Very sweet couple running this restaurant. Hubby is Thai and wife is Lao. It is well kept, clean, and renovated. They were accommodating and even offered to run to the store to pick up some Thai basil for the pho since they had just ran out. I wasn't too hungry so I just ordered egg rolls and shrimp spring rolls for the table. My brother ordered chicken pho. Also tried the Thai tea. Tea was creamy and not overly sweet- I enjoyed it. Egg rolls were average - a bit bland and lacked protein but they were fresh and the dipping sauce was tasty! Spring rolls were extremely fresh with dark leafy greens,sliced carrots, cilantro and big shrimps. I loved the dipping sauce for the spring rolls, it was not a thick peanut sauce but rather a much thinner sauce and topped with chopped peanuts. My brother enjoyed the chicken pho and it was a big portion. They do have a hot case for grab n go plates but it was empty as they sold out for the day. read more

Service was good, they were super nice and helpful. Place was nice and clean as well. Ordered a Beef Laab with sticky rice and also got their chicken and sticky rice. The laab was on the sweet side which was very different. I prefer mine on the sour side and requested it to be extra sour but wasn't. I think because it was so sweet, it didn't taste like laab to me. It looked good but just didn't work for me. Sticky rice portion was a bit small than expected. The chicken and sticky rice was ok, the price was really good. I believe it was under $6 for the chicken and sticky rice. I didnt really like anything but then it's my preference in the taste of the food. Hidden gem. Here's a place you should do all you can to support. As they were friendly and so willing to accommodate even with dishes that were not on the menu. The chef came out even to greet us. I came with colleagues and got to taste a bite of what they all ordered. I was able to try the Pad Thai which was very tasty, seasoned right, and noodles cooked right. I tried the chicken fried rice, so good, I'd definitely come back for that. I got to try the egg roll and spring rolls. Both were done well and comparatively to everyone one else. I ordered the Pad Kee Mow it is a spicy noodle that was done so well. I was in the mood for spicy today and it curbed that craving. The portions were big people had leftovers. The price point was a great value for the rations. On the way out I grabbed some ready made fried chicken with sticky rice. This was a great value and it tasted great. I was lookin to get some intestine soup and found they had innards soup. About the same except it wasn't just all intestines. It had other innards just as the soup name suggests. Service was great. They were informative and also gave me a couple of other dish suggestions to try next time that compliments the soup. They told me the beef larb either cooked or raw. So I might just try that next time. I ended up getting the innards soup and saw they also had kow mun gai.. I haven't had that since my friend made a dish for me and hers was bomb af. As a semi- regular there i love this place, a really nice tiny relaxing spot to enjoy, great service and has many southeast asian favorites to choose from. In my opinion the best chicken and dice and sausage and rice plates. Ready to go very generous portions Extremely flavorful. The sauce is one of one so savory and sweet with a slight kick. Going based off what I ordered. I would need to try other things here before I can get a final thought if I like it or not. Okay so I ordered on the phone their intestine soup, which in lao is GANG KUNG NAI OR THOM KUNG NAI. I ordered it that way and I don't think she understood what I said so I just said it in the English "intestine soup", which is deceiving because there's barely any intestines. Anyway, the color of the soup and the chopped chilis made it look promising but I was wrong. It literally tasted like boiled fatty cuts of meat and some innards, cooked in pho broth. I didn't see any aromatics like galangal or kaffir lime leaves. This isn't your traditional "intestine" soup aka innard soup. I didn't get to take a picture of it because I was hungry and I just rushed to have a little bowl. For $17 too! It was pretty disappointing, I've had it better elsewhere and usually they'll ask if you want it kind of bitter that's how you know it's traditional. I will be coming back to give them another try with their other dishes since the pictures do look good and see if it makes up for the soup lol. The place is pretty small, cute and cozy . Just don't try to dine in with like a 10 plus people. It's right on the Main Street but have plenty of parking. They also have hot food to go. read more

I love this restaurant! I was wanting to do something to celebrate the TLC New Year and was able to reserve a time/table with the owner for a small group dinner. The restaurant is very clean and the decor is very Thai/Lao. The owner was very nice and let me set a reservation close to closing and they let us stay past closing. Definitely ask about reserving time and tables for events! The food was delicious. We had Lao style papaya salad, pad Thai, Lao sausage, red curry, and Thai tea. 8/10/24 Called and ordered shrimp spring rolls with an extra peanut sauce. The worker was kind and said it would be ready in 15 minutes. Go in to pick up. Greeted by kind worker and he said it was almost ready. Very nice restaurant. Small, but still plenty of seating. It was ready shortly later. I usually never go far from my comfort food which is Sticky rice with meat and a Papaya salad. Every now and then I will get other items. I am very picky about my food. I got their hot to go Sticky rice and sausage (I like the sausage better than Sweet Mango). The sticky rice was a good portion. Sausage was minced and stuffed well. Not as herby as I like, but that might work for others. Their chili sauce in it is good to. I got their papaya lao style. It was fresh and crunchy. The flavor was a good salty flavor. Spice was medium and was pretty spicy, but the kick was good. Thai tea is literally the best I've had in Fresno. The owners were so sweet, friendly and talkative. It is a small hole in the wall and sometimes those are the best places for ethnic food! BUT Not sure if I came on a bad day because I ordered Pad Kee Mao ( drunken noodles) and sinlot (beef jerky) it was terrible. The noodles were plain and had no spice. The beef jerky was the worst and the sauce was all fish sauce. It was super dry, no flavor and greasy. Almost like it was recooked or microwaved. I didn't dine in otherwise I would've returned it. I got home and opened it with a huge disappointment. It's difficult to start a new restaurant but you have to stay consistent with the quality of the food. read more

Two of us came into this restaurant very neat tidy home spun restaurant . I ordered the pad Thai my guest order the pad kee mow and we ordered an order Sticky rice and the eggrolls. The eggrolls are over the top 9 1/2 out of 10 the pad Thai l have given an 8 1/2 out of 10 the kee mow I would give a nine lots of meat. The pork was tender. The vegetables were fresh crispy not overcooked. The rice was hot. The dipping sauce was excellent quite spicy but delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant for people who want Thai food in the style of Bangkok will come back again. Excellent restaurant, Restaurant, small quaint and worth the trip.
