I like the crab Rangoons- very creamy inside and not too much of the crunchy corners. The Thai tea is also delicious and made very well- also very cream and sweet which I like. Ordered take out online which was easy enough. The food was rather bland, nothing unique or spectacular. We ordered the crispy pad Thai and requested it be made spicy; it was not, it tasted like they didn't use any spices. And we got the chicken in the garden - the peanut sauce was so thin it didn't coat anything or give large flavor and the chicken was way overcooked- and a Thai iced tea. I thought it was terrible with a weird aftertaste but my partner liked it and thought it was comparable to any other generic (bright orange) Thai iced tea. Top notch Thai Food in a very unassuming location. I love the little bar area where you can wind down after a day of work. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I am pretty sure it's a family business. The Penang was spot on, rich and flavorful. The fresh rolls were also excellent, wrapped tightly with care. Parking lot with plenty of spaces outside. The place was deserted on a Thursday, which is 'somewhat' normal for them as 95% takeout. But generally, our gang, which visits quarterly, sees maybe four couples plus our gang of 6 or 7. We were the only dining-in patrons for almost 2 hours. It was very clear that there is a new owner/management. And, it is failing badly. The food was 'ok' but about 1/2 previous sized portions, and overcharged by $3-4 per entree. Same for the apps. Service was abysmal, including spilling a beer on me, and not even offering a napkin to wipe off my vest!!!!! Further, the server showed no interest in even cleaning up the spill on the floor!!! Good luck with that carpet. Also, I had to remind the server that he had not served said beer and did not want it for dessert. And we only had one beer each, hardly a drunken crew. Used dishes were not cleared after appetizers, and no fresh plates were offered for the main course. Amateur hour. When I asked for added napkins during dinner- they were doled out by the server as if they were made of 'pure gold'. The server kept bowing to us, versus just basic attending to details. This was our 'go to' Thai place every 2-3 months, now off the list. I'd ignore the previous reviews as this place is a mess for dine-in. read more

I'm honestly shocked with how terrible the food we ordered was. Me and my mom were starving so we ate the food. It was edible but my goodness, the worst Thai food I've ever had. Me and my family eat a lot of Thai food.. it's our favorite. Trader Joe's frozen Thai is better. The Tom yum soup was clear with ZERO flavor, it had one carrot, one broccoli, one bean, and one onion... it also came with tofu when we asked for vegetable only. Thai Jasmine is my gang's 'go to' Thai restaurant. The food is excellent and served quickly. The servers are very attentive, we always tip 25%. It is generally quiet, which is nice for one of our gang who is hearing impaired. The one aspect that could be improved is a more extensive bottled beer menu, which is sort of a no brainer. The prices per entree are about $8 per dish below the competition. Excellent taste and value, for short $$. A 'hidden gem' in my view. read more

Stopped here for lunch on Good Friday...didn't know what to try as it was my first time so I asked the server to ask the people in the kitchen to make me their "best dish"...he returned a little while later with Kai-ka Prao (ground chicken, green beans, peppers, onion). The lunch special was not special at all. The half cup of soup was unpalatable- it tasted like chemicals. I had the basil pad Thai - which came with chicken- which I could hardly find any. IT'S ALIVE! When I come here with my friends, I always order shrimp crazy noodles. I order that in other Thai restaurants and love the dish. I also like that menu here as well. Only one problem is that shrimps are not cooked thoroughly. 7 times out of 10 times I ordered that dish, shrimps were not cooked enough. Even when I asked the wait staff to make it well done, it comes out translucent. I also got sick a couple of times after consuming that. I really want to give this place a better review but I just can't. The service is great, very attentive and wanting to address our needs, but the food is horrendous. It's masquerading as Thai but the taste is all wrong. We had Pad Prik Khing which is supposed to be majority green beans and a bit of other veggies in a sweet/spicy sauce. The dish presented had a sauce from the can (yes you can buy one labeled Prik Khing) with a few green beans bust mostly onion, broccoli, baby corn, carrot, and snow peas. Definitely a rip off of value. The Tom Yum soup is lacking all mushrooms, a staple ingredient if you get authentic Thai, and the taste is off. It should be more of a clear broth with the chili oils floating in it and a strong taste of lemongrass and galangal. This had no lemongrass or galangal taste to it, another sign of going cheap. As for chili oil taste it seems more like they are using Sambal Oelek so the consistency is off. Had chicken satay which was decent, hence more than one star for them. Honestly the best thing we had tonight was the peanut sauce for the satay. Pretty pathetic really. read more

One of the best Thai restaurants around Westford/Chelmsford/Lowell. Food is always delicious. Although it's never spicy enough, even if you ask for 'Thai spicy'. Their lunch menu is a real good bang for the buck. I go there more often than any other restaurant. Service is ok. Hit or miss. Sometimes it's good, sometimes acceptable at best. Food is delicious and if you're in a hurry for lunch, food usually gets served efficiently so you can get in and out in no time. Would definitely recommend. I ordered the Tom Kha soup and the sampler for 2. I ate the sampler for 2 by myself, but in all fairness I am pregnant so I suppose that's acceptable ;) I had never tried Tom Kha soup before- the concoction of coconut, veggies, spices, and chicken was unusual- but in a good way! Pros: 1) Food (Pad Thai, Pineapple Fried Rice, Tum Yum Soup, Prik King Stir Fry- although it is not as spicy as i would have liked it)* * They have the peanuts on the side in the spice rack- just in case you are allergic or just like extra extra peanuts!! 2) Excellent Service (They understand the simple concept of when my glass of water is empty- fill it up) 3) Full bar service and plenty of seats. Thai Jasmine locates just middle of where my wife and I work, so we decided to go there for lunch. The ambiance is little dark but very classic Thai decor. It does get little crowded at 12 noon. For lunch, it good to start with a bowl of free soup. Lunch specials looks nice and have good price. We ordered Tum Yum Soup, Beef Satay, Shrimp Pad Thai and Crazy Noddle. Tum Yum Soup is little bit too sweet and not enough sour. Beef Satay is tender and tasty with the dipping sauce. Shrimp Pad Thai can have little bit more flavor to it (may try the Basile Pad Thai next time) and for my Crazy Noddle, I guess I should ask for beef instead of chicken and kick up a notch on the spicy level. read more

Found this place while working. I don't eat meat and there were plenty of options. I got the vegetarian thai soft rolls, sticky rice, and thai iced tea. All good. Rolls were very fresh with crispy veggies. Dipping sauces were delicious- $5.95 Sticky rice was nice and hot. Very good- $2 Thai iced tea was good too but i thought it should have had a few more ounces- $3 My order was taken as soon as i was ready, and the order came out within 5-10 minutes. We have gone here probably the past 4 times this year. Honestly the food is really good and their appetizers are also good. They do have a full bar also. Happy hour isn't advertised on their website but here is the deal: you get 2 appetizers half price if you buy an alcoholic beverage only if you sit in the bar area. It is M-F from 3-6. I took two stars away because we went yesterday and the bathroom had watered down soap, so bad that I pumped a lot out and hardly got any bubbles. If you are asian, you know what authentic tastes like and what isn't. They may be able to fool white people but they cant fool us. It tastes like its missing something. You ever been to a chinese buffet or a chinese restaurant expecting real chinese food but when you go look at the lo mein it looks like it was made using spagetti noodles? This place is a joke. Everything was amazing!! While visiting some relatives in the area they recommended this small local place as it is a few minutes away from their home and it did not disappoint. The staff was attentive and great. The food was tasty and so much flavor. We are from Los Angles and although there are many Thai restaurants only a couple I can name that are filled with flavor. Hmmm...frankly this is a mixed bag of emotions reviewing this one for sure from me. Pros: Food was excellent. Thai tea was amazing, Kiddos pad thai, wifey's massaman curry and my order of Seafood Prik Pao arrived at the table within a few minutes of us ordering it. The portions were adequate. Cons: The Service is very very bad and I am no way exaggerating it. We were welcomed by our server who had absolutely no emotions on her face, no pleasantries exchanged nor any recommendations made (for food) even when asked. Once the food arrived she went into hiding sort of........She did not come in to check if we needed anything nor to ask how the food was. She was busy tending to other tables. We waited for 20 minutes to get her attention and to get our check. We intended on getting some dessert but no, she just came in and pushed the check on us. We are still debating on whether to visit them again and give them a second chance but it is still up in the air. Thainese? I tried a lunch special here on a weekday afternoon. Though the pricing was impressive, the offering left much to be desired. I typically lean toward Thai food for it's freshness, thinner, more light bean sauces, and simple stir-fry vegetables. What I received here was a dish more reminiscent of a Chinese dish-- thicker sauces, soups and rolls with egg, and baby corn in my stir fry. While it tasted fine, it just wasn't the variety of Thai you would find at better Thai restaurants. Conclusion : I'd like to give this place another shot for dinner, when I have a more sovereign choice over what I can order and aren't limited by the specials (no substitutes!) read more

I have Restaurant.com certificate that I haven't used for awhile and finally decided to use it. This restaurant is located in a location that seems to not be very populated so you won't have to worry about the parking space. Initially entering the restaurant, there was only a man who was wearing shorts and a T-shirt. I went up to him and said I wanted to dine-in. He just kept pointing at another worker who is behind the kitchen. The worker behind the kitchen finally came out and led me to a table. There wasn't very much people in the restaurant at this hour. My minimum purchase to use the $10 certificate was at least $20. I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai ($10), Chicken Massaman Curry ($11), Thai Ice Tea ($2.50), and white rice ($1.85). When I saw the Pad Thai came out, I was like, "oh no!" The color of the Pad Thai doesn't have that orangish color to it and I knew that it probably won't taste all that great. I was right.. The Pad Thai had a fishy taste to it, which is a bit weird because I never had any fishy tasting Pad Thai before. The Massaman Curry wasn't all that great either. It was served in a big square shaped bowl and it is VERY oily. I'm not trying to get my arteries clogged any time soon. The Thai Tea was pretty good, but they put too much ice in it. I removed the ice to keep it from watering down the tea. The Pad Thai didn't have any heat spices to it so I had to ask for the rack of pepper/hot sauce as it wasn't offered or brought to me. I also had to ask for a to-go box as the only waiter went to the restroom or something and not seen in sight in awhile. The waitress who I asked for the to-go box came and took my food in the back to pack it. I thought that was awesome as there are some places who just throw the box and let you do all the work. Overall, the people here was nice, but the food isn't all that great and I honestly don't know if I want to return here again. I feel bad for giving a 2 star, but I'm not really impressed with the food and until that's changed, this is the highest rating that I can give. The guy in the shirt and shorts (whatever his function at the restaurant is) talked loudly in the restaurant in Thai about God knows what. After experiencing Thai for the first time almost 3 years ago, I was extremely hesitant to try a new place. Unfortunately, our go-to place has gone down hill, and we needed to find somewhere fast! Many of my co-workers have recommended Thai Jasmine, as it is right down the street. Luckily, many of them are snobby foodies like me! Interior: Super clean, with that "upscale" feel. Service: Amazing! We have had one waitress almost every time we've been, named Tar. She is adorable, insanely nice, and does a great job! On our third time here, she remembered us, and got our two Thai Iced Teas ready as we sat down. Food: The Pad Thai has amazing flavor. I use this as my judgement on whether or not I will bother trying everything else, and I almost don't want to order anything else here because its sooooo good! The curry puffs are delicious, and the beef satay appetizer almost tastes like it was coated in butter, IN A GOOD WAY! All of the curries have an excellent flavor, and we have never gotten any food that was not of the highest quality. Unfortunately, there is actually a limit to how spicy they can make it, because they won't sacrifice flavor for heat (WHICH IS A GOOD THING!). They can still make me sweat, and that's all that matters! Also, the Thai Iced Tea is absolutely amazing.
