Tl;dr: Great food, friendly staff, fair price and wait I was looking for something new to try in the area, and me and my partner had been in the mood for Pad Thai and Yellow Curry. Naturally, rather than go to a couple places we agreed to try a newer spot that had both. This location has, to my knowledge, been a few different restaurants over the years and so I was a bit worried that this revolving door of businesses may have been a bad sign for this restaurant. When we got in, the place seemed quaint enough, the kind of ambience you expect when people make a joke about how you can tell how good the food is by what the inside of the restaurant is like. We were greeted by a nice guy in a jacket, maybe a delivery driver, but he was very welcoming and kind. He took our order and said it would be ready in about 20 minutes. He then asked if we would rather wait inside in the waiting area or out in the car. We said we would wait in the car and he offered to bring out our food when it was ready. We waited just about 20 minutes, which felt like a good sign that all the food would be fresh. One other customer came and went in that time, which made me a little sad since it was about 730 on a Friday night and I figure this place deserved a bit more business. Our order was: Pad Thai (Chicken): the Pad Thai was pretty standard fare, which is by no means an insult! The noodles were perfect, the peanut came through exactly how you'd like, and the bean sprouts were plentiful. The chicken was the kind you'd expect in Pad Thai, just some juicy breast meat, perfectly cooked. Yellow Curry with Coconut Rice (Chicken): The yellow curry was excellent, according to my partner, who exclaimed that it was a huge portion for the price. They said the smell was to die for and she was pleasantly surprised by the inclusion of baby corn. She was very happy with how delicious the coconut rice was. Crab Rangoon: The Crab Rangoon were potentially different than how most people in the area would have theirs, with celery and carrot inside along with the usual cream cheese, chive, and imitation crab. These were smaller than expected, but the flavor was very balanced and rich. There was an umami flavor which stuck out to me, but in a good way! The paired sweet sauce that came with it was light and delicious. Altogether the meal came out to $40 roughly, which I think is fair for a couple of entrees and an appetizer. Frankly, I think the only issue I have with this place is that I hadn't heard any good things about it sooner. This spot deserves more attention and people should really give it a try! I have been on a phở journey through Fitchburg, Leominster, and Worcester and somehow it's brought me to this Thai / Lao restaurant. Guys this is crazy. Of the nine places I have tried, this place might have my favorite beef phở. This place is right off the four-way intersection on John Fitch Hwy, just past the Dippin Donuts right across from All Town Collision & Repair. I think this place could literally be considered a hidden gem since it's kind of tucked away and not very noticeable. The parking is very limited with only about 6 spots directly in front of the building. The decoration inside is nothing to write about. It's quite large and spacious inside. The staff (1 guy) was very friendly and welcoming. Summer Roll (Shrimp) ; I will ALWAYS order this if I see it on the menu. And as always, it tasted great thanks to delicious peanut sauce. This one was actually unusual as the sauce had heat to it. I really liked this. I think the carrots in the roll could've been more cold and crispy, but it didn't bother me. Phở (Beef and Meatball) ; it only took me 1 spoonful to declare "no way... this can't be the best so far". But I ate my whole bowl at record speed. The broth was perfectly rich and beefy and the noodles were perfect as well. Most places I've tried, the noodles are too damn narrow (and too much of it!) and sometimes too soft. Pad Thai (Beef) ; unfortunately my wife and I weren't a fan of this. To me, it tastes so bizarre. Sweet and peanutty, kind of shrimpy?? We definitely could not taste any tamarind. It didn't taste bad, but it just confuses me when in my mind I ordered Pad Thai. Wife says it's fine and not literally the worst she's had. Overall the experience here was totally unexpected to say the least. We will definitely be back to try more since we love Thai food. read more

We were excited to find a place that serves Lao food not too far from our house. But what we found was not authentic at all. Also very flavorless. The laab was just visually dressed up ground beef - no laab mix at all. The papaya salad was also flavorless. Couldn't taste the shrimp paste at all. The pad Thai was fine but very greasy and too much cabbage and broccoli - there's no broccoli in SE Asia. Also took forever and very expensive. $15 for a small thing of "laab." Super disappointed. It's like an Italian restaurant serving canned chef Boyardee. We did take out but as I waited for 30 minutes for our food the place smelled like spilled beer they didn't clean up. read more

Had the drunken noodles and the triangles appetizer. Both excellent. Triangles were fried and pretty oily, but they sure were good, filled with potatoes, peas and something else. A Thai Samosa of sorts. Also had steamed shrimp shu mai, which I will not order again. Probably processed and frozen. Service was excellent and ambiance was nice. I shall return! read more

As big (but picky) Thai Food fans, we finally got to try this place out. As other reviewers have said, limited parking spaces, but where there is a will................. We have gone way out of town to enjoy Thai Food when out for a ride, or if we happen to be out of town for errands, etc. I am so glad we found this place. No need to go out of town now we have discovered this place! GREAT THAI in our own back yard! If you are just passing through, or staying near, or if you live around here. A new discovery awaits!! Great Service! Nice family! We got Crispy Vegetable Rolls, and 2 Chicken Curry dishes. Delish. Pad Thai is in a very small plaza with minimal parking. Ambiance is lacking. Upon entering , the floor was covered completely in plastic colored cups and so many toys , including a huge dragon, that it looked like a Day Care Center! Took awhile to be acknowledged. Ordered triangles that were so overcooked they were crisp and hard to eat. However , the filling was delicious and sweet chili sauce was excellent. Thai tea was also delicious however, no refills were offered. The steamed vegetables were almost cold , raw , two lumps of corn on cob -bite sized, lots of cabbage, peppers , broccoli , 5 pieces of chicken, two mushrooms flavorless and Al Dente . Also served with white rice. Pho is wonderful. Couldn't understand why the 5 year old boy being was allowed to just run around and play in the restaurant front entrance . I was not checked in on to see how my food was. Perhaps give it a second chance , when other people are there to help the Dad. The man seemed to be all alone and expected to do everything by himself including watching the boy, taking orders, serving, providing checks , taking money and clearing tables. read more

I would 100% recommend Pada Thai to anyone! The owner provides excellent service and is very warm and welcoming to his customers. I ordered the Chicken Pho and mango sticky rice. Pada Thai has great food and fast, courteous service. I ordered Kow Piek Sen with several types of seafood, vegetables, and rice noodles in a delicious and hearty chicken broth. One large bowl was a full meal. My wife ordered the vegetarian version of the same dish and also loved it. The custard dessert included coconut milk and was very good. We enjoyed discussing Southeast Asian culture with the owner. We plan to return soon and try the curry dishes. read more

We've been meaning to stop in and check out the new place and we weren't disappointed. It was shiny and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. We shared some crispy rolls and chicken satay for appetizers and for mains we had Massaman curry chicken and Khao piak sen with crispy pork, which is actually a very nice chicken broth that is slightly viscous because of the rice noodles simmered in it. Served with sprouts and hot pepper oil (for the heat lover). A very popular Laotian dish that translates as "wet rice threads". It was all very tasty and we're looking forward to working our way through the menu. You won't be disappointed. read more

I saw this restaurant wile driving by. I checked out the reviews and thought I'd try it. I got chicken pad Thai and crab rangoons. It came to $19 and change. The chicken pad Thai had barely any chicken and the only flavor was salt. Way to much salt and nothing else. The crab Rangoon are shaped differently and the tops were so overcooked (extremely crisp) they were hard to eat. The only thing I liked was the sauce for the crab Rangoon which I put on the pad Thai to give it some flavor. I think the other reviews are friends or they had an extremely bad night. That still doesn't account for the fact that CHICKEN pad thai should have way more chicken in the dish. I will not be going back. read more
