Christmas eve and we didn't feel like cooking... Been in Westford for over three years and eaten at India Palace next door a few times but never tried Thai Jasmine before. So glad we did! Thai Jasmine will definitely be my new go to spot for Thai. Got Crazy Noodles and wife got beef basil - we tasted each others and both loved each dish. I can't wait to go back and try something new (although I'd be tempted to get crazy noodles again). With it's dark interior, low lighting, deep stained wood paneling and fixtures, Thai Jasmine sets a classy mood. You may forget that you are in a commercial plaza on Rt. 110 near the Chelmsford/Westford border. Even at lunch, Thai Jasmine has cloth napkins, heavy silverware, and a uniformed staff. At lunchtime, I like that my server brings me a bowl of hot and sour soup even if my lunch selection doesn't explicitly include one. I like the flavors in their Pad Thai and Pad See Eaw even though I wouldn't mind more vegetables in the dishes. I like the Crispy Chicken Pad Thai even though the first time I ordered it I thought that the chicken would be crispy, not the Pad Thai noodles themselves. I like that they have a full bar, even though I haven't partaken in any alcoholic beverages there, yet. I like the large size of their Thai Iced Tea. There's lots to like at Thai Jasmine. read more

I've only recently started coming here this past year. My cousin could not stop raving about it so I said what the heck, I'll give it a shot. Wow. I regret driving past this place on RTE 110 so many times. The food there is AMAZING. Everything I've ordered so far has been fresh, tasty, and VIBRANT. The food pops out at you when you order it (and this is a dimly lit restaurant!). Suggestions --- yellow curry, pad thai, pad see ew, and the spicy CHICKEN WINGS. The spicy glaze they use on those wings is amazing. Great combo of sweet and spicy, and the sauce just lingers in your mouth, its so good. The service is pretty good there, but whatever, I don't care much for service. As long as they refill my waters, I'm cool with it. Thankfully, they refilled my waters. I wasn't expecting to find an authentic thai place all the way out here 40 miles from Boston. But to my surprise this place is really good. They separate out the bar and dining areas. The bar area looks like any other typical american bars, its clean and modern and plenty of space. The seating area are quieter and have very comfortable booths. For the Massanman Curry and Basil fried rice we got, it was surprisingly really good in my opinion. And reading the other reviews on this business I have to agree that its definitely worth a recommendation for anyone who likes to try something different in the area. read more

I didn't know what to do for lunch one day so I decided to check out Thai Jasmine in Chelmsford. To start off, the parking lot is usually filled with cars due to a dance studio next door, as well as other stores, it's a small plaza. But let's talk about the food. I didn't have much cash or much time so I decided to go with getting some appetizers instead of a full meal to go. I ended up getting the Golden Triangles, Fried Dumplings, and some eggrolls. Not bad of a price for all the apps, but it was delicious. I do want to try eating in sometime, but like I said, I was strapped for time. Inside seemed a little cramped, and from reading other reviews, I can't imagine how much room it is when it's very busy. The staff was very friendly, but they did take some time to notice me and finish my order due to other patrons. Overall, my first impression of Thai Jasmine was that it's an alright place. Interesting beers and very good Thai food in an oddly decorated room, with a tiny bar if you have to wait for a table. We visited for dinner in October 2011 while in town on business. This is a small restaurant with neon beer signs in the window, in a small strip mall on a road that goes thru an industrial zone. Once inside the decor is basic American country, with tall-backed wooden spindle chairs, wood and granite tables, and at least one folding screen with pictures of roses, as if this restaurant took over from some Country Cafe without redecorating. You enter into a room that is a bar-lounge with a TV, maybe half a dozen seats at a bar and quite a few high tables. But it's OK to ignore the incongruous decor and focus on the meal. We tried the large appetizer platter, and the spring rolls, crab puffs etc. were all quite good; chicken fingers and wings were bland but appropriately cooked. Ordered pad thai, chicken with lemongrass and a seafood special. All the food was carefully prepared, my scallops were not overcooked, very tasty. Their "two stars" for spicy was just pleasantly warm for me, so these are definitely New England spice levels for the locals, not Thai natives. Most expensive entree was $16, very reasonable, but I was a bit surprised that white rice was an extra $1. They had several interesting beers on tap including the mandatory Sam Adams (hey this is Boston). Service was friendly, not hovering and didn't keep us waiting long either. read more

I just recently discovered Thai Jasmine with a coworker, and we had a really nice lunch here. I just wish I had discovered it sooner, it's that good! So far I've only tried their Drunken Noodle, and to my delight it is pretty close to how my local Thai place makes it, with plenty of vegetables and the right amount of heat to it. My meal also came with a delicious cup of soup with tofu and a savory broth. The portions are generous for the price, as well - we both took home leftovers that day. Service was attentive and quick without feeling rushed. Highly recommended. I'm looking forward to my next visit! read more

A hidden little gem my friend showed me. The place has great Thai noodles and some pretty damn tasty hot wings. Nothing really stands out about this place. Seems to get filled with older white professionals after 5 on weekdays. Decor is nice, seems to be quasi-fancy, but not a fancy place at all. All in all, I'd go there again. Hell, I'm going there again tonight! This is a place with all pros and no cons. It's just that there's nothing special about it. A solid location to eat for any reason. The best Thai restaurant in the area. Lunch specials are nice since they offer free soup and a value price. I like their curries (red and green are my favorites), crazy noodle, pad see ew dish, and their duck dishes (all of them are tasty). I've tried most of their menu and have yet to be disappointed. I have been to this restaurant 2 previous times and it does not disappoint. The spiciness of the dishes on their scale of 1-5 are usually spot on with what I would expect. Last time, the 5th spice level left me needing ice cream- which I loved! Most recently, my fiancé and I visited Thai Jasmine and the service was mediocre, but the food was good. Our experience stared off poorly - we were seated for about 15 min before we were even asked about drinks. When we finally ordered, we got the Green Curry w/ chicken and a Shrimp and Chicken Pad Thai, which came in just under 10 minutes. Both dishes were great, but I craved the same "Level 5" spiciness that I got the last time I was here. I asked for some chili sauce to add to the dish, and the sauce was fantastic! Overall, we were very satisfied with the food, and I finished the entire plate of pad thai even though I was already pretty full about half way through. I would definitely recommend a visit to this place, but I definitely want better service and more consistent spice levels. Still, the flavors of the food here is great. Great little find in Chelmsford/ Westford line on Rte 110. A co-worker and I went for lunch last week. Very quick service for lunch, which is always a good thing. Soup comes . We ordered the Thai Soft rolls, they were fresh tasting and delicious. I ordered the pad Thai and it was awesome, I ended up bringing over 1/2 of it home. The portions are large and I was amazed the price was under $8. It came with a spring roll and (2) chicken wings. My co-worker had the squid salad. She said it was very good and she could not finish the portion they had given her. I will definitely be back again. LOVE Thai Jasmine! I come here weekly, sometimes twice a week, i normally get the same thing all the time, Shrimp with red or green curry! It is outstanding! I have gone in there many times in the past with my husband and gotten other things on their menu and everything i have had has been excellent! They know me by name! :) Highly recommend! Hands down the best Thai food I've ever had. My wife and I come here frequently. Outstanding food in a no frills atmosphere, with fast service and very reasonable prices. I'm consistently amazed how we never have to wait for a table (the stream of take-out pickups leads me to believe that most customers prefer that option to eating in). My wife and I have tried this place several times since we live so close, but the food quality and service is horrible. The last straw was our experience last night. We arrived around 6:30 and were seated promptly, however, that's were the decent review ends. Our waitress totally ignored us for more than 15 minutes and when she finally came to our table, she had nothing at all to say. She looked down at her notepad and waited for us to place our order. My wife and I looked at each other in dismay and debated leaving at that moment but we were hungry and decided to wait for our food. We both got Tom Kha soup which did not taste fresh at all and about half way into my bowl of soup, I found a long piece of hair. Since our waitress had no plans to check in on our table, I had to walk up to the hostess station and show another employee what was in my soup. They did not ask if I wanted anything else or offer to take off of our check. Instead, they brought over another bowl of soup which I had no desire to try after my first bowl. In between paying for our check, two other tables that sat down after us ended up leaving because no one ever came over to their tables. This is the last time we will ever step foot in this place which is disappointing because we both love Thai food. I highly recommend not eating at Thai Jasmine. read more

They must have either changed owners or changed chefs because the quality of food I got was so much worse than a few years back. The broccoli was not even cooked through - it was still hard as rock in my dish. Also, they put so much chicken curry gravy on the rice that it soaked all the way through, making the rice so soggy that it's like drinking chicken soup. What a mess! I think this is the worst Thai restaurant experience I have ever had in New England and I have eaten a lot of Thai food. They just need to fire their chef!!! read more

A coworker brought me here for dinner and what nice surprise it was! Despite driving past it many times, I never really knew it was there until she suggested we stop in. The menu offered a wide variety of Thai dishes, some that I don't often see at typical Thai restaurants. We ordered Thai iced teas, the yellow curry with chicken, pad thai with chicken and shrimp and the chili duck. I ate my meal with brown rice and my colleague ordered the sticky rice. I must say that I was suprised by the portion sizes Whoa! Pretty generous! The curry and was well prepared with plenty of chicken and fresh vegetables. The pad thai was fine with the noodles just slightly chewy and not greasy at all. The chili duck was my favorite of the three. The dish had a slight kick from the spice, but it was not overwhelming in the least. The portion of duck was generous and it was very well cooked. The sauce that came with it went well with rice. If they cooked this dish the same way every time, I'd order this dish every time. The Thai iced teas were prepared the way I like it - not too sweet and with just a hint of bitterness. At some other places this drink can be cloyingly sweet, bordering on a dessert. Half the restaurant space is taken up by the bar, which appeared to have a nice crowd mellowing out after a long day at work. The service was friendly and accommodating. Our food was prepared rather quickly and the dishes came out at the same time. The prices were very reasonable for what we ordered as the tab came to $40. There were plenty of leftovers, which means good eating for the next few days! I'd recommend this place to others and will be back to try some of their other dishes. read more

I used to love it here. Then a couple of months ago I went there for lunch and had a terrible experience. Tonight we picked up pad thai and I had 4 tiny shrimp and it was terrible. Very expensive for a dish that cost 3.00 at most. I live a mile from there and will not visit again. I spoke to a neighbor who also said she never goes there either. Bad experience with this restaurant! The quality of the food is ok, nothing special by authentic Thai food standard. The only dish, among the 6 we ordered, that deserved a high rating was the Tom Kha Soup (coconut). It was much better than the Tom Yum Soup that was way too salty. The only reason I am giving an 1-star rating was the quality of service we received. The service during our dinning time was fine. But when we paid our bill with a Restaurant.com certificate, the server face changed immediately even though we left a pretty genuine tips of 18% (before the certificate) given the quality of the food. When the bill was proceed, a lady came and threw the tray with the bill, literally, on our table and took off. Not even a Thank You. Frankly, we wouldn't consider going back even if the food were 5-star rated given the kind of treatment we received. No thanks! read more

Difficult to find and the sign from the road says Thai food bar and the place has dark coated windows with lighted beer signs. I was reluctant to say the least. I was looking forward to some som Tum but it wasn't on the menu. Had the spicy jumbo shrimp pad Thai (also not on the online menu). I was a little taken back. The shrimp were actually fried with a coating, which I've never experienced with pad Thai. A coworker had the regular pad Thai with shrimp and chicken and it looked more like what I expected. This is our go to take out place for Thai in the Chelmsford/Westford area. While I am not adventurous, everything I've tried has been extremely tasty. The Pad Thai is excellent & we get it every time along with the Crispy Thai Rolls, which are still perfectly crisp when you get them home. The Panang Curry was tasty, but it was a bit spicy for me.
