I had the red curry with shrimp which was good. On a scale from 1-10 for spiciness I chose a 2, and this was pretty spicy, so beware...my lips burned a bit. Recently stopped for the first time at Thai Kitchen. Place is very clean, very friendly staff! Great service, waitress named Jan was very attentive!! Excellent food and presentation. Hidden behind Lakeside Hospital is a little (really little) Thai gem. Thai Kitchen is simply wonderful. The food is well prepared with some excellent curry variations along with the expected Thai choices. so good!!!!!!!! came here to try it out and was happily surprised by how amazing everything tasted. i wasn't sure what i expected when i ordered their vegetable balls but they were so delicious, they were like a vegetable donut crossover. i had their pad thai and my bf has their fried rice and we loved our dishes. i had tofu in my dish and it was very very good. we will definitely be coming again!! Very good food. I like that they have a 1-10 scale for spiciness. The drunk noodles were the best I've had, and the beef was very tender. The Thai iced tea was not too watery, which is often a problem elsewhere. Great tasty food! We had takeout from them the other night and it was worth it. The food was tasty and rich. We thoroughly enjoyed the Tom kah gai soup, and Red curry entree. Also, the mango with sticky rice is always a wonderful end to the meal. I don't live remotely close to this place, but have already gone back since I last tried it a week ago! They have a 1-10 spicy scale and I get beef pad thai at a level of 6. It is perfect. I've tried almost all of the thai restaurants in Omaha and find this to be in the top 3 for me. Very tasty but they also give you the most food out of all the other restaurants. On top of that, it's $17 for two pad thai's where as everywhere else it is about $24. GREAT DEAL, GREAT PLACE! Nice quaint atmosphere. read more

I'm lucky enough to have a Thai restaurant near just about every hospital I work at so i make it my own personal mission to try them all. Although it's not my #1 it's definitely a close second. The staff is so friendly and nice and the prices are surprisingly reasonable for the area. The restaurant is narrow so it's great for parties of 2 or maybe even 4 but not large groups. I only had the Pad Thai this visit, I like to see how every place does a basic dish, but it was delicious. I recommend getting a higher spice level then you normally would though because their level 7 is more like a 5. read more

Came in for lunch and service was outstanding! No loud tv and food was delicious. I'm not a Thai expert but I would definitely come back. My husband had the Drunken Noodle at an 8 on the spicy scale and he ended up adding more spice. I had the Baby Corn Chicken at level 2 and it was wonderful. Giving 4 stars because the menu could be a little more aggressive, but place is small, so the menu is kind compatible. The Thai tea was a surprise, tasty and went well with all the spice. They actually ask the client which level of "spiceness" they want, so, if you do not love "hot", ask bellow 4. My husband and I found Thai Kitchen on a whim. This place is amazing and super clean. We both had the Pad Thai chicken & shrimp it was delicious and had great flavor and just the right amount of spice ( heat) for us. To start, my wife had many people rave about how great this place was so we had to try it, real disappointment. The owner (I assumed she was the owner) seemed friendly and welcoming which is the one good thing I will say for this. The food on the other hand was disappointing. Had ordered egg rolls for an appetizer, thin, slightly greasy and not sure what meat (if any) was in, seemed to be just the bean sprout, clear noodle and perhaps a hint of carrot inside. Not bad really, but not what other restaurants serve as egg rolls. I had ordered the pepper chicken. Came out not really hot, the various peppers did not seem done and it was described as covered in special sauce. Appeared only to have had soy sauce poured over the top as the bottom of the serving dish has what appeared to be a great amount of soy sauce filling the dish. The chicken itself was bland and really dry. My wife had the beef salad. Again with the preparation, the lettuce was too wet and slightly soggy as well as the beef too was dry. Others point this out too, the dining area is very small and confining. For all the good we heard about the place, it was nothing like we expected. Could be we were there on a bad night however we do not plan on going again to find out. read more

Take out was delicious and reasonably priced. Portion sizes were adequate, small by excesses of western standards and that is a good thing. Flavoring and spice intensity are well controlled. We had spring rolls, appetizer "meat" balls (the sauce was the best thing ever), something like fried rice with Shrimp and Pad Thai something with chicken. Best place ever! I'm not a huge fan of Asian foods but this place is just BOMB. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the THAI COFFEE! It's a cold drink, very sweet, and so so so so so delicious. My favorite dish is the Beef salad level 3 spicy. Along with my Thai Coffee. The owner is very sweet and very quick. I went there with my mom and my boyfriend and the place was swamped, we grabbed the last available table, and the owner maintained a genuine smile and got all of us our food in a timely manner, fresh and everything. this place was a little hard to find since there is only one road that leads into the dang place. its in this shopping plaza in the corner and it faced away from the street hidden by an obnoxiously large ruby tuesdays.... luckily i found it and the searchw as worth it. i tried their rad nah and it was phenomenal. the noodles had a rich smokey taste to them while the sauce was like a homemade gravy with vegtables and a fried egg. the servers were very nice and the seating area is literally separated by just a wall form the kitchen so you can smell all the aromas that come from the kitchen. its a little cramped for seating but they had wide windows for natural sunlight and a great view. 5/5 for great food, fast service, and friendly workers! read more
