    Coffee milk tea
    Ben L.

I ordered coffee milk tea without boba. ($6 including tax) Flavor was great. It is quite different from my expectation. I kinda feel earl grey (not sure but maybe. That's how i tasted like) and some ordinary milk tea flavor as well. I think i like this combination. It came out super fast as well. (In 1minute)

Super fresh teas! I finally came back here after a few years, and the drink we got was so refreshing and fresh. The tea was still warm, and the boba was super fresh with a great texture. Very reasonably priced, and they make the drinks quickly. Solid spot!

Convenient boba shop located on Main Street. Not too busy when I went but it was never empty. They have a few interesting drinks like woodear mushroom which oddly was very sweet. We also tried their Thai tea that was still powdery. The chicken popcorn was alright. Overall just a standard boba shop but at least their prices are fine.

My new favorite tea spot! Has been on my to try for several months and finally went this weekend. Went back both days already! The service is friendly and pretty fast for them making things after you order. The inside is very clean and decent number of tables/chairs. I had the Jasmine MT and Bobacraft MT both with blue boba. Both were great, had nice tea flavor without it being too overpowering. The blue boba was chewy and soft. Hubby had the pink matcha and mango MT, he liked them too. The wheelcakes hit the spot. They were not overly sweet and plenty of filling inside. We tried the popcorn chicken and tempura, not overly oily and were tasty. Will be coming back!

This place is really good! I've been twice now - i got the tofu pudding (tasty!) and the wheelcake (incredible!). Everyone has always been very nice. There's some seating and its cute. There are a LOT of options here. I want to try their drinks sometime but i keep coming too late in the day for me to have matcha. My husband got the coffee affogado and he loved it. I had a taste and it was really great - perfect for the hot weather outside! Definitely will come back. It's on main street so parking is limited.

Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Boba

Bobacraft has been amongst the restaurants of Main St for a while; how did it take me so long to venture in? For starters, parking is fairly easy either on the street or in the small garage with a 2-hour limit. On a weekday afternoon, there was ample space. After walking in, I noticed that it was surprisingly stuffy and humid. The a/c was also not running at the time of visit, and the door was wide open. While there may at times be no one at the counter, you can ask for service when ready. Perhaps the most annoying part of the experience, though, would be browsing the menu. The TV screens that have the menu are rotating, and each screen switches (why?) within a few seconds. Not only did this cause anxiety but also result in me frantically trying to find where the items went... which screen do I look for? I wasn't sure what to order, so I settled for their Brown Sugar Boba, half sweet. The boba was just the right texture, and that amount of sugar was also just right so as to be not too sweet. Working here? Despite the stuffy environment, there is Wi-Fi. The music is a tad on the louder side, and there may be constant foot traffic and ambient street noise but overall workable.

The service was great, super informative and nice man took our order. Not a lot of seating, but we were lucky to get a table for 5 of us. It was about 85 degrees outside, while cooler inside, it was still a little warm, so we took our drinks home to drink. Over all the boba itself tasted good! The blue one is super sweet, so just beware if you order full sugar it will be more sweet. The chewiness was great. I got a watermelon drink with blue boba with 30% sugar. It was yummy! Just would pull back more on sugar level. I would go back!

    Bobacraft Milk Tea, Pink Matcha
    Lauren B.

Bobacraft cafe has a decent selection of drinks and snacks, including wheel cakes and popcorn chicken. The menu does have a few standout/unique drinks like their woodear crystal selection. I ordered their signature Bobacraft Milk Tea with boba (70% sweetness) and their Pink Matcha Latte (50% sweetness). The pink matcha latte was tasty and refreshing. It had some strawberry mixed in and felt like just the right amount of sweetness and flavor. I was disappointed with the Bobacraft milk tea, which tasted watered down and lacked flavor. However, the boba saved the drink, bringing a kick of sweetness and a chewy texture to top it off. If ordering the milk tea, I recommend getting either a regular sweetness or less ice for it. The cafe itself was cute, with an appropriate amount of seating to wait for drinks or just hangout. The cafe also seems understaffed, so hopefully they get more help soon.

Place is a little bit messy. I almost walked out because of it. Decided yo stay and ordered drink. Apparently, not enough worker. They are hiring if anyone interested in becoming a " Bobarista " Anyway, ordered the watermelon drinks with blue boba. OMG! Its so good! I'm glad that I stick around.

Tried Bobacraft for the first time with a friend. There were a lot of unique drinks on the menu, but since it I wanted a caffeine free option I stuck with the taro milk tea. It was pretty good, but I think the highlight of the cafe are their wheel cakes. They're made fresh with each order so it takes a bit of time to come out, but it's worth it. They reminded me of taiyaki, but since it's thicker there's more filling with each bite. It was my first time having it, but according to my friend, Bobacraft gives way more filling compared to other places she's tried. Overall a chill place to hang out if you're out late and want some dessert.

    Popcorn Chicken Rice
    Jin C.

My visit here very positive, particularly due to the friendly service and excellent popcorn chicken with rice. The texture of the popcorn chicken was crispy, flavorful and perfectly seasoned. While the veggies and rice gave a good contrast to the overall flavor of the dish. The interior contributed to my positive experience, being notably clean. Overall, highly recommend you give this place a try. Again, Popcorn Chicken 10/10

First time to try this place and it exceeded my expectations. I like that there were milk alternatives and a non dairy option. You can also customize the ice and sweetness level. I was especially impressed by the mushroom drink. It tasted creamy, coconut, mushroom. But with that combination none over powered the other. The popcorn chicken had a good crunchy coating to it. The fries in the poutine were seasoned well. It consisted of cheese and gravy. I liked that parking was right around the corner.

Mango Green Tea with Lychee Jelly

I came by recently to grab a drink after work and it wasn't too busy when I dropped by. Service was quick and friendly and they have a wide variety of drinks to choose from and they also make food here so you can easily have a lunch or dinner meal here from snacks like fries and popcorn chicken to rice plates. They also specialize in made to order wheel cakes which take about 20 minutes to make but look amazing. I have to get those next time I stop by. I got the Mango Green Tea with lychee jelly when I visited and it was refreshing, sweet, and much needed after work. Ambience was inviting and it was brightly lit and there is plenty of seating available if you want to work/study there. Prices are comparable to most shops in the area. If you are in Alhambra, come give Bobacraft a try.

Do they still offer those custard wheel Cakes? Been craving and can't find any around my area!

    Did boba Craft closed down?

As far as I know, no & I hope not. However, my last visit was 2 weeks ago. Oh, & they're open 6 days/week, closed on Mondays.

Do I need to reserve the savory wheelcake ahead of time?

No, but you'll have less of a wait time if you pre-order since they're made-to-order, it can take 30+ mins. if they're busy, especially during lunch/dinner rush.

    Are the wheelchairs dairy free?

Hi wondering if you guys are still open?

I went inside June 4th 2021, there was no indoor seating but takeout available

Hi. Does the shop still open w outside simple sit? And, the business hour is? Thx Aug 18. 2020

My usual order is mango oolong with grass jelly, which is still sweet enough for me at 0% sweetness. They take the tea seriously here - each cup is brewed upon ordering so it's not fast. They also have some cute twine to go around the top of the cup. The sizes are on the smaller side. They open at noon, so I've been too early to get something a few times. Heading back to LA again this week, I will probably end up here again at some point!

An Honest Review of "Chicha San Chen" in Los Angeles As…read moresomeone who values culinary quality and the finer details of life, I always enjoy exploring diverse food and beverage establishments. However, my visit today to "Chicha San Chen" in Alhambra, Los Angeles, resulted in an incredibly disappointing--and frankly, failing--customer experience. Beneath its over-packaging and fame from Taiwan, this establishment fails severely in fundamental customer service and care. Company Policy Over Customer Health The most baffling aspect is their insistence on prioritizing "company policy" over customer health! What I found most unacceptable during this experience was the store's arrogant attitude toward health and environmental requests. I prefer drinking hot tea. It is well known that commercial paper or plastic cups rely on chemical linings to prevent leaks. When exposed to high-temperature liquids, these cups can easily release microplastics and harmful chemicals, posing a potential threat to human health. Because of this, despite my fatigue, I walked all the way back to my car under the hot sun to fetch my own stainless steel thermos, fully expecting to enjoy a cup of hot tea in the safest and most environmentally friendly way. To my surprise, when I made the perfectly reasonable request to have the freshly brewed hot tea poured directly into my thermos, I was met with a cold refusal from the staff. Citing a rigid "company policy," they insisted that the scalding hot tea must first be poured into their disposable cup, handed to me, and then I would have to transfer it into my thermos myself. This absurd operational logic not only entirely defeats the purpose of bringing a reusable cup but also ensures that the high-temperature tea still comes into contact with the chemical coating, directly threatening consumer health. When I tried to reason with them from a health perspective, all I received was an uncompromising, utterly indifferent refusal. Left with no choice, I canceled my hot tea order. The business philosophy of a restaurant that refuses to respect its customers' basic health needs and lacks any flexibility is truly hard to commend. Soulless Service and Artificial Flavors Their service devoid of warmth and mediocre flavors make one realize that their reputation is merely a façade. The soul of the food and beverage industry lies in "people" and "flavor," yet this store performs poorly in both regards. First is the service attitude. The staff throughout the store acted like machines executing commands; there were absolutely no smiles on their faces, nor could I feel any warmth or hospitality. In a modern dining environment that values the art of hospitality, this icy service demeanor is highly uncomfortable. Second, not wanting to ruin the mood, I tasted the iced tea ordered by my family members. I initially thought a brand that prides itself on refinement would showcase the true depth of its tea leaves. Instead, upon tasting it, I found a distinct artificial taste in the flavoring that completely masked the natural, sweet aftertaste the tea should possess. For anyone who truly understands tea and cares about flavor, this is absolutely unacceptable. Overhyped Atmosphere Lastly, I must mention their interior design. Many Taiwanese chain tea shops of this kind advertise their spatial design as elegant, comfortable, and perfect for gatherings or romantic dates. In reality, the overall environment of this store felt incredibly ordinary and stiff. It completely lacked the premium feel they boast about, let alone any sense of romance or comfort. Conclusion A successful food and beverage brand can never be sustained solely by superficial marketing or rigid SOPs. When a store loses its respect for customer health and environmental consciousness, while simultaneously failing to provide sincere service, professional explanations, or natural and pure flavors, it has lost its core value to establish a foothold in the culinary world. This experience at "Chicha San Chen" was undoubtedly a massive letdown and deeply regrettable.

My husband makes me a coffee from a phin everyday day for work and this is exactly what it taste like except the cream which elevated the coffee even more. We came back from Vietnam and the coffee in America has been subpar. This has been the only place that I would come back to consistently. Only for their coffee. My children like the Toastes Brown Sugar Boba and finished it quicker than most other places. There is a touch screen to order. But overall I'm coming back for that coffee!!!

Came Back for Our Usual... Left With Feelings About Parking & Sugar Levels…read more Hubby and I decided to circle back to one of our top 3 favorite boba spots (not that our list is super long lol), because after a delicious hot pot dinner we were seriously craving their Coco Mango. First things first... the parking here still deserves its own Yelp review. Whoever designed that parking situation... respectfully... why Parking still sucks, but we powered through. That said, it was actually really nice seeing this place busy and packed last night -- probably around 15-20 people inside. I was weirdly happy about it because I'd be genuinely sad if this place ever closed. Always good seeing people supporting a spot you love. We ordered our usual Coco Mango, and since I was feeling adventurous, I also tried the Dragon Fruit Aiyu. And not gonna lie... the Dragon Fruit Aiyu was delicious. Super refreshing, the dragon fruit tasted fresh, and the jelly inside was such a nice touch. Definitely a solid 8.5/10 for me. My drink was $6.95 and honestly worth trying if you want something fruity and lighter. Now for the Coco Mango... This drink usually never misses. The sweet coconut with that tart mango blend is usually chef's kiss every single time. We've probably been here close to 10 times, which is why I immediately noticed it tasted a little different last night. I ordered mine with the extra lychee popping boba (+$1), so total was $7.95, and I'd rate it around a 6.8/10 this visit. My husband always tells me to stop doing 70% sugar because "either commit or don't" and honestly... he might've been right this time. But even aside from that, both the coconut topping and mango felt less sweet than usual and just didn't have that bold flavor we normally love. Maybe it was because they were extra busy and moving fast -- totally understandable -- but it was the first time it felt a little less magical than usual. Still... one off night absolutely won't stop us from coming back because when that Coco Mango hits, it hits. We'll definitely be back and hoping next time our beloved Coco Mango returns in all its usual sweet, coconutty, mango glory. Happy drinks!
