Noticed they raised the lunch special to $18.95 now. Ordered the orange chicken and green curry with Thai tea. The food and drinks were still good. Very quick and nice service. Wish they will offer soup instead of salad as part of their lunch specials. They used to let you pick soup or salad, but now it's a just salad option. Love that they have the AC on full blast, especially for a super hot day.

I've been here a handful of times with my coworkers now. It's located in the same plaza as Costco. Overall not a fan of the plaza but the restaurant is over by the gas station and parking has never been an issue. We are usually a party of 5-8 and they are able to accommodate larger parties which is nice. We've never had to wait for a table. Service has been good every time and they offer lunch specials. We typically order multiple dishes and share family style. The avocado rolls are really good, yellow curry, green beans, noodle dishes.

I've been waiting to try this place out for a while and I'm glad I did. I ordered gravy noodles with honey black tea and it didn't disappoint. The noodles are flavorful and I keep wanting to eat the whole thing in one sitting. The food came out fast and hot, the interior looks a bit dark and spacious. Overall, it's a good Thai spot to check out.

So my review is basically for the service and the food. Service was great! Everyone is super kind and friendly. Food was absolutely delicious. My boyfriend and I ordered the lunch special, which is $17.95. It comes with salad, an entree, and a drink. The boyfriend got the Pad Thai and I got the chicken curry. Both were extremely flavorful! I was a big fan of the chicken curry. The chicken is cooked very well, not soggy at all. I loved the carrots and potatoes, but I wish there was more! For the Pad Thai, it was made really well. The noodles had a good bite to them and the shrimp was tasty. Portion sizes were very impressive too. One issue that I found was, unfortunately there was a fly in my drink that I didn't notice until later. All in all, sometimes things happen, but I'll be back as the food and service was really good.

We came to eat on a Saturday around noon. We found parking close to the mattress store. There was no wait. The food was good. Ok for if you are in the area and want thai food. Waiters were nice and attentive.

Stopped by to grab dinner before a Costco run, because the OGs know going into a market on an empty stomach is dangerous! We were seated right away and they had a high chair for the baby. Service was nice and friendly. They had the football game on their tv which was nice for customers to enjoy. Their menu is extensive and they have a lunch special as well. I order the pad kee mow which was tasty and I finished the whole portion. The veggies felt undercooked IMO but otherwise I liked the ratio of noodles to veggies and protein. They spicy Thai fried rice had a very similar flavor to pad kee mow, if not the same seasonings. Sam veggie as well. I thought the portions were just okay considering the price point of the food. Overall, it's nice to have a non- fast food sit down restaurant in this plaza as an option for those wanting a healthier option.

The food is delicious. Every dish was tasty. Pad See Ew - Combo Fried Rice - Paenang Curry. The curry doesnt come with rice. So you gotta get that on the side. The restaurant is new and the lighting is great. Great vibe. The best of this place is the service. Everyone is attentive. Parking is super easy. Big lot. Same lot as Costco. Overall: Will return when I got to Costco.

I ordered the Chicken Curry ($17.95 - Lunch Special). It's spicy yellow curry with juicy chicken, tender potatoes, and carrots in coconut milk. The Lunch Special also includes a drink (selected Thai iced tea), steamed rice, and a small salad. To my immense surprise, it's very delicious!! Thai House (Monterey Park) has very talented chefs! (Quick Note: Lunch Special is served Monday - Friday from 11AM to 3PM.) I arrived at Thai House (Monterey Park) on Friday (around 1:15PM). Parking is convenient since the lot is big. However, traffic congestion is bothersome; cars move slowly at times because it's located by a busy Costco. Staff is the low point of this experience. Staff (receipt says Samantha) is terse, anxious, and difficult to wave down. Compared to many other restaurants, the Staff at Thai House (Monterey Park) felt very inexperienced. Samantha never offered water; Samantha never checked on me; Samantha always vanished; and I had to walk across the business just to waive down any Staff member to get the bill. Concerning the food time, my meal arrived within seven minutes and 24 seconds. Very fast! As mentioned, I absolutely adored the Chicken Curry ($17.95 - Lunch Special). Its potatoes are soft and tender; the rice is clean and hungrily absorbs the curry's broth; the curry is well-seasoned and flavorful with a spicy punch; and the juicy chicken fell apart easily in my mouth. I happily feasted. In addition, I was pleasant surprised at the Thai tea's good quality. It's not watered down; rather, the bold & crisp flavor of tea shined confidently. Concerning the salad, it's generic; if you imagined wet lettuce, your mind is correct. Regarding ambiance, Thai House (Monterey Park) is attractive and sleek. It's all very shiny, clean, and modern. The decor is beautiful, and the location appears well-maintained. Overall, I found happiness with my meal at Thai House (Monterey Park). Although Staff was unmemorable, the food's quality and affordability is bafflingly phenomenal. I left full and happy with a wide grin. If you love Thai food, this is an easy recommendation. 4.9 out of 5. Go!!

Our favorite Thai food place moved!! They use to be next to ELAC on Atlantic and have now moved to a bigger space and with their OWN bathroom haha (iykyk) I was happy to see the staff moved to the new place. They are always very friendly to us and our daughters and very attentive to make sure we have what we need. The food is amazing as always. Does look like their rice bowl and hot pot soups look better, but flavor is still there! We have been faithful customer for over 10 years. Always recommend them if you're in the area!

Located in the same plaza right across from Costco! They are giving 10% off the entire bill during their soft opening! It's very spacious inside and staff were really nice! Food and portion was good!

We love Thai House! This new location recently opened up in the Monterey Park Marketplace where Costco is located and we had to try it. It is nicely decorated and has a spacious dining area. We were seated right away. The service was great! We ordered 4 dishes for 5 of us and had plenty of leftovers to bring home. We couldn't believe how fast the dishes were served after placing our order.

Located in shopping center across from Costco, has a dedicated parking lot. Been waiting for this place to open since blaze pizza closed. Wasn't crowded when we came for a weekday lunch. Has a good assortment of lunch specials, on the pricier side because it comes with a drink and soup, lunch size portions. Nice newly renovated decor and great service. I got the green curry spicy- tasted and looked more like panang curry and wasn't spicy at all.... Chicken pad see ew- tasty and glad they put gai laan in it and not broccoli Thai tea and coffee were good! The soup that came with it was better than salad. If you're already shopping in the center nice to pop in for a meal, but otherwise a little out of the way to battle entering the Marketplace plaza.

We really liked it! Great portions! We ordered our favorite Tom Yum shrimp soup and a large bowl of white rice! Service was good. There's free parking and easy walk up. I did not need to make reservations on a weekday night. It's near a major shopping area, so easy access. I like the high ceilings. It reminds me of a small version Saladang (Thai restaurant, large,in Pasadena).

As the name of the bakery implies, it's "Perfectly Sweet"…read more I'm generally a bit more wary of purchasing baked goods from non-Asian bakeries since they tend to be sweeter than what my palate likes, but not here! The hours are a bit limited, but I managed to make it in time to grab some pre-made baked goods to go. I got a bag of coconut macaroons, bag of several chocolate chip cookies, 2 red velvet cookies, a baked dog cookie biscuit, and a cute Keroppi sugar cookie. Most of these ended up being gifts, but I did enjoy one of the red velvet cookies and for an already sweet flavor profile with white chocolate chips in it, I was already fearing the worse, but went perfect with a glass of milk. The edges were nicely crisped by the baking too. Delicious. Love that they had a stock of cute, pre-decorated cookies available as well (some Sanrio characters, animals, etc.) They also list all the ingredients used in each of the baked goods that they have prepackaged, which is nice. The girl working the counter was a young girl just getting by her summer day job. She was nice but timid. It was our first time there and a little more energy on her end could've been better. Ordered the ube swirl, pineapple dole whip, mung bean taiyaki, and a custard one togo. The taiyaki that goes onto the ice cream is a lot bigger than one we ordered to go. I thought it would be as big, but when I got it, it was so much smaller and flat. Also, the taiyaki that goes on top of the ice cream was old. It had been sitting there for a while or was made earlier as it was hard and difficult to bite. The red bean inside I also assumed was a paste like how they make the Japanese version, however there were whole pieces in there. It was okay, but I thought they'd be like paste. Overall, the only thing that was good was the ube swirl and the pineapple dole whip. It was also extremely warm in the shop, like no AC in the triple digits summer heat. Had to eat it elsewhere. I most likely won't be back.

My friends and I chose Salju Dessert for some nice dessert because the ratings of this location seemed pretty good, but sadly we were disappointed. We chose the milk flavor and pandan. The milk flavor wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special. The pandan on the other hand was very bitter... We thought it may have been the toppings but figured out it was the pandan flavor. My friend described it as a medicine bitter taste, which I could agree on. We made a complaint and the employees happily switched it out for us for another milk flavor (maybe we should've chosen another flavor to try.) Toppings... the toppings were extremely expensive for such a small portion. It was around like $1.49 per topping??? Which is honestly pretty crazy. The toppings are set on the side in those small plastic ketchup containers. 4 Oreo cookies for $1.49, 2-3 buttercups smashed into pieces for $1.49, 1.5 strawberry sliced for $1.49, 1/8 of a banana sliced for $1.49... a container of chocolate syrup $1.49 you can imagine the rest that we added. Those portion sizes and prices are messed up lol The total was $35+ for 2 smalls with additional toppings. Overall, I don't think we will be coming back here for the shaved ice. There's definitely better options out there. The place was pretty busy too, maybe there's other items on the menu worth trying or they got bamboozled by the ratings... but in this economy, the presentation, taste, and price was not worth it and we wish we spent our money elsewhere. I usually take photos to share to friends on snap/ social media, but it was so disappointing I didn't even take any pics to show y'all. Very mid tier. Thank you to the staff who replaced our pandan though!
