Absolutely delicious. My boyfriend had the Tamarind duck, I had the pad see ewe with shrimp and we shared the dumplings and the lettuce wraps. Everything was very very yummy. Then we had to wait 40 min to get our food I got the pad Thai chicken I had to switch because it smelt like Petco and got the crispy rice shrimp and that was okay. Awful! Been going to Khun Thai, another Thai restaurant in town for years which is excellent. My wife and daughter wanted to try something different. When your Thai dumplings don't taste so good you know you're in trouble. My daughter ordered Pad Thai, the most basic of all Thai dishes, and it was just bland. My wife ordered the peanut chicken and this dish was also bland and tasteless. I ordered the Wok glazed crispy ginger duck which was also bland and unexciting AND came out cold. Back to Khun Thai as our staple for amazing Thai. How does this place even survive in Millburn? Lastly, the service was not great. The waitress brought us the wrong dish twice and did the same thing to the table next to us. Glad I had some wine at the table ..... or this experience would have been worse. read more

Thai House is by far my favorite restaurant in the area. I've ordered several of the items on the menu and have never been disappointed with the freshness, great flavor and portion size. The quality of their food is always consistent no matter what time of day you go there to eat. Their food is simply amazing! Kevin, one of the owners, is extremely customer focused and always makes me and my guests feel very special. My favorite items are the Thai Crispy Shrimp, Traditional Fried Rice, Chicken Satay with an amazing peanut dipping sauce, the chicken dumplings, massaman curry with shrimp or chicken, sesame/ginger string beans with shrimp, BBQ spare ribs and mango chicken. Food didn't taste good. Not authentic Thai food. Red curry was too salty, green curry was too creamy and sweet and not spicy for green curry. Ton yum soup was very Watery and didn't have any taste!! The Mango Tango was excellent. They have delicious brown rice here but I wish they gave you a bit more. Spring rolls were also good. However, the second time I came here, the Pad Thai was not very good. Something was just off about it and Pad Thai is always my go-to in Thai restaurants so that was disappointing. read more

We have been to this restaurant before and are getting mixed feelings about it. The food is definitely good but it always seems to arrive cold. When we ordered the appetizer which was a shrimp dish, they served us some vegetarian one. As I wasn't certain whether I'd find shrimp in it, I said nothing. We ate about half the food and asked for the rest to be packaged. When I arrived home only 1 of the meals had been packaged. The rice was missing. So, what can I glean from this experience? Someone there can't understand English. Someone in the back threw out my meal. Whatever. I really hope they improve because they really can be a great restaurant. After waiting for over 40 minutes for our entrees, the manager came to the table (after the waitress already apologized for the wait) and asked us what we had ordered. Meanwhile, we noticed that over half of the restaurant had either left or were complaining about the service. When the food arrived, it was pretty tasty. We went to this place for dinner on a Thursday night and it was not terribly crowded. The service was great, very attentive. We ordered the summer rolls to start. They were slightly disappointing. They were soggy and there was very little mango. I would skip them next time. The remainder of the meal was delicious. My sons had the peanut chicken and it was cooked to perfection (there was a slight peanut taste and was not lathered in peanut butter as some places have done). The brown rice was the best brown rice I ever had!! It was called lemon pepper brown rice. The Pad Thai was good but not great. The portion was slightly small. The lunch special is a pretty good deal. However what knocked off a star was the super long wait. I came in on a Tuesday afternoon around 12:50pm to order two entrees from the lunch menu. I forgot the name of the dish but it was stir fried broad noodles with shrimp ($8) and the general tso's chicken ($8). The place was completely empty with the exception of two tables during lunch time. And me. The cashier told me it would be ten minutes, which was fine. However, the lunch take out took 20 minutes. Which, given the fact that there was no one in the restaurant, is sort of unacceptable. The food was really good and my boyfriend and I both enjoyed the take out very much. I highly recommend their tom kha soup - it was very delicious. However, what lost this place another star was that the lunch special was on the small side (even for a lunch special). Will definitely come again as the food was good but was offput by the long wait time. A solid three stars. read more

Dare i say, my favorite thai place. For vegetarians, i really recommend the golden crispy tofu and the pad thai. Pad see ew is really good too. The thai iced tea is a little overpriced ,but good as well. The aura always calm as they are never too busy when I go. The seats are okay, the area is very clean. We ordered a pad Thai and a pineapple fried rice with chicken both had stringy flavorless microwave chicken in the meal. What a disaster. Service is embarrassingly horrible and they dont seem to care. i walked around the place and told people to leave. Some did. That is how bad this place is. very strange, dark decor in this restaurant and the food was even less appealing than the site. a few dishes arrived cold- the noodles were very greasy and bland. Noticed this place opened and had to give it a try since we're not awed by other Thai places in the vicinity. All of the four dishes we tried (chicken satay, roti canai, beef with spicy basil sauce, and massaman chicken) were absolutely delicious. We will so be back on a regular basis. The only criticism, which is a personal preference, is that they don't seem to have chicken curry puffs as an appetizer or pad kee mao (drunken noodles), oh well. All the dishes were very fresh and flavorful with just the right amount of heat. All of our plates were wiped clean. Can't wait to try some of the other things on the menu. read more

The only not so great things were that the waitresses didn't know how to explain the menu, and the menu is not very descriptive. Like "Thai dessert" ... I'm a Portuguese girl from Newark, don't know what a typical "Thai dessert" is ... BUT IT WAS SO GOOD!
