Food is good. However it takes a long time to get the food. We have been here twice for lunch. The 1st time it took nearly 20 min and the 2nd time more than half an hour to get our food. People on a lunch break would prefer to be in and out quickly. The soup served with lunch menu is a little too salty for my taste. read more

The place is neat. We ordered chicken panang curry but some of the chicken was so hard to chew so that was weird. I do like the flavor and the spice. It's next to my kids pediatrician so I've been meaning to try this place but I've had better Thai food. It's a bit on the pricey side too. Their Thai iced tea is not that good either. I LOVE Thai Food... this Thai food is not bad. Their vegetable spring rolls and plum sauce are pretty good, their soups are good. Wasn't a fan of their sweet and sour vegetable dish. Some of their plates are slightly flavorless but most are tasty. The customer service was great. For the food I ordered I felt as though it was a little overpriced. Clean location and fast service. first time here. it was amazing. I got the shrimp pad Thai, the shrimp tasted very fresh and was thoroughly cooked. some Thai places taste like the pad Thai came out of a box, by this place had fresh steaming food. it was amazing. my parents got the green curry and loved it. it was one of the best Thai places we've been to. the staff was very friendly and fast. we drove 30 minutes to try this new place out! definitely one of our favorites! I work in the same plaza, and come here maybe three times a month. I am a creature of habit so the only thing I've gotten and probably will ever get is their chicken pad Thai (lunch special!) I feel for the price it's a great value. It's so tasty and I usually eat half on my lunch break and heat up the rest towards the end of my shift or when I get home. The salad isn't anything special, and sometimes the chicken is a little dry. However, consistently each time I've gone the noodles are flavorful, the rice is cooked perfectly, and the wonton is a great treat. For about $10 (after tax and tip), to sustain me for two meals and something I look forward to each week I'm very satisfied. I've never had an issue with the meal being anything other than hot and satisfying. And the service? The gentleman who always rings me up is always chatting with me or other customers, I've never had to wait for my food as I call it in and it's ready in 15/20 minutes. read more

This is my favorite Thai restaurant in South Orange County. The ingredients are fresh and the food is excellent. What I like the best is that they really care about their customers and will customize your order. They even remember the little things on to-go orders like including red chili sauce along with the fried rice with chicken. (They just know, even when we forget to ask.) They will substitute cabbage for lettuce on their chicken larb dish, which is to die for by the way.) Highly recommended! read more

Caution ordering delivery!!! I live about 1/2 a mile from their restaurant and was quoted 45mins to an hour for delivery. That was at 7:00, it is now 8:45 and after calling them to inquire about my order they said they will start cooking it right away and will be at my door in 20 minutes. read more

I actually really like the food at this place, but when picking up my to-go order today I saw something I almost wish I didn't see :-( I was waiting at the front counter and the cook came out with a blue rubber (surgical) glove on and walked into the bathroom. Pretty much talking the whole time on hands free phone while we asked her question on the menu, they forgot us in the corner of the restaurant. We wait forever for someone to cometake the order. However, when I called Thai Palace I was pleasantly surprised to find that the owners are in the same family with the same recipes YES!! Absolutely dreadful. Our first and last time to Thai Palace S.C., satay was flavorless, followed by Pad Thai that was greasy and dull. The chicken they added to it was unremarkable, as it had absolutely no flavor whatsoever, as it was completely unseasoned. Should have gone to Starbucks next door for a Protein Bistro Box. I usually never Yelp unless it's really good or really bad. I've been a couple times in the past and have received COLD not warm but actual cold food and thought that was strange. So I decided to go back a couple years later and try it again just to see if anything had changed but no this time was actually worse. I got fried cream cheese wontons and as I bit into one I got a nice frozen cream cheese bit. So it's not homemade and on top of that it was 8+ dollars for that. I'm not down to pay 8 dollars for FROZEN packaged wontons I can just make myself at home for much cheaper. They comped the order which was nice but still so gross. Then I got the pad Thai with beef and that was just alright nothing special about it. It came out in about less then 10 minutes though which makes me believe that was pre packaged too because it was super hot and somewhat stale. So yeah I'm pretty much done with this place. Don't let the prices fool you guys you can make it at home for much cheaper :) read more

I would love to be able to rate the food at this place. However, the people where rude. They saw me ask for a table and never acknowledged me. I even try to get their attention more than once and stood there for more than 5 minutes. Not once anyone even try to ask me anything or even show me a menu or have the courtesy to even say: "we are busy could you please wait". The problem is that even if they are busy sitting someone down and giving them a drink can save this kind of review. It was lunch time and one of the people in charge appears to be busy on a ticket or something which he proceeded to involve two other people on all while I am just standing there waiting to get lunch. There was not enough people for them to need more than one waiter and or that much work considering that it was at the end of the lunch rush. I have gone back to that area more than once and will never try that place. From my perspective that kind of treatment is uncalled for and should never be allowed. read more

My new favorite Thai place! I can't seem to get away from the yellow curry though, cause I love it. I had an interesting experience here though. One day I decided to try their cucumber salad since I wasn't feeling really hungry and I guess I really wasn't hungry and it wasn't really what I was looking for so I didn't eat but two bites. Not because Thai Palace wasn't good, but just cause I wasn't feeling that hungry (the company makes a difference). They must have asked me 3 or 4 times if it was okay or if I didn't like it. I said it was just fine but they still offered me something else to eat and a box if I wanted it and when I declined and sent them away they came back and didn't charge me for the salad I didn't eat. I love their food, and their service, they're quick to deliver. Only issues would be that they don't speak english very well, which I feel like is okay since it's a Thai Place, not a hamburger joint. read more
