Food was pretty good, but their POS machine charges you an extra 3% when using a credit card and they did not disclose that information. I wouldn't have tipped 15% and would have paid with cash or debit card if I would have known. This is shady business and when I called them they just blamed the service their POS machine goes through. On the phone with my financial institution and neither them nor VISA charged a fee so the charge is being disputed rightfully so. This is a fee the restaurant is passing onto the customer and total bullshit! Your food was already overpriced compared to better Thai places such as Tuk Tuk's in Salt Lake City and pretty sure the cost of living is less in Grand Junction yet they have the nerve to still do this. The soup tasted a bit diluted but other than that, everything tasted great! We got there right before all the crowd started coming in. Great customer service and yummy food. Best Thai food I've had in awhile. Smelled like lemongrass and herbs and when you walk in, and it was very clean, a good sign. The Tom Ka soup took awhile to make because it was so fresh! Happily waited for it and then I enjoyed every bit of it. I'll be back next time I'm in town! read more

I ate here yesterday for the first time. It was recommended by a friend and I want to support local restaurants during the Covid restrictions. They do have dine-in now on a limited basis as it is not a large restaurant. The restaurant is clean and portions are large. There is not much parking in front but adequate parking nearby after 5:00 pm. You might have to walk a bit if you go for lunch. I called in the order when I was five minutes away and was told 20 minutes. I waited another five outside in my car. When I went in, the order was waiting. Had I not gone in earlier, the food would have been cold. I ordered Pad Thai (no meat) and it was okay. Average. I've had Pad Thai that tasted brighter and fresher and contained a variety of veggies other than just green onion. That's all there was - green onions. There wasn't much flavor. The spring rolls were generous and come with a warm peanut sauce. My daughter had the yellow curry and said it was pretty good. She was surprised that it was sweet. I will go back as everyone can have an off day. I'm hoping that's the case here as finding good Thai in a small community is difficult . read more

I ordered three items: Thai fried rice, vegetarian eggrolls, and Tom Ka Gui soup. The fried rice and vegetarian eggrolls were good, but the soup was nothing more than coconut milk, heated up with shredded onions, and a few bites of carrot added at the last minute. The carrots and onions were still crunchy, like they had just been chopped and added once the soup was done. There was absolutely no flavor like there should be in this type of soup. Honestly, it just tasted like I was having warm coconut milk with no flavor. And a good Thai restaurant knows that's not the way this type soup is prepared. I make it at home all the time with an original Thai recipe and it comes out perfect. read more

I hate to do this because I want to support the smaller locally owned restaurants in town, especially during the pandemic. However....I stopped in for some take-out earlier this week and was so very disappointed. Ordered the chicken satay appetizer - the chicken was dry, tough and overcooked. I also ordered chicken pad Thai. There were no bean sprouts, no eggs and ONE single solitary scallion. This was nothing more than noodles and chicken with not enough sauce. If I had been eating in the restaurant I would have sent both of these dishes back to remake and I *NEVER* do that. This was just unacceptable. The food I got here was pretty good. I ordered the Thai basil with chicken and the papaya salad. I ordered both in a medium spice, and it was perfect for me. I wish papaya salad had more of just papaya instead of the other vegetables. And it would've been nice if the Thai basil chicken was served separately from the rice. Did take out from here and they set you up! Lots of rice and all the utensils. Got drunken noodles, tofu and chicken curry (green and red). All great but the tom kah soup could use more flavor. This is the best restaurant I have been to in Grand Junction. The thai cuisine is as authentic as I have ever had it. Thai egg rolls were the perfect way to start the meat. The green curry had the perfect flavor. The drunken noodles were absolutely delicious. The star for us was the Thai basil fried rice with shrimp. Absolutely fantastic. The shrimp were huge and they tasted scrumptious. We got thai coffee and thai iced tea and they were both great! We didnt have a single complaint. The best part was that the service was ON POINT. I always make it a point to stop in here when visiting Grand Junction. It's the best Thai in the region, served up by some super friendly folks who love that they do. Drunken noodles are top notch. Thai Fried rice is flavorful and well composed with enough (but not too many) veggies. Summer roles are large, tasty, and come 4 to an order. The portion sizes are all large - much bigger than comparable places in Denver. This is a fantastic place, great value. Those saying they have bad Thai food need their tastebuds checked out.
