    Pad See Ew. EXTREMELY tasty!
    Julie N.

...My friend loves VERY spicy food ... Today she picked a place in FV called Thai "on Fire" ... Never been here before, but it was DELICIOUS. The wait staff were incredibly pleasant and friendly. We overstayed our welcome by a few hours, but it didn't seem to matter. Their hospitality was very welcoming and they thanked us for coming.

Flavor-wise, this place really impressed me. Shoutout to the young guy at the nearby FedEx for the recommendation. The crying tiger beef was tender and flavorful, and the pad see ew blew my mind with how good it was. The crab cheese wontons were tasty but had a little too little filling for $11. Total was about $60 with tip for those 3 dishes, definitely on the pricey side but worth it. Next time I'd probably skip the wontons. Ordered to-go around 6 pm and noticed lots of pickup orders coming through. Place was neat and quiet. I'd definitely come back.

Came here randomly for dinner. We were seated right away, and the iPad kid in the corner gave me high hopes that the food would slap. It seems they are limited on spice / condiment trays, but we were lucky enough to get one as soon as we got our table. As soon as we left, another table that had already been seated for a bit got our condiment tray. The food was all over the board. KHAO SOI: 4/5. Rich and indulgent TROUT: 3/5. A bit dry. CHICKEN SKEWERS: 4/5. ROTI: 0/5. Disappointing. Waxy on the outside and doughy on the inside.

Whenever I'm in FV, I usually opt for Vietnamese food but this place has caught my eye multiple times while on the road. Located in an unsuspecting strip mall, this place is such a hidden gem that I've been thinking about for days after I've had it! First off, the service is amazing. The owner, Niki is extremely kind and welcoming. She stopped by our table many times to check if we needed anything (more water, extra sauce, dessert, etc.). She made great recommendations too. The food here is sooo good. Portions are very generous and everything is very fresh and flavorful. I also loved that the homemade sauces/condiments were conveniently at the table instead of having to ask for them. We had the crab cheese wontons, crying tiger, pad thai, tom kha, and chili garlic fish - everything was so tasty! I especially loved the pad thai and crying tiger. The pad thai was sweet and tangy, and the crying tiger came with a unique dipping sauce that was a bit different than the typical nam jim jaew. After the meal, we tried the coconut ice cream (which our server told us was from Thailand!), which came topped with roasted peanuts. The texture was halfway between a sorbet and an ice cream which I thought was very interesting. The flavor was very good too - fresh and not overpoweringly sweet. Super excited to come back to this place again for the amazing food and service. Thank you so much Thai On Fire for such a great experience!

This is my favorite Thai restaurant in the OC. Though the ambiance leaves much to be desired, the food is always on-point, full of flavor, quality ingredients and with authentic touches. The decor is elegant but a little outdated , not trendy at all like Kin or Hanuman... I do like the music they play every time. Good vibes music . Service has been friendly and prompt and gracious last few times. Food preparation is always consistent. Last time we ordered garlic beef noodle (and the steak was a large amount, perfectly marbled and tender and delicious, tasted like a ribeye,) the seafood Drunken noodles with Thai basil is my favorite... comes with generous amounts of mussels, big sweet fresh peeled shrimp, fried boneless white fish filets, calamari) , their Tom Yum goong/shrimp soup was perfectly balanced with flavors of sweet and sour and hot. My family and friends like it here too. I always get excited to come back.

The food was good and at a reasonable price. We plan to return and try different dishes. The staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean.

This Thai restaurant is very convenient for me to have lunch or stop by to meet friends in the area . There's not many good Thai places in the Fountain Valley so having this here is nice . Food: I like their papaya salad , mango sticky rice. It's my favorite dishes here . Other dishes It's decent but not amazing tasty , great portions, fair prices . Service: They are super friendly and accommodating. The vibe is chill and the music is always nostalgic. It's really well maintained, clean and have a booth seating . Parking: plenty of parking in the font !

Our Thai spot when I visit the in-laws. It's owned by the same company as "Sushi on Fire" and while we've been here several times we've never tried either of their sushi locations. Duck Noodle: Noodles with roasted duck (Skin on), bean sprouts, green onion, cilantro, and garlic sauce. My favorite, very nice soy sauce based broth, overall noodle soup tasted clean and not heavy. Potak: (Hot & sour seafood soup) Thai spicy soup with seafood in a spicy broth of lemongrass (Shrimp, fish, calamari, and mussel). Delicious and a good option for seafood lovers, my wife uses their version as the bar for tiwhr places. Pad Thai: pan-fried noodles with egg, bean sprouts, cooked in sweet and tangy sauce garnished with crushed peanuts. Noodle were perfectly cooked and not falling apart, consistent for takeout or in-person dining. Shrimp Blanket: Marinated shrimp rolls with wonton skin served with sweet and sour sauce. Nice and crunchy, tasted great with the sweet and sour sauce.

thai fried rice was decent but wish it had a bit more flavor! it tasted a bit bland and dry. i liked the chili assortment they had, i added a bunch of dry red chili to the fried rice and it really leveled it up. the duck curry was delicious! they debone the duck for you so it makes it easy to eat, and they give you a pretty good amount of meat.

Food was ok, nothing memorable but not bad either, took a star away cause wasn't all that great. They were nice but never once did they come to refill my water.

Their claim to fame, the strawberry croissants, taste as spectacular, light, crispy, airy, and deliciously subtle and fruity as much as the original location. The main problem is they definitely seem to have way less stock on hand, and things can sell out fast. I had to come back another day for my favorite item of theirs, the rusk - extremely light and crunchy bites of buttery sugared mini toast. I buy a bunch of these to take home as souvenirs, as the strawberry croissants obviously need to be eaten ASAP. Their employees were pretty friendly and helpful. I love that they carry bulk platters of their strawberry croissant and have them displayed right as you enter. They also have various other desserts and pastries, even some savory sandwiches and sushi, packaged goods, and coffee. I'm here pretty much just for their strawberry croissants and rusk, though their other items seem nice if you want goods for a convenient picnic.
