Pandan & Thai Tea Milk bread
Ethan Z.

Great Vendors with Amazing bites! The market is on the side of a big parking area shared with other businesses but finding a spot was pretty easy. We got here around 6:30 and there was already about a dozen vendors set up with a ton of options. My friends and I came here and had a blast trying everyone's fresh and unique street food! Some of our options included pandang & thai tea flavored milk steam buns, Grilled Seasoned Squid body, iced Longan juice with the fresh fruit sitting inside, fresh chicken and pork skewers, and made to order spicy nam khao tod. I think everything was very reasonably priced given the fact that the food is being prepared in front of you, on the spot, their packaging is great, the vendors' good vibes and... oh yeah BECAUSE IT ALL TASTES AMAZING. I think everything we got was very tasty, had strong flavors, and satisfying for every craving we each had. Sadly we were unable to try all the vendors' options this time but look forward to returning for more Thai street food. They were all very friendly and very good at what they're doing.

This is such a cute little pop up on the weekends. It's not as big as the OC or 626 night market so don't expect that but they have about 10 booths to select from which all had really good food! They primarily take Zelle or Venmo as payment options. People there are fairly nice and there is a lot of diversity. Would recommend and go back myself.

The night market was a little small, but it was good! I think a majority, if not all, of the cooks were actually Thai. So you know it's authentic!! You also know it's real cause they be cooking everything in the same pan over and over again. So there's naturally an extra burst of flavor. There aren't really any spots to eat so you'll probably have to eat in your car or be willing to eat on the curb or parking lot floor. I went with four people and it was nice cause we got to get a bunch of different food to taste! Hoy Tod (5/5): its mussel in an egg omelette. I pour the red sauce on it to get the full flavor. It was really good! Nam kao tod (4/5): it's crispy friend rice with pink meat (Nam). It was crispy, refreshing, sour, and good! Ruam mit (5/5): it's a bunch of different things in coconut milk. Reminds me of my childhood. Lod chong (4/5): it's Pandan rolled into a tube so it looks like worms in either Pandan water or coconut milk, I forget. It was sweet but I think after eating the ruam mit and this at the same time it tasted less sweet cause the ruam mit probably had more sugar. Tofu kra pow (4/5): it was very flavorful! Pandan roll (5/5): light green spread on dinner roll. It was sweet and absolutely delicious! Thai tea roll (4/5): orange spread in dinner roll. I thought it was okay, but my friends like it! Matcha roll (5/5): dark green spread on dinner roll. I wasn't expecting the matcha to taste so good and rich. I was pleasantly surprised! Lao sausage (4/5): you can taste all of the different herbs and spices in it. Mango sticky rice (5/5): the mangoes were perfect and sweet and soft like butter. The coconut milk really wrapped the slightly salty sticky rice and sweet mango together nicely.

I came on Tuesday at 7:30pm and the night market was still running. About 10-15 vendors as it is winter time and not as popular as it was during summer. Also means no wait, food doesn't run out, and super easy parking. Located on the 99cent store parking lot with a bunch of parking. All the foods are cooked fresh and hot in front of you. Cash dominant! (Some take zelle) 10/10 Bbq Pork Skewers $10/10pcs - my godddd these were so dam good! It's a must get! The poor was juicy, perfectly marinated (savory and slightly sweet), and cooked to tender. Great price! Wished they had more meat selection but the pork was amazing! 10/10 Pad Kee Mao Beef $10 - wide thick noodles cooked and seasoned in their Thai sauces, egg, bean sprouts, bell peppers, onions, and beef. They fry this up in front of you on a wok and there was so much flavor in this dish! Asked them to make it super spicy and most Thai places hesitate but they delivered! Spice level 8/10! Best pad kee mao I've ever had if not it is at least by far the best for taste:price ratio. Would come back and try the other dishes as well. 8/10 Nam Khao Tod $10/3pcs - I think this was a crispy rice salad. It is made from little crispy rice balls and they mash 3 of them up and add spices and seasoning. It has a savory and perfectly light sour (from lime) taste. Not sure if there is meat but I think eat this combined with the bbq skewers from above is solid!! Steam Bun $5/3pcs 8/10 Thai Tea - the tea flavor was little light. Still really great creamy texture! Not too sweet :) 9/10 Pandan - surprisingly better than Thai tea. The pandan flavor stood out way more! Same amazing texture. 9/10 Pork Floss - great savory mix to change up the taste from sweet. The pork floss was little crispy which made it really good! Buns overall were just like the Hawaiian sweet rolls. They are soft, light, and airy pillows but not much else to them. The stuffings of cream or pork sung could be a hit or miss (some were packed and some were lightly filled). Other things I saw but didn't try: Mango sticky rice $10 Sticky rice $2 Sausages $3 Tacos $2 Fettucine/rice with minced pork $8 Green curry $10

I really like the Thai Night Market in Thai Town on Sunset Boulevard. It brings me back to when I was in Asia--it feels just like the street foods in Thailand. There are many different vendors with menu items like bbq satay, desserts, boba, tacos, drinks, and the list goes on and on. It's not always the same vendors, so each day has different vendors, but it's usually the same core group. Do note that this happens only on Monday and Tuesday nights from about 6:30 p..m. - 10:00 p.m. PST. Another important note is that it is cash only. The parking is also insane because there are so many people. Overall, I highly recommend it. I ordered various things like a Thai crepe, bbq skewers, and Thai desserts. I even got pupusas, so it's not just Thai food! The prices are also very reasonable and the food is good. There's a reason why there's a huge crowd. Also, there's no fee to enter like other night markets! It's definitely a secret gem of the city!

I have never been to Thailand but it looks exactly like the pictures and videos I've seen! This is a small mini outdoor night market with vendors lined up on the block selling all kinds of goods from meat sticks, e-sarn sausages, crepes, papaya salad, fish maw soup, chicken noodle soup, boat noodles, frozen pork balls, frozen hot dogs, popsicles, pad Thai, just about anything. Last Monday was my 1st time visiting and I'm glad I got to experience it before the city shut it down. I saw they got shut down on Tuesday which sucks because I would love to go back and try more foods. Hopefully they bring this back soon or find a place where they are able to sell. If they do come back, they are only operating Monday-Tuesday from 6:30-10pm in the 99¢ Store parking lot.

Tasty food. Loved the skewers and papaya salad. Very authentic tasting items. The noodle lady had a lot of orders and i was worried that she would mess it up. Thai ice tea was delicious! Great little spot for yummy fast Thai. Cash only! We are from the trunk of my Prius.

This was a GREAT date night or friends GO TO hangout spot for sure & I sharable food so BIG WIN (I can't believe I didn't know about this place sooner!!!). ALL the food tasted was delectable and fresh: Khao Soi beef noodle curry, Bao pork bun, Drunken noodles, Crispy Spicy pork belly bowl, & Taro smoothie were just some the food I tried (Numerous options - need to go back to get more ASAP) - ALL highly recommended . The vendors were friendly and everything is made FRESH to order. EVERY WEEKEND, Parking at event $5/hr., & free to get in. (There's an offer to get a $50 package of tickets but you can just pay each vendor also so it comes out exactly the same lol).

These were one of the best skewers I've had in a while! Well marinated and no more than $3.50 each!
Cherie W.

So many options, def worth a visit: - Bring cash, most if not all vendors are cash only - The skewers were pretty popular, and so good for the price too. The line for this can get long. - The man that makes ice pop is so friendly and fun! - There isn't really a place to sit and eat - My friend and I got here at around 6/7 and it was pretty crowded, we parked across the street.

I found the food to be very good and at good prices! Rare things you can buy in small quantities without going to a restaurant! It's very convenient if you like variety in your food and exotic flavors ! -if you park in parking near by be wary of the parking enforcement they will come out even in two separate tow trucks to catch people slipping.. so have a look out or run in quick but don't park at Walgreens or what ever it was because I saw people getting towed!

Chicken skewer

An amazing market to satisfy your Thai cravings! We came on Memorial Day, but we heard there were less vendors than usual, so we'll definitely be back to try more. We got there around 7:30, and we saw vendors already packing up by 9 so get there early to try everything! Some highlights were the $1 chicken skewers, pandan jelly drink, and the khao soi soup noodles! Everything was really reasonably priced and came in pretty large portions. Service was amazing as well. The vendors were all super nice, and cooked all of the food fresh. It was so fun to walk around and try all of the different stands!

Great prices, fresh food and good people! Perfect weeknight dinner with friends can't wait to come back

Thai Monday-Tuesday night "market"
Selma K.

Was very surprised to see how little options there are. I would not really consider this a night market as there are not many options compared to other places. This place is open from Monday-Tuesday 7-10pm.

*** Cash or Zelle only ***…read more Alejandra's Quesadilla is a food cart located in Echo Park (more specifically right next to LADOT Lot 643 - 1147 Echo Park Ave). The food cart specializes in blue corn quesadillas. The food cart has been around for 20 years and is now run by Alejandra's daughter. [Parking]: Metered street parking is available or just park at LADOT Lot 643. [Atmosphere]: Takeout only and our party ended up eating the quesadilla in my car. [Ordering]: One of the ladies took my order and another lady did the grilling. Once the quesadillas are ready, customers can add various condiments like cactus, mild salsa, red salsa, and cilantro. The cart is quite popular and our party had to wait approximately 15 minutes on Sunday at 6:15 PM. All quesadillas are cooked to order and the lady manually pressed every blue corn tortilla by hand. [Menu]: The cart offers chicken, pork, chorizo, squash blossoms (flor de calabaza), chicharrón, potato, and huitlacoche (corn smut, or the "Mexican truffle"). Customers can mix and match fillings like chorizo and potato. *** Squash Blossom Quesadilla ($8): The order came with an extra piece of skirt steak. This quesadilla tasted much better than I had expected and it was actually quite delicious. I was a big fan of the mild green salsa and it definitely enhanced the overall flavor. *** It was an unexpected street food find and I can actually see myself revisiting this food cart and try different quesadilla options whenever I am in the Echo Park area.

Located at RFK High School in Koreatown LA, this location was central and provided lots of space for food stands, food trucks, games, merch stands, drink stands, music stage, you name it. They even had a (huge) sneaker expo stand! I did not see any performers on the music stage, but they posted some content online and it looks like they killed it! Minzy from 2NE1 headlined the first night. I did not have a chance to see everything as I was with a group of people (takes longer to do virtually everything), but there was so much to see! The food I did try: Xing Fu Tang strawberry boba, yakitori yado mochi chicken skewer, kimchi rice ball, pork belly rice ball, thai basil chicken. Everything was good. It was busy! Get there early as by 7:30pm or so it was wall to wall people (some wearing masks, some not as they were recommended only). Had a great time - they have rebooted this event so well!
