Crispy chicken pad Thai. Over cooked and super soft.
    John Y.

We finally decided to try this new Thai restaurant. I pass by it everyday coming home from work. We went in on a Sunday afternoon and were the only customers there. The server brought us water and took our orders. We ordered crispy chicken pad Thai, pad krapow moo krab, and the curry noodles. Oh, and a miso soup. Despite no one else there and lack of other orders it took a while to get our food. It was so bad that one of our kids asked if mommy ordered anything. First out was the pad Thai. The crispy chicken was sliced thin but it tasted ok. It was too thin for any of the crispness to be effective. However, the noodles were way overcooked. My daughter described it as "creamy"! The moo krab came next and it was very salty. I love salt but still consider it too salty. The pork was deep fried and on the dry side. There were lots of onions! The string beans and green peppers were good though. After a longer while the curry noodles finally came out and it was not impressive at all. Mostly dried crispy noodles on top and some real noodles mixed with curry sauce on the bottom. Two little drum sticks were included. I'm not sure how the miso soup was but can tell you my daughter drank it last, just before we left. As soon as we walked outside the restaurant, she threw up all of that liquid. I'm not sure if it's the soup out of she has the hiccups and it causes the incident. It's true what another Yelper said, no one here smiles. It's too bad this place didn't work out. Cold ways use more Thai food around here. We probably won't be back.

Clean and stylish place with good service, and super authentic Thai food! Been here a few times , their noodle soup is very good as well!

Pad Thai with perfectly fried chicken to die for

Great traditional and modern Thai food. Highly recomended! We ordered the fresh rolls and gyoza for appetizers and for entree an amazing Pad Thai with crispy chicken! Additionally a papaya salad and Larb Salad (if you like really hot spicy food) Make sure to also get their amazing coconut ice cream.

Thaitanium hot/sour seafood noodle soup and Tod Mun take out ready to eat at home.

I have been going to the Thai Noodle Cafe since it opened around 2019 and reviewdtback then. My first order was a soup (Tom Zap) that I loved so much that I was ordering it at least once a week. Similar to Tom Kha it was based on a kaffir lime/lemongrass/galangal beef/pork broth that was so hot that it cleared my sinuses! But then Covid hit, the restaurant closed, and then reopened under new management and they removed Tom Zap from the menu. However they did have another hot and sour noodle soup based on the same concept but featuring seafood and called "Thaitanium." So I tried it out. I even specified "extra spicy". But the new chef thought extra spicy could be achieved just by including a few packets of sriracha sauce-not even close. I tried again a few weeks later with no better success. I waited and then gave them one more chance a week ago. Success! The place has learned what extra spicy means. The broth was rich with the aromatic notes provided by the classic kaffir lime/galangal/lemongrass combination and it was made very spicy with Thai chile peppers. The hot and sour noodle soup was also loaded with seafood including shrimp, green mussels, and calamari and contained some ground chicken. Since I ordered takeout they packaged the noodles separately and included some lime quarters on the side. As an appetizer I tried something new "Tod Mun", a spicy Thai fish cake. Everything was excellent. I would have preferred some more fresh cilantro and the soup was a little too sweet for me, but that is use my personal taste. I look forward to enjoying their food saison.

It took quite awhile to place our order, and our appetizers came out after other tables who arrived after us, got their food before us. unfortunately we were not able to stay for our entrees. We managed to flag our server down to ask them to box it to go instead of bringing the dishes out. It did seem like perhaps our order might have not been put in right away after ordering. We ordered the following: -rotı (w/ potato curry sauce) this was tasty, light and flakey / crispy. The potatoes curry sauce was so nice, balanced saltiness. -chicken wings (wl spicy garlic sauce), i personally would pass on these next time. My portion was a bit dry. The dishes we took to go, -pad see ew- this had a nice chew even after reheating later. Thought it could have used a bit more protein portion tossed in but that's just personal pref, looked a bit light. Probably the best dish we ordered. -pla pad kun chai (fried cod fish fillet w/ lemongrass + Chinese celery) this to me isn't good to take out. Needs to be eaten on site and hot. The fillets no longer were crispy, maybe seperate sauces on side next time instead of all in one container. It wasn't too enjoyable later with extra fishy smell, taste for a white fish. -Thai iced- i like a more creamier consistency Thai tea, this one was more watery style. All in all not a terrible experience but not great. 20 min before we were able to order and 40 min plus for appetizers to come out, hence we took entrees to go.

Fish cakes were small and perfectly uniform - almost like they were frozen rather than prepared on site. Green curry had some spice but was mostly one note, there just wasn't much depth of flavor. Vegetables were all cut in huge hunks - both dishes had giant pieces of red bell peppers and onions. Fried rice was pretty bland and barely had any Chinese broccoli in it. Ambiance was bare bones - you order at the counter and they bring you your food and plastic side plates. Half the tables were stacked with boxes and bags of takeout orders. To top it off there's no bathroom, we were told to use the bathroom at another local business. If I'm gonna spend $60 somewhere, I expect to be able to wash my hands before eating and use the restroom. Perhaps there are some specialty dishes that we didn't try but this was my 2nd time ordering from here (I got take out once before) and both times the food was pretty bland. A truly underwhelming experience - especially when there are so many better restaurants in the area.

For $17.95, getting 3 rolls of sushi isn't a bad deal, so I'm giving this a 4/5. The combo comes with a spicy tuna roll, a california roll, and a salmon avocado roll. Spicy Tuna Roll: This was pretty disappointing. I really love spicy tuna rolls that have the minced tuna, spicy mayo, and tempura flakes all mixed together, but this was not that. This roll was a tuna cucumber roll with spicy mayo drizzled on top. With that, the spicy mayo was really overpowering and I couldn't taste the tuna at all. I'd prefer the normal tempura and mayo taste or just a tuna and cucumber, but doing it this way wasn't my favorite. California Roll: This was not bad - the imitation crab was big and plump and there was fish roe inside of the roll instead of on the outside which made it have a better texture in my opinion. The avocado was fresh and these bites were pretty enjoyable. Salmon Avocado Roll - This was the best roll of the 3 - the salmon tasted good and the avocado was fresh again. There wasn't a strong ginger or garlic essence like I'm used to in a Thai brown gravy. My friends seemed happy with their curries though...so maybe I just ordered wrong. On Sunday, they have a very strong takeout business, which also impacted the ambience. At one point there were like six people waiting in line at the entrance. In such a small establishment, it changes the vibe to have people hovering and getting impatient and clarifying orders, with the frequent entrance/exit of new patrons. Our table was closest to the entrance so we probably "felt" it more than other tables would have. Still, for the "mom's night out" space that we were cultivating, I would've preferred to pay more to go someplace that had less of a takeout vibe.
