I ordered so late, and they were still so sweet! They ran out of miso soup. Which is my fault for ordering 30 before closing. They left me the SWEETEST little post it note. This SERVICCCCE and this FOOD! 20/10 thank you guys for making my night as I am sick! !

I wanted some poki and found this place nearby. It's clean and their pokis have sauce on them which I liked. I got the spicy salmon and lava tuna on salad! You can pick 2 sauces and then toppings. They have kimchi which was different and I liked quite a few of the toppings! Very nice choices. Overall, pretty good! SYOY!

This is a LARGE 3 scoop! Pretty skimpy all around!! So disappointing

Tried this place multiple times since they opened... it honestly seems like they are getting worse. The portions are SUPER small and EVEN the (free) add on extras are VERY SKIMPY!!! You can see for yourself on the picture I posted. ...and for the largest 3 scoop... the price is $18.75 out the door... I really wish there were comparable places in OC to the South Bay where you can get a bowl with 5-6 times MORE (quality) sashimi... for ~$13. Disappointed, AGAIN. I think I'm done here... Sorry, not sorry.

Build your own bowl. Ask for jenny or victor.
    Charles T.

Make sure you call ahead of time and ask if jenny or victor is there to serve you. They will curate a big beautiful bowl of poke for you unlike the other main manager who routinely skimps out on toppings and give you half scoops. At $16 for a bowl with taxes this ain't cheap. The poke is fresh and their is tons to select from, the store is pretty bare bones.

    They hire anybody!

I ordered a mini poke bowl from here that was 10 bux and the lady gave us two small squares of poke and I asked for more like the picture showed and she said it was a "mini bowl" the lady also barley spoke any English and took two tries making the bowl because she couldn't understand us. Please don't come here if you have a brain or don't like being scammed.

If it is the Fourth of July and you are at Huntington Beach scrambling to find a healthy food option for lunch or dinner, or just looking for a reliable poke spot, this is the place you can count on. The store is simple, spacious, and clean, and the staff are very kind and patient. They even let us sample the proteins before choosing, which honestly surprised me because I did not know that was even an option. This spot also offers kimchi, which I personally love and have not seen at other poke places. It was a bit too sour for my taste, but still a nice addition. The portions were generous and the flavor was great overall. What made this place stand out even more is that they were actually open during the Fourth of July. A lot of poke places showed as open online, but my boyfriend and I drove to several spots nearby HB only to find them closed. We ended up wasting time, lost our parking spot at Huntington Beach, and even missed the fireworks. So if you are at the beach on the Fourth of July and need something healthy to eat, especially if you did not bring any food, this is a great spot to stop by.

Ahipoki is a contemporary poke joint that puts a twist on the authenticity of Hawaiian poke. We ordered build-your-own poke bowls, and each protein was naturally fresh. The other sides such as mixed greens, imitation crab, and cucumbers added a boosted scent of freshness and lightness, complementing the heavy sauces. Some toppings such as their kimchi and seaweed salad threw the comprehensive flavor of the poke bowl off. Ahipoki's contemporary approach to poke bowls may spur an inauthentic remark to poke lovers.

    Chicken and Shrimp combo bowl.

The Chicken and Shrimp combo bowl is a winner! Great post workout meal. With brown rice, crab, avocado, pineapple

    Tracy N.

The sushi was fresh, and the poke bowl was absolutely delicious. I enjoyed every bite, especially with the wide variety of toppings available. It was a little bland, but that was on me, I asked for light sauce because other poke places tend to go overboard. They are VERY generous with their scoops. I also love that they have tuna and avocado as a protein option, so avocado lovers like me don't have to pay extra!

My cousin recommended this place to me during my last visit to Huntington Beach. He was very positive as well as satisfied with the food and the service of North Shore Poke. Their overall service was undoubtedly very good, but the taste and quality of the food were the only aspects that left me disappointed! I went to North Shore Poke Co. for lunch on March 28, 2026 after my visit to Huntington Beach. The place was moderately crowded the time I got in. The interior is nicely designed, capturing a traditional Hawaiian vibe. I chose the custom poke bowl - a small bowl with Rice and Salad, topped with three Hawaiian sauces (Traditional Shoyu, Spicy Mayo, and Spicy Shoyu), along with Ahi Tuna, Salmon, and extras like Cucumber, Masago, and Furikake. I also added Fresh Spicy Tuna and Seaweed Salad, which cost an additional $4.50! What disappointed me most was being charged for the Seaweed Salad, as many other poke spots typically include it as a complimentary topping. Their service was fast, and my small poke bowl was served within 5 minutes. The portion size felt underwhelming, considering the price I paid. The taste was also below average. They claim that their fish is "Fresh", my poke bowl unfortunately didn't reflect that. Most concerning of all, the Fresh Spicy Tuna seemed spoiled and had a very unpleasant smell! When I informed them, they promptly replaced the Fresh Spicy Tuna with Blue Crab. But by that time, I had lost my appetite due to the incident and could barely finish my poke bowl. North Shore Poke Co. might be one of the top poke spots in Huntington Beach, but I would still rank The Poke Place in Rancho Cucamonga and Ahipoki Bowl in Rialto well above it. Most likely I'm not coming back to this place again!

I love coming here because their staff is always so friendly and the food is incredible. Their Mac salad is out of this world and their steamed rice is oh so fluffy. The salmon was good, though it didn't particularly stand out. The spicy crab added a nice kick, and the sweet corn brought a satisfying crunch. The cucumber and edamame tasted fresh, and brought everything together well. The sauce had a bright, citrusy flavor that added some zest without overpowering the bowl or making it too spicy. One ingredient I didn't expect to enjoy as much as I did was the mandarin oranges. They added just the right amount of sweetness and helped balance the savory flavors throughout the bowl. Overall, it's a solid poke spot with fresh ingredients, quick service, and easy parking.
