    Pad Woon Sen...show stopper

Food- 5 Service - 5 Best Thai food we've had in 2026! Casual comfortable interior. Very clean as they've opened only three weeks ago. Effortlessly amiable server led us through the menu and made recommendations that fit our cravings. Ribeye jerky- tender and well seasoned, not dry as you would expect when you think of jerky. Papaya salad- bit on the thicker side, but delicious nonetheless. Pork jowl and rice, great choice, would order again. Pad Woon Sen...nice touch when the blue noodles turned purple. Good dish, but a bit on the sour side. Pad Thai ToGo for the hubby....a perfect, not too sweet Pad Thai with tender beef. Plate sizes were adequate, not generous but enough for two to share. Good quality ingredients. Definitely coming back for a casual night out.

New Thai restaurant in the area with A Mom & Pop restaurant's vibe makes me feel like I am having lunch in Thailand. I have tried 2 dishes today. 1) "Thai Grilled Pork Jowl Spicy Salad" ( Moo Nam Tok) One thing Chef Sarah has done to maintain the quality of all her dishes is the quality of the ingredients she used. That's why the portion of the food here runs pretty small but packed with flavor. Like this plate, she grilled a tender Pork jowl to perfection creating a Melt-in-my mouth texture with a well-balanced of the dressings. 2) " BKK Noodle": a mixture between Pad See Ew Noodle and Kua Kai Noodle, creates a great combination plus the aromatic smell of the Wok. Making this plate so unique and a must-try one. For Thai Iced Tea : an intense flavor of Authentic Thai tea, love it! Servers are friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back to try more of their dishes.

Enjoyed a delicious and easy afternoon lunch! The space was recent renovated and refreshed giving a clean, fun, and colorful vibe with photos of Thailand. Lots of natural light (which I love) The service was attentive and very friendly - we each got a lunch special which came with an egg roll, salad, and choice of entree - perfectly proportioned and very flavorful. Thai iced teas as well - so happy they are in the neighborhood. We will be back soon!

The staff is welcoming, professional, and excellent at navigating the menu to offer great recommendations, ensuring your dining experience feels seamless from start to finish.

I ordered the Fried Chicken, BKK Noodle with Pork Jowl, and the Grilled Pork Jowl Salad, and every dish was outstanding. The fried chicken was perfectly crispy and juicy. The BKK Noodle with Pork Jowl had incredible flavor--the grilled pork was smoky and tender, and the noodles were delicious. My favorite was the Grilled Pork Jowl Salad. It tasted exactly like the one I grew up eating in Thailand. I've tried this dish at so many Thai restaurants in Los Angeles, and this is by far the best one. If you're looking for authentic Thai food, this place is a must-visit!

We are very picky Thai food eaters, and this really impressed us. It's been a long time that we thoroughly enjoyed a time meal in LA this much! Highly recommend!!

I walked up to the bar to talk to an employee and said we had a reservation at 8 and they said okay but then didn't seat us. It was about 8:30pm when I took it upon myself to seat us at the bar ourselves. We ordered. The food was pretty good. The veggie lasagna was just cheese and tomato sauce I was hoping for zucchini or some form of veggies in it but there weren't any. It was fun coz you could watch the chef prepare the food however he was picking it all up with his bare hands and we are pretty sure he was getting burnt a lot haha he seemed very sweet and friendly. I'm not sure if I would return to the restaurant. The impact wasn't really incredible. The rest of my party was not into it at all. We did have fun tho.

We ordered a bunch of cocktails along with a few glasses of red wine and champagne. The cocktails were definitely the highlight. We tried the Blackberry, Cucumber, Snow Pea, Tomato, and Daikon. The Tomato cocktail was my favorite by far -- savory, balanced, and not overly sweet. Blackberry was a close second, really refreshing and easy to drink. My first glass of champagne was unfortunately flat and pretty gross but to their credit they replaced it immediately once I mentioned it. Still, for an upscale restaurant, that was a little annoying to begin with. For food, we got the asparagus, burger, fries, abalone, and the bluefin tuna belly deviled eggs. The abalone was easily the standout dish of the night. Everything else ranged from just okay to forgettable. The burger sucked. Overall, I'd come back for drinks and would give the food another shot since the menu changes pretty frequently but this particular meal didn't totally hit for me.

I even called about an hour after I got home because I started getting a scratchy throat and realized I didn't specifically ask if there were strawberries in the raspberry sorbet (I'm allergic and that was completely my mistake for not double checking before I chowed down) but the host that answered was super nice, I could hear in the background her double checking with a server, who then even double checked with the kitchen to make sure they were giving me the correct answer which I really really appreciate. Side note, no strawberries in the sorbet I'll most definitely be returning here in the future.

The kalguksu was incredible comforting, with chewy, long, freshly made noodles in a rich, savory broth that was packed with clams. The beef bulgogi was also delicious. It came with a side of salad and rice. The bulgogi was tender, well-merinated, and paired well together with the sides. The bossam was amazing! The best we've tasted. We all loved the perilla seed kalguksu due to its taste and also bc it's so healthy for you. The owner came by to check how we liked the galbi kalguksu since it was a newly created dish and we told her that it was delicious, seasoned just right. Before the meal, as they brought out the side dishes, they brought out barley rice with denjang on top to mix with yeol-moo kimchi. That was a special touch. We absolutely loved the food there. I saved the info so that we can return when we visit Koreatown again in the near future. Highly recommend this place to anyone who craves exceptional Korean food.

The restaurant is located at the Beverly Center and does not validate parking. The good news is that parking is relatively affordable at $1 per hour. Since I don't eat meat or chicken, I checked the menu online beforehand and found several options that looked appealing. Unfortunately, once we were seated, we were given a completely different menu. When I asked about it, our server, Lindsey, explained that the menu I had seen online isn't available until after 3 p.m. That was disappointing since I had already planned my meal. We started with the biscuits. They had a strong smoky flavor that honestly made me think they were baked with pork fat or in an oven used for barbecue. Lindsey assured me they weren't made with any meat fats, but the smoky flavor was definitely noticeable. I ordered the salmon with microgreens and a side of mac and cheese. My partner ordered the steak and eggs with hash browns, and we both enjoyed the mint mocktails--they were refreshing and one of the highlights of the meal. The salmon was cooked well and I enjoyed it. The mac and cheese, however, was a huge letdown. It arrived in a cute little cast-iron skillet on a butcher block, so the presentation was great, but the taste didn't match the appearance. It reminded me of boxed mac and cheese made with powdered cheese, topped with Parmesan just to create a crust. It was runny, lacked richness, and there wasn't even a hint of that satisfying cheese pull. Unfortunately, there were service issues as well. My partner specifically ordered his eggs over hard, but they weren't prepared that way. His hash browns never arrived at the table, and on the drive home he realized we had been charged for them. He intended to mention it before leaving but simply forgot. The biggest positive is the restaurant itself. It's beautiful, stylish, and has a great ambiance. Beyond that, though, I found the food to be average for the price. Even by Los Angeles standards, $42 for chicken and waffles feels excessive. Overall, Yardbird looks better than it tastes. While there were a few bright spots, the inconsistent service, menu confusion, and underwhelming food don't justify the price. Unfortunately, I don't see myself returning.

You definitely get your money's worth, and it's easy to see why this place is so popular. Whether you're craving something sweet or savory, it's hard to go wrong here. The restaurant had a constant buzz from how busy it was, making it feel like a popular local spot. While it could get a little loud during peak hours, the vibrant environment added to the overall experience and made it feel like a place people genuinely enjoy visiting. The service, however, was the biggest downside of our visit. While the restaurant was busy, the staff didn't seem very attentive or welcoming. It took a while to get checked on, and it often felt like we had to flag someone down when we needed something. The overall service felt rushed and a bit unorganized, which didn't match the quality of the food. For appetizers, we enjoyed zucchini fritters and grilled prawn cocktail. The fritters were the perfect combination of sweet, savory, and herby. We both loved them. The prawns were also fantastic. Perfectly grilled and juicy, with a delicious dipping sauce. For our mains, we shared the pesto gnocchi and burger. The gnocchi was tasty but I didn't think it was anything special. The burger was thick, juicy, and uniquely flavored due to the red peppers. I really enjoyed it. For dessert, of course we had to try the viral soft serve sundae. The soft serve was creamy and luxurious, and was enhanced with the side toppings of chocolate magic shell, luxardo cherries, and almonds. All in all the meal was great, so why am I giving them 3.5 stars? Mainly for the service and the cost. I understand this is West Hollywood, but I have had dined at plenty of other French restaurants at the same caliber as Coucou that have been a fraction of the cost. We didn't even order some of the "big ticket" items so I don't feel like the cost of the bill was justified. Will I come back? Maybe, just not anytime soon - and I would hope for better service.
