, and they even have some video games to play, too! My iced mocha was great and even the spicy salmon roll was just as delicious as I remembered. There's a mini fridge where you can grab as much sauce and wasabi as you like, plus below the rack it looks like they have some homemade desserts as well. Overall, I was so happy checking out Toshi's Cafe again! I def recommend this spot to anyone looking for some good sushi, coffee, made to order sandwiches, and more!

In the end, I just don't feel my original 5 holds up. The restaurant is absolutely a super cool concept, tech forward, and fun for groups and people new to the sushi scene to try some things. When it comes to the actual eating experience though, the taste just doesn't hit home for me the way it did when it opened. Every sushi roll I got was so over-coated in sauces that it's all you could taste in your bite. That's either a heavy handed chef, or a mask for flavors you might not enjoy. In my mouth unfortunately, it just makes a texture-less mess, and part of what I enjoy about sushi is the layering of textures. Not that I expect to be blown away by AYCE sushi, but I had hoped for better than what I got. More simple nigiri pieces were ok. The seared tuna wasn't seared at all really, no brown carbonization, just a little grey. That doesn't impart the desired flavor. Hibachi options were also just fine, when originally, that was a strong point here. That people who didn't absolutely love sushi would still have good option to order. There was one vegetarian roll that included strawberry, mango, avocado that was very good, but again, the amount of sweet chili sauce poured over it was overbearing. I found myself scraping it off any way I could. Finally, one very annoying thing. The items on the conveyor didn't have any labels. Not even our server knew what some of them are. It's common practice to put a little flag before a row of items goes out so people know what they are. It creates food waste, or shuts people with some kind of allergy off entirely due to not knowing what things are. All in all, the novelty of the eye candy has worn off for me, and I just don't enjoy the food as much as other options in the area, even in the AYCE sushi space. But, this is definitely an experience a first timer would love, and it's fun for families.

I just wasn't expecting this level of authenticity in High Point. My daughter and I stopped in on Saturday, May 23, and spent $61.39 on dinner and drinks. I almost skipped it entirely because raw fish just is not my thing. Smoked salmon, yes. Raw seafood, usually not happening. Then I noticed they had cooked poke bowls and customizable options, so we gave it a shot. The food hall was not busy when we visited, so service moved quickly. After ordering, they handed us a buzzer and our food came out fast. We ended up getting everything to go. I ordered the large Strawberry Blossom tea refresher. It had a really good fruity flavor, although it started out a little sweeter than I like. I added some extra ice and that fixed it immediately. My daughter got the Peach Paradise tea refresher, and hers was excellent from the first sip. Both drinks were large and definitely worth the price. We shared the Firecracker Roll, and they had no problem adjusting the spice level for us. Normally it comes with spicy tuna and spicy sauces, but they toned it down without making a big deal about it. The roll came with ten pieces, topped with fresh tuna instead of the spicy tuna, crunchy bits, scallions, and sauce. Plenty for two people to split, and we still brought a couple pieces home. It was delicious! For my meal, I ordered the Chicken Poke Bowl from the cooked menu section. I am glad I spotted that menu because it completely changed my mind about eating there. Every bite was fresh and flavorful. The vegetables were crisp, the rice was cooked right, and the sauces pulled everything together without making the bowl heavy. I upgraded to the fried chicken for an extra dollar. The breading did not stay on perfectly, but that was a small issue compared to how good the bowl tasted overall. Even the bites without chicken were good enough to stand on their own. The chicken was crispy and well seasoned. My daughter built her own poke bowl, which honestly looked like the fun option. You go down the line choosing your base, proteins, mix-ins, sauces, toppings, and crunchy add-ons. There were a lot of choices, but it still felt simple and easy to follow. Everything looked fresh, colorful, and made to order. The restaurant itself was clean, modern, and organized. The staff stayed friendly, and the whole place had a relaxed vibe. It was a bit pricey, but I think worth it. This place definitely earned a return visit from me, especially considering I almost walked past it because of the raw fish focus. Must order: Firecracker Roll and the Chicken Poke Bowl & Peach Paradise bubble tea Tip: If raw seafood is not your thing, check the cooked menu before you decide. There are plenty of good options.
