Food isn't worth the effort of waiting 10 minutes to be served....

I usually don't write reviews but this one got me irritated. We ordered online, and when I got home, found that the order was wrong. I ordered spicy and there was no spiciness and they got the meat wrong. I drove back to tell them that the order was wrong and they offered to just give me a side of hot sauce. I told them that it didn't it wouldn't taste the same as when they cook it with the hot sauce. Instead of remaking my order the lady took my food to the kitchen and added the hot sauce. When I asked her to remake the order she said it's the same thing. By this point I was fed up and didn't want to argue or make a scene. Poor customer service, DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! read more

First time here due to our Passport Card. We would definitely come back because the food was that great. However the service was lacking big time. The restaurant was not very busy and several people complained that the servers were very inattentive. If I was rating on food it would be a 5, service would be a 0 to 1. But truly, the food was very good and the place was very clean. Also, after waiting for awhile on the waitress the food came out of the kitchen very quickly. Update to answer owners feedback: the servers were very inattentive. It took about 10 minutes for our server to come to our table, when she arrived we asked if they were busy and she stated "not at all" and sort of laughed it off. Then we never saw her again until long after our food arrived. My 5 year old needed her water refilled and I finally had to find the server to help us. When I did find her it appeared that she was very involved with a text conversation that she was having. The tables next to us were having the same issue. Then, we saw two different tables that were seated and waited so long that they actually got up and left. Your restaurant lost business that night because of the service. With that said, the food was tremendously good and presented beautifully. I would come back for the food. read more

Rare gem in the 'burbs! If you like your pad thai more on the dry side (a good thing - trust me) and not oily, but full of flavor then this is the place to order from. Absolutely delicious and gently flavored to the point where you can taste the various ingredients including the better than average quality chicken which I must say IMO is quite rare in Asian restaurants unless you're paying $30 per entree, which is certainly not the case here. It's clear the owners take great pride in their restaurant which makes me excited to call this my new neighborhood gem, but at the same time afraid not to know what nights the owners won't be there just in case things quality relaxes when they're away. Food was amazing and great service. We just happened upon this restaurant and decided to give it a try. Turns out it was happy hour which is 3-6 pm every day. Half price appetizers and discounted pad thai (only disclaimer is that you have to purchase a drink). The restaurant was clean and nice with no wait on a sunday afternoon. read more

I come to this restaurant often because it is located very close by my office! I am completely loyal and addicted to their Som Tam (green papaya salad) extra spicy! The chef always makes it with extra lime juice and heat for me and it's literally an entrée I get at least once a week because it is so fulfilling and savory (sweet, salty, spicy, sour) and healthy! I've had great customer service here whether dining in or out. It's a smaller restaurant but very cozy and warm in atmosphere. Not very pricey for good sized portions and fresh ingredients! First time here a few weeks ago with some family and came during lunch hour. It is in a shopping complex so it can get crowded fast so try to get here early if your're in a rush. Food came out hot and quick, despite the fact that it was very busy. I ordered the cashew chicken, it had great flavor and a good kick, but not too much to wear you constantly need water. If you like papaya salad, order it! My parents ordered their Pad Thai, even though it could be considered the most basic Thai dish it was great! The lunch special portion is generous especially for how much you pay. Overall this place was quick, delicious, clean, and had good friendly service. I'll definitely be coming back. read more

Pad kee mao was falvorless. Pretty bummed as that is my favorite dish. The other Thai place I tried earlier this month also had poor Pad Kee Mao so maybe Beaverton can't do it right. But the Pumpkin Curry and Cashew Beef was good. Not great but better. read more

Pad Thai with Tofu was very good. Spicy level was perfect and the smell was amazing. The pot stickers and crunchy spring rolls were hot and delicious. Service was quick and they continued to watch for when we needed more water. Wish they had vegetable tempura as that would have made it a five star place to us. read more

Marred by bad service, the food here was very good. My dad and I walked in to burn some time while waiting for Star Wars. The restaurant is clean and had a welcoming interior. My dad and I were very excited to eat here. We seated ourselves and had to wait for a while to get our order taken, about fifteen minutes. The waiter told me he'd be with us shortly, so I was okay with the wait. When it came to receiving the food, my dad got his order, finished it, and still my food wasn't out. The waiter checks in, tells me to wait some more. My frustration at this point is taking over my civility. People who came after us and ordered to go left before I even had anything to eat. When they bring my order out, the waitress leaves before I can ask for hot sauce so I got it myself. She comes back literally the minute I put some of it on my food, and she asks if I'm done with it. At this point I told her to just take it and she leaves us with a nervous chuckle. I asked for my check a few bites in to the food. I would not come here again or recommend this place. read more

Who screws up a basic dish like Pad Thai? This place apparently!!! I asked for two orders to go- both Pad Thai with half chicken, half tofu. Not only was the chicken missing, and the tofu scarce, but I've never seen Pad Thai noodles that looked like a pile of plain noodles. Why would they ask me how spicey and then give us no spice, sauce or flavor? Oh, right...same reason we got carrots and broccoli but no lime wedge. Luckily we ordered extra peanut sauce, but that really didn't help. It's so disappointing when you've heard great things about a place, and you're starving for something to take home. I've been to Thai Noodle three times now and the food has always been very enjoyable and at a fair price. I enjoy the curries and pad thai especially. My issue with Thai Noodle is the staff and wait time. On all three visits, it took over 15 minutes for someone to come take my order before another 20 minutes of waiting for the food to arrive. I would understand if this was during the busy lunch hour but long waiting periods seem to be constant regardless of how many people are in the restaurant. If you're crunched for time this is definitely not the place to grab a quick bite. The servers don't seem rude but just more unattentive. They do seem to go around the restaurant in a rush and don't check in often if at all. read more

Great service and free thai tea. Was overall a happy customer. Food wise was decent, ordered Duck kway teow ped on the menu but was given egg noodles. What if I was gluten intolerant? That was odd. Could do with more soup because I had half a container of soup and could only have half of my noodles with it. Angel wings was 5 small winglets/drumlets, was not worth it. Fried rice was pretty good. Came to this place tonight and grabbed their crab Thai fried rice and some egg rolls. I must say my tastebuds are wallet are finally pleased they've found the perfect combination of taste and good price in the Beaverton area, I've tried all of the Thai food restaurants and this has been the only that has stand out. Now about the food; the egg rolls were full of flavor from the spices used in the feeling to the fresh perfectly cooked veggies, the shell was perfectly crunchy and it complimented the filling just right. The fried rice was full of flavor as well with just the right combination of veggies to exalt the crab in it, the rice itself has been cooked just right in the wok, with smokiness of the fire that gives Thai fried rice it's distinctive taste of when the rice just kisses the flame to bring all the ingredients together . Very good food however I must warn that their spice levels are not accurate. I ordered a medium spice level of the green beans and chicken, we also ordered pad see ew, however I was unable to tolerate my meal. It as truly much more spicy than I asked for. They were kind to offer to replace my meal but I didn't want to waste food. My advice- get mild and add more after if needed. The food was delicious just way too spicy. My best friend and I went to Thai Noodle after catching a movie at the Cedar Hills theater, and I wish I could review the food - but we didn't get that far. In fact, the only thing that happened was we were sat at a table. The waitress gave us menus, and then... I really just don't know. We didn't see her at all, not even in passing. Another waitress kept breezing by us, clearing tables, and seating other customers. She sat 2 gentlemen at the table next to us and took their order. We had already been sitting there for 15 minutes, and when we tried to flag her down she held up her finger to signal that she would be a minute - and then disappeared into the black hole that our first waitress disappeared into. After 25 minutes of no service, no acknowledgement whatsoever, we just got up and left. I don't think they even noticed. Not sure I even want to chance a second shot with this place, regardless of how "good" their curry is. read more

Service was lacking in subsequent visits. On one visit we stood inside the door, waiting to be seated. A gal at the bar acknowledged us right away but instead of coming up, she proceeded to finish cleaning up the counter. 10 minutes later, we did have a hostess come up. As far as I am concerned, 10 minutes too long. Service was also spotty in terms of the long wait times- first in getting your order, then in bringing the food to the table. No explanations or apologies given- would have helped smooth things over a lot had they been provided. I am not sure why the delays are happening, but would appreciate the manager looking into this. It would be a shame to stop frequenting this place, as the food is indeed very good. Will be in the area this week, and may stop by to give it another go. read more

I have been a couple of times to Thai noodle- I can't say I was in love with the pad Thai but what keeps me coming back is the Kao Soi

Maybe this place is all about ordering the right dish. The spicy/sweet chicken wings are INCREDIBLE, saucy and flavorful and served as the whole wing, which I love (the crispy wing tips are the best). The khao soi I recently tried was the tastiest!! There is a lot going in this complex northern Thai dish, and it's executed well here. I ate until I I was stuffed, and later in the day I ate my leftovers. Perfection. You have to try it. We've had UberEats deliver to us three times now from Thai Noodle and have been very pleased. Tried and true for my daughter is the tofu pad thai. I've ordered the Chicken Massamun Curry. It is good and filling! We are also fans of their potstickers. Not a fan of their Thai Wonton Soup nor their mint soda...but all the rest is good enough to keep us coming back.
