Crispy chicken pad Thai. Over cooked and super soft.
    John Y.

We finally decided to try this new Thai restaurant. I pass by it everyday coming home from work. We went in on a Sunday afternoon and were the only customers there. The server brought us water and took our orders. We ordered crispy chicken pad Thai, pad krapow moo krab, and the curry noodles. Oh, and a miso soup. Despite no one else there and lack of other orders it took a while to get our food. It was so bad that one of our kids asked if mommy ordered anything. First out was the pad Thai. The crispy chicken was sliced thin but it tasted ok. It was too thin for any of the crispness to be effective. However, the noodles were way overcooked. My daughter described it as "creamy"! The moo krab came next and it was very salty. I love salt but still consider it too salty. The pork was deep fried and on the dry side. There were lots of onions! The string beans and green peppers were good though. After a longer while the curry noodles finally came out and it was not impressive at all. Mostly dried crispy noodles on top and some real noodles mixed with curry sauce on the bottom. Two little drum sticks were included. I'm not sure how the miso soup was but can tell you my daughter drank it last, just before we left. As soon as we walked outside the restaurant, she threw up all of that liquid. I'm not sure if it's the soup out of she has the hiccups and it causes the incident. It's true what another Yelper said, no one here smiles. It's too bad this place didn't work out. Cold ways use more Thai food around here. We probably won't be back.

Clean and stylish place with good service, and super authentic Thai food! Been here a few times , their noodle soup is very good as well!

Pad Thai with perfectly fried chicken to die for

Great traditional and modern Thai food. Highly recomended! We ordered the fresh rolls and gyoza for appetizers and for entree an amazing Pad Thai with crispy chicken! Additionally a papaya salad and Larb Salad (if you like really hot spicy food) Make sure to also get their amazing coconut ice cream.

Thaitanium hot/sour seafood noodle soup and Tod Mun take out ready to eat at home.

The Pla Pad Kun Chai which is a fried cod fillet, with a mix of root spices and Chinese celery, had some complex flavors that didn't pan out - the fish itself was breaded in a batter that was perhaps a bit too MSG-laden, and not enough distinctive a flavor to justify its saltiness; and the Chinese celery was really tough, which didn't make for a good bite of texture. The green onions were too crispy relative to the other alliums. The Kao Soi Brisket had some decent beef pieces, but then some of the other pieces were way tough. The soup (or is it a sauce?) was way thick, and overall the dish was overly salted. There also needs to be more noodle, and more mustard green overall. The curry puff was a good idea, but the puff itself was rather dry, and not particularly well integrated with the chicken, potatoes, and alliums. The stuffing might also have been underseasoned. In general the dishes demonstrate expert preparation, but the concepts need reworking. The new environment (across the street from the former location) is a tad loud when populated with many diners, though visually it's a pleasant place to dine. The servers were attentive and respectful.

Based on one visit…read more Smaller restaurant on a Washington Street in Brighton. Pluses (+) Ambiance/Decor/Environment is cozy and warm even though its an open room. Nice quality tables and chairs as well as decorations creates an inviting environment. The warmth of the staff also makes it inviting. Food Type: What you would expect like Street food, classics. noodles and curries and a few regional specialties. Prices: Reasonable for food of this quality. We spent $90 pre-tip for three including an appetizer and a few beers (for me only). Food Quality: Very Good. We had three dishes and an appetizer and shared everything. Singha and Leo beer available as expected washed it down. I have been to Thailand on business trips and vacation and by no means have a palette capable of detecting nuances in regional dishes (I can a bit for Korean and Japanese due to extended time spent there), but could taste it was a bit playing to the American tastes. Still really good. Service: Friendly and generally fast. Minus (-) The meals came out separately. Meal one came with the appetizer. Then 7-10 minutes the second meal. Then 7-10 minutes the third meal. If eating American style ie everyone eats only their own meal, this would be a real problem. As my wife is Korean we usually eat family style (we often share meals at American restaurants, why not, you get to try more dishes), so this was not an issue really. The pluses outweigh negative it is still 4.5 rounder to 5. Absolutely worth a try. Enjoy!

Fish cakes were small and perfectly uniform - almost like they were frozen rather than prepared on site. Green curry had some spice but was mostly one note, there just wasn't much depth of flavor. Vegetables were all cut in huge hunks - both dishes had giant pieces of red bell peppers and onions. Fried rice was pretty bland and barely had any Chinese broccoli in it. Ambiance was bare bones - you order at the counter and they bring you your food and plastic side plates. Half the tables were stacked with boxes and bags of takeout orders. To top it off there's no bathroom, we were told to use the bathroom at another local business. If I'm gonna spend $60 somewhere, I expect to be able to wash my hands before eating and use the restroom. Perhaps there are some specialty dishes that we didn't try but this was my 2nd time ordering from here (I got take out once before) and both times the food was pretty bland. A truly underwhelming experience - especially when there are so many better restaurants in the area.

For $17.95, getting 3 rolls of sushi isn't a bad deal, so I'm giving this a 4/5. The combo comes with a spicy tuna roll, a california roll, and a salmon avocado roll. Spicy Tuna Roll: This was pretty disappointing. I really love spicy tuna rolls that have the minced tuna, spicy mayo, and tempura flakes all mixed together, but this was not that. This roll was a tuna cucumber roll with spicy mayo drizzled on top. With that, the spicy mayo was really overpowering and I couldn't taste the tuna at all. I'd prefer the normal tempura and mayo taste or just a tuna and cucumber, but doing it this way wasn't my favorite. California Roll: This was not bad - the imitation crab was big and plump and there was fish roe inside of the roll instead of on the outside which made it have a better texture in my opinion. The avocado was fresh and these bites were pretty enjoyable. Salmon Avocado Roll - This was the best roll of the 3 - the salmon tasted good and the avocado was fresh again. On Sunday, they have a very strong takeout business, which also impacted the ambience. At one point there were like six people waiting in line at the entrance. In such a small establishment, it changes the vibe to have people hovering and getting impatient and clarifying orders, with the frequent entrance/exit of new patrons. Our table was closest to the entrance so we probably "felt" it more than other tables would have. Still, for the "mom's night out" space that we were cultivating, I would've preferred to pay more to go someplace that had less of a takeout vibe.
